GENERAL HOSPITAL Preview: Serena Sets Her Sights on Michael; Jason’s Emotional Exit from the Mob

This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, new and old motivations come into play with dangerous consequences. According to the just released GH video spoilers video for the week of August 3-7, a bailiff calls out, “All rise!”
Now it’s Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) vs. Curtis (Donnell Turner), as the surgeon is suing the owner of the Savoy for assault that ruined is ability to operate. At the end of the day, which of these men has enough evidence against the other? Portia (Brook Kerr) is by Isaiah’s side, while Jordan (Tanisha Harper) is with Curtis.
Next, Lucy (Lynn Herring) has a plan to get the controlling shares of Deception away from Michael (Rory Gibson). She wants her daughter, Serena (Kelly Kruger) to seduce Michael. She tells her, “Pick out your most seductive suit.” Soon, we see Serena in her bathing suit at the Metro Court face to face with Michael.
Later, there is a small baggie containing three blue pills. Nina (Cynthia Watros) ask Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), “What did you do?” We also see Michael asking the same thing of Jacinda (Paige Herschell). Leading into this week, viewers know that Willow doesn’t want the former escort anywhere near her children, Amelia and Wiley. Is this how she stops her, or is Jacinda up to old tricks and wants to frame Willow? Remember when Jacindsa drugged Drew (Cameron Mathison)? Stay tuned.
Finally, in the pick-up from last Friday’s cliffhanger, an emotional Jason (Steve Burton) continues to tell Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he cannot work for him anymore. Sonny ask, “So that’s it? You’re Out?” We fade to black.
Take a look at the official GH spoilers for the week below.

Vincent Pastore of ‘Sopranos’ Fame and ‘General Hospital’s’ Maximus Giambetti Dies at 80

Vincent Pastore, best known for his memorable role as Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s The Sopranos has passed away.
The veteran actor was found dead on August 1st in his home in the Bronx, New York. Pastore was 80-years-old. The cause of death is yet to be determined.
As well as his role on The Sopranos, many soap fans will recall he played multiple smaller roles on the beloved One Life to Live from 1995 and 2004. However, in 2008, he landed the short-term role as Maximus Giambetti on General Hospital.

PASTORE WANTED TO BE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL
Maximus was the mobster father of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bodyguards: Max (Derk Cheetwood) and Milo (Drew Cheetwood)
According to Soap Opera Digest, Pastore told Soaps In Depth back in 2009, after appearing in a SOAPnet promotional campaign as a celebrity fan of General Hospital: “‘I’d love to be on the show. So they called up GH’s casting director (Mark Teschner) and Bobby (Robert Guza Jr. ex-head writer, GH) and they wrote me in!”
Pastore was a huge General Hospital fan from way back, who at one point told producers that he would watch the ABC soap opera while working in bars and nightclubs in the 70s and 80s.
Throughout his decades long career, Pastore appeared in films including: Goodfellas, Carlito’s Way and Men of Respect, The Jerky Boys: The Movie and the 1996 HBO TV movie Gotti.
In TV, besides The Sopranos, Pastore’s credits included: Law & Order, The Practice, Son of the Beach, Queens Supreme, Hawaii Five-0, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, plus the miniseries The Last Don II. Most recently, Vincent was a series regular on Gravesend and guest starred on Yellowjackets.
Pastore is survived by his daughter, Renee, son-in-law and granddaughter.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Good. Hopefully now she will stay at home and enjoy her daughter and let Patrick find Sam!
Patrick find Sam??
There is this friendship with them that is odd but cool since they come from different parts of the show but I think they would have sparks. certainly more than Saaaaaabrinaaaaa!
Sorry to disappoint you but Teresa will be back later in the Summer. As for Sam she’s with Silas now and i’m sure Jason will be returning sooner or later. So her hands are full enough.
Dont depress me! I see Silas and Nina hooking back up. Your right though, Sam will ultimately go back to Jason.
Haha…I like Sabrina but I don’t see a reunion with Patrick. And I agree…had the writers gone in a different direction I think Sam and Patrick would have made a good couple. But I like her with Silas as well…and though I believe Jason will be back…I’m kinda hoping she and Silas choose each other over their former loves…
Congrats to Teresa and her husband on the birth of their daughter.Since the due date i think was May 24th the baby came a little late.
Great news..Congratulations!!
Congrats and Best Wishes! I’m hoping for the sake of story and Teresa’s personal life that lil Gabriel Drake Santiago doesn’t die. Would be rather uncomfortable I would think to play that storyline so close to having and loving a newborn in real life!
If you’re reading this Teresa…congrats again!
Congratulations to the happy family!
Congrats Teresa!
My heart has gone out to this young lady knowing that she’s been playing these heart-wrenching baby-in-peril scenes for weeks now while heavily pregnant herself. I don’t like that they gave a woman about to deliver herself that kind of material to play (especially today when they were told there was no hope for the baby). Maybe she had no problem with it but it just seemed fundamentally “wrong” to me – calling on her to experience those type of emotions while she is in critical last stages of pregnancy.
Hopefully Teresa will now have some time off to be with her baby and her husband and enjoy being a family. She seems like a very young sweet lady and I’m sure she’ll make a great mom.
I totally agree! So unfair for her to play this role while pregnant and then have baby die.
Much happiness to her and her new family.
Agree.
I am tired of writers killing babies as a plot device. It’s depressing and not remotely entertaining–who wants to see that? And what normally would be a heart wrenching was not because I am sorry, but this young lady cannot act to save her life.
I wish her a very long maternity leave full of happiness.
As usual, a voice of reason. Thank you, Harry!!!!
Congrats! Can’t wait till Sabrina returns to GH.
Patrick needs to help and find his wife Robin. He belongs with his wife Robin. As for storyline other actresses played losing a child while pregnant. It’s their job called acting. Nothing special about this time.
Goodness! You’re like a dog with a bone. Same agenda different day! LOL
Wow, talk about a person living in a bubble..Cathy, this thread is about the actress that plays Sabrina giving birth to a healthy and beautiful baby girl. in REAL life ..Congrats to her and her family and you need some serious meds and social skills after reading your post.
One of the first persons to congrats Ms Castillo was the actress that played Robin. It’s just a show!!
The shows are just fake..They are NOT real life , Cathy.
Good night!!!
Omar, Cathy has the right to discuss a story from GH without you questioning her sanity and social skills. I am sure she is aware that it’s a work of fiction without you reminding her.
Cathy…whether it’s Teresa or any other actress who has to play losing a baby…it’s a heartbreaking storyline. That you don’t get the possible mixed bag of emotions for the actress who is currently pregnant and anticipating the birth of her own child (which Teresa was at the time ti was filmed)..while simultaneously having to put herself into an extraordinarily painful emotional place imagining the death of her newborn…is particularly insensitive.
If we the audience can feel the pain of the moment…I think it might be just as painful or moreso for a pregnant woman to play the part of the grieving mother
And did any of you have the same problem with Kirsten Storms being denied her newborn daughter in an equally brutal, albeit different kind of, storyline? Maxie went through an emotional baby rollercoaster during Storms entire pregnancy, but there seemed to be no objections there…..oh, and she handled it magnificently!!!!
Kristen Storms is a very gifted actress, and yes, she handled herself magnificently.
finally someone mentions that.
congrats Teresa Castillo cant wit till ur back on gh I love ur character.
Absolutely Fabulous!!!
