Another daytime favorite is coming to General Hospital.  This time its Kimberly J. Brown (Ex-Marah) of Guiding Light fame.  She last appeared on the soaps during her from 1993-1998 and then a brief return in 2006

According to Soap Opera Digest, she will make her GH debut next week in a mystery role.

Kimberly worked with two GH powerhouse actresses during her tine on Guiding Light.

She noted to SOD about her time in Springfield: Cynthia Watros (Nina, GH, Ex-Annie Dutton, GL) was my stepmom for a bit, and Laura Wright (Carly, Ex- Cassie, GL) played my aunt.”

Brown has appeared in numerous primetime television shows and motion pictures over the last few decades.

Now the question becomes, who will Kimberly play on GH? Share your theories via the comment section below.

Well…. she would have to bleach her hair to do it, but…. she’s about the right age for a LuLu recast. And it is about time she woke up from that coma, ain’t it?

I’d really rather see Julie Marie Berman come back, of course. But that’s the guess I’m going with. They sure as Hell don’t need any more new characters on an already crowded canvas.

I’m thinking she will be Maxie’s nanny.

Harry
Right you are, and looks like that A.H Peter killed the real nurse. The plot thickens!

Hmmmm. Who could she be? Not that we need any recasts right now, but she does look like she could play a number of current characters on screen.

As for those currently not on screen…
It’s too soon for Lulu to return, and I’d doubt they hire a brunette for the role.

I’ll rule out Serena Baldwin or Lila Rae Alcazar because we can’t have good things and KJB might be a bit old for both roles. Conversely, she’s too young for Sarah Webber.

Since we already know that John Reilly’s daughter will play Annie Donely, she’s probably not tied to that story which will run next Friday.

Sadly, she’ll likely be Cyrus’ never mentioned daughter. As good as Jeff Kober’s performance is, Cyrus is still not a character we need long term.

This is the second time in two weeks we’ve been “warned” about the imminent arrival of former soap vets. Why do we need them? Bring back characters we know and utilize the underseen.

Just what the show needs: more new cast members. NOT.

Well, being the age of 36, kind of puts her in an odd age group somewhere between Willow, Sasha, Brook Lyn, Sam and then Carly, Nina, Olivia, Ava, so this will be very interesting.

Um … Sam is in the Carly Ava Nina age group. She could be a mother to any of those younger girls.

Johnny
OMG, didn’t realize she is 45 , but to make up for being so old, she only weighs 95 lbs.

Hi Violet..
yah she’s 36 but–
Height: 5′ 5½”
GH has a lot of miniature women.
I’m 5-7– with shoes higher..
It’s funny– I have a 5-3 friend and
I look down at her, she looks up..
Sam is miniature looks like
an 11yr old- girl, same for Liz and Maxie
and most all others. All wear 6-inch heels, every second possible in the shower too LOL
I’ve seen them wearing their tower heels on in/on bed, they are never without their 6-inch heels on, never..weird.
Why can’t they be natural wearing Nikies etc?

She’s fantastic! It was great seeing her in the Locher Room.

I think she’s going to be Maxie’s new nurse and be mixed up with Peter!

Kayla
Kudos to you and Harry that guessed right. I never thought of that.

Violet, Violet, I HATE this story! Peter ALWAYS has the upper hand, over and over. Enough already! In what universe would Jason let this worm slither along like this? And his Snidely Whiplash performances are becoming laughable. S.O.S!

I’m not sure it’s the actor’s fault – I think he and everyone else in this dreadful storyline have done their best with some awful material, but I have definitely had enough of Peter! The longer this goes, the more good actors/characters are being dragged into it.
I feel so bad for Finola Hughes and James Patrick Stuart especially. They are great actors having to try to sell this day after day.
It is the storyline that ate the GH canvas at this point!

I completely disagree—he’s a horrible actor. He whispers his lines trying to sound evil and it only makes him seem laughable. It’s past time for him as his character to go.

Being somewhat an expert on all things “evil”, I would have to say that Whiny Heiny will be the butt of jokes for all eternity when he finally arrives in Hell. I can’t imagine Adolf Hitler or Joe Stalin inviting him over to any of their parties.

Also, it’s not a good idea to invite Joe & Adolf to the same party either, but that’s entirely another story….

Tristan Riggs is General Hospital’s New Aiden

Looks like there is another new actor in the younger set on General Hospital. Tristan Riggs is taking over the role of Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) son, Aiden.

Previously, Enzo De Angelis played the part of Liz and Lucky’s (formerly Jonathan Jackson) son since 2021. Soap Opera Digest confirmed that Riggs is now firmly in the part.

The switch happened on today’s Thursday May 2nd episode in scenes. Recently, Aiden came out as gay to him mom after admitting his interest in one of his classmates.

Photo: ABC

As Riggs begins in the part, it looks like Aiden is being bullied at school. Elizabeth is trying to get to the bottom of things and made an appointment with school counselors to find out what’s going on, after seeing his book bag had pink paint on it.

Riggs has been acting since he was 7-year-0ld and has appeared on the TV series Walker, True Lies and Best Foot Forward to name a few.

So, what do you think of Tristan Riggs as the new Aiden? Do you hope Aiden’s story becomes more front and center? Comment below.

Juliet Donenfeld is the Temporary Recast as General Hospital’s Georgie

Those who saw the GH preview for today’s May 2nd episode were a bit confused when they saw a young actress sitting with Lois (Rena Sofer) and Violet (Jophielle Love). As it turns out, that young girl is a recast Georgie.

Juliet Donenfeld is stepping into the role temporarily replacing Lily Fisher. As viewers know, Georgie is the young daughter of Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) named after Maxie’s sister, Georgie who passed away.

According to Soap Opera News, Fisher will be back soon in the part.

As for Donenfeld’s credits, she has appeared as JJ in the Netflix’s WWE series The Big Show Show,  Better Call Saul, Good Girls, Station 19, and Sydney to the Max to name but a few.

In addition, Juliet became the youngest nominee for an Annie Award, gaining recognition for voicing the character of Sally Squirrel in the Animated TV/Broadcast Production of Pete the Cat.

Watch today’s GH teaser below, and let us know your thoughts about Juliet as a recast Georgie via the comment section below.

“Daytime television invites viewers into the private lives of characters, often bringing important issues like cancer screenings into living rooms and around water coolers. Soaps debuted the first cancer storyline in 1962 – years before the topic was discussed in the mainstream, and it left an indelible impact: a whole generation of women who scheduled a potentially life-saving Pap smear for the first time,” said Daytime Stands Up host Alan Locher. “For so many viewers, this brought the issue front and center,” added co-host Michael Fairman. “Today, it’s become almost impossible to avoid; but there is hope with cancer research, thanks to organizations like Stand Up To Cancer.”

SU2C Co-Founder Sue Schwartz, SU2C President and CEO Julian Adams, Ph.D., and SU2C Health Equity Committee Member Elizabeth Jaffee, M.D., will also participate to speak to the importance of early detection, exciting scientific breakthroughs, and the ongoing work yet to be done to make screenings and treatment equitable for all.

“This year, an estimated 2 million people in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer, presenting an opportunity for the public to stand with us and rise to the occasion,” said Adams. “We’re thankful to Alan Locher, Michael Fairman and our friends from the daytime television community, who will raise critical funding to honor those we’ve lost – and to propel new scientific breakthroughs for current and future patients. Everyone has a story, and we’re grateful to all of you for sharing yours.”

For over 15 years, SU2C has leveraged its relationship with the entertainment community – which includes more than 1,100 celebrity ambassadors – to generate public donations, increase awareness and fund cutting-edge cancer research. SU2C research has contributed to the development of more than 10 scientific breakthroughs that have significantly impacted the field and provided new treatment options for breast, colorectal, lung, melanoma, pancreatic, pediatric and prostate cancers.
