Well…. she would have to bleach her hair to do it, but…. she’s about the right age for a LuLu recast. And it is about time she woke up from that coma, ain’t it?

I’d really rather see Julie Marie Berman come back, of course. But that’s the guess I’m going with. They sure as Hell don’t need any more new characters on an already crowded canvas.

I’m thinking she will be Maxie’s nanny.

Right you are, and looks like that A.H Peter killed the real nurse. The plot thickens!

Hmmmm. Who could she be? Not that we need any recasts right now, but she does look like she could play a number of current characters on screen. As for those currently not on screen… It’s too soon for Lulu to return, and I’d doubt they hire a brunette for the role. I’ll rule out Serena Baldwin or Lila Rae Alcazar because we can’t have good things and KJB might be a bit old for both roles. Conversely, she’s too young for Sarah Webber. Since we already know that John Reilly’s daughter will play Annie Donely, she’s probably not tied… Read more »

This is the second time in two weeks we’ve been “warned” about the imminent arrival of former soap vets. Why do we need them? Bring back characters we know and utilize the underseen.

Just what the show needs: more new cast members. NOT.

Well, being the age of 36, kind of puts her in an odd age group somewhere between Willow, Sasha, Brook Lyn, Sam and then Carly, Nina, Olivia, Ava, so this will be very interesting.

Um … Sam is in the Carly Ava Nina age group. She could be a mother to any of those younger girls.

OMG, didn’t realize she is 45 , but to make up for being so old, she only weighs 95 lbs.

Hi Violet..
yah she’s 36 but–
Height: 5′ 5½”
GH has a lot of miniature women.
I’m 5-7– with shoes higher..
It’s funny– I have a 5-3 friend and
I look down at her, she looks up..
Sam is miniature looks like
an 11yr old- girl, same for Liz and Maxie
and most all others. All wear 6-inch heels, every second possible in the shower too LOL
I’ve seen them wearing their tower heels on in/on bed, they are never without their 6-inch heels on, never..weird.
Why can’t they be natural wearing Nikies etc?

I think she’s going to be Maxie’s new nurse and be mixed up with Peter!

Violet, Violet, I HATE this story! Peter ALWAYS has the upper hand, over and over. Enough already! In what universe would Jason let this worm slither along like this? And his Snidely Whiplash performances are becoming laughable. S.O.S!

I’m not sure it’s the actor’s fault – I think he and everyone else in this dreadful storyline have done their best with some awful material, but I have definitely had enough of Peter! The longer this goes, the more good actors/characters are being dragged into it.
I feel so bad for Finola Hughes and James Patrick Stuart especially. They are great actors having to try to sell this day after day.
It is the storyline that ate the GH canvas at this point!

I completely disagree—he’s a horrible actor. He whispers his lines trying to sound evil and it only makes him seem laughable. It’s past time for him as his character to go.

Being somewhat an expert on all things “evil”, I would have to say that Whiny Heiny will be the butt of jokes for all eternity when he finally arrives in Hell. I can’t imagine Adolf Hitler or Joe Stalin inviting him over to any of their parties.

Also, it’s not a good idea to invite Joe & Adolf to the same party either, but that’s entirely another story….

GH’s Parry Shen Delivers the ‘Power Performance of the Week’

How many of us have lost, or had to say goodbye to our best friend? Somehow fate or illness intervenes and cuts short someone you share so many memories with.

On last Thursday’s episode of General Hospital, Dr. Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) family and friends gathered for her memorial at the GH chapel.  However, viewers knew of the special connection between Britt and her bestie, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen).

Photo: ABC

Devastated at losing Britt, upset that she never told him she about her diagnosis with Huntington’s Disease, and mourning her death, Brad comes to her former office, where Britt was the Co-Chief of Staff at the hospital. After exchanging heartfelt moments with Britt’s mother, the grieving Liesl (Kathleen Gati), and Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), Brad (with a paper bag in hand) spends some time alone in Britt’s former office, which has now been cleaned out.

Next, Brad takes out a carton of ice cream (for those who know the back-story, Britt and Brad would sit together each with ice cream and watch the red carpet at the Nurses’ Ball on TV and hoot and howl at the residents of Port Charles), and thus begins a very emotional and five-hankie moment, where Brad recalls all the key moments in their friendship.

Parry Shen was so touching in this scene, that if you have been a fans of Britt and Brad’s friendship, we are sure you shed some tears.

Later, during the memorial, Brad is pained listening to the others eulogize Britt, and when it is his turn to speak, he does his best to get through it and pay homage to his best friend.

We will miss the Brad and Britt friendship as will many GH viewers for it was one-of-a-kind on the soaps – two originally, not so nice people, doing bad things and finding common ground with each other, and eventually turning their lives around and being there to support each other.

For all of these scenes mentioned above, Michael Fairman TV names Parry Shen’s work, the Power Performance of the Week.  You can check out a clip featuring Shen below.

Now, let us know, what did you think of Parry’s Performance during Britt’s memorial episode? Comment below.

Marcus Coloma On His GH Exit: “I Don’t Know Why That Decision Was Made, But I Don’t Feel Any ill Will and I Didn’t Feel I Got Fired”

This week, GH fans saw Adam Huss returning to the ABC soap opera as Nikolas Cassadine to finish out the rest of the scenes originally intended to be played by Marcus Coloma who ended his three-year run on the show a tad early.

As has been previously reported, Coloma came down with Covid-19 as his final tape days neared, and a decision was made for him to not return to finish off his last run of episodes.

With all the rumors and stances taken by everyone involved, Coloma was the special guest on this week’s episode of the That’s Awesome Podcast hosted by Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson and discussed his departure from the long-running daytime drama series.

Marcus expressed that when he took the role on GH, he was excited to be in that kind of environment (working on a soap opera), and only signed on for three years.  However, as time went by it became more difficult to reconcile leaving when his contract was up, sharing: “You fall in love with the crew and everybody along with it. So, two and a half years in, this decision that was so clear in the beginning is getting complicated.”

The actor added that while, “I knew the end was coming, it wasn’t like GH was saying, ‘Hey, Marcus, we want you to stay.’  There was no negotiation … and all I can say to that is I don’t know why that decision was made, but I don’t feel any ill will and I didn’t feel like I got fired. It just felt like … there was maybe an understanding that I was going to be there for three years. The big surprise is how much it hurt. Even though I knew I was going to leave.”

In the end, Coloma reflected that this may have concluded as it should, adding, “I really do have some big goals and those goals would have never been realized if I would have stayed. That’s not to take anything away from GH because I admire everything about it.”

Watch the episode of That’s Awesome featuring Coloma below.

Then weigh-in, what do you think of Marcus’ thoughts on his exit as GH’s Nikolas Cassadine? Share your thoughts in the comment section.

Adam Huss Back to GH as Nikolas Cassadine

With Marcus Coloma’s last appearance as Nikolas Cassadine on last week’s January 26th episode of General Hospital, the soap opera brought back Adam Huss to finish out the dark prince’s storyline.

According to Soaps.com. Huss aired today on the January 31st episode of the ABC daytime drama series and will finish out the scenes that were written to be portrayed by Coloma.

Adam previously subbed for Coloma back in September 2021 and again in November 2022.

After it was announced that Coloma was leaving GH, the network and the series agreed that it would be best that Marcus did come in to tape his last episodes since he was recovering from Covid-19 at the time.  Thus, we are seeing those episodes featuring Huss now airing in early February.

So, glad to see Adam back to wrap Nikolas’ current storyline? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
