Hallmark Channel Programming to Stream on Peacock
In another major acquisition for NBCUniversal’s streamer, Peacock, now comes word on Monday, that it has picked up the Hallmark Channel in a wide-ranging content deal with Hallmark Media.
The deal will include streaming simulcasts of Hallmark’s linear channels, as well as a library of on-demand and next-day content.

Known for its Christmas and holiday movies (which often feature soap stars including Days favorite, Alison Sweeney), Hallmark Media will bring their original films and current series to Peacock. The linear channels that will be available include: Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries and Hallmark Drama.
According to the Hollywood Reporter who shared the news, it’s a rare streaming deal with a third-party for Peacock, which has mostly built its service using content developed in-house at NBCUniversal. Just last month Peacock began streaming programming from channels like NBC and Bravo on a next-day basis, after taking back the rights from Hulu.
Kelly Campbell, president of Peacock and direct-to-consumer at NBCUniversal, in a statement: “As we continue to make Peacock a premium streaming destination, Hallmark is exactly the type of brand we want to align with. Through this groundbreaking partnership, we’re giving Hallmark viewers a unique viewing experience while continuing to grow our audience, boosting engagement across both brands.”
Days of our Lives recently joined Peacock back in September after nearly 57 years on NBC.
So, what do you think of the Hallmark Channel and its content coming to Peacock? A good fit along with DAYS? Comment below.
Great news! Now I can use all those horrible Xmas movies to torture the damned!!
Thanks, Peacock!
Oh no!!! I watch a lot of Hallmark on the Women’s channel as part of my basic cable package. Does this mean I am going to have to pay to get Hallmark on Peacock? So far I am not a subscriber to any steaming services. And don’t want to become one.
Peacock is worth it

Rose–if you have Comcast/Xfinity x1box, Peacock is Free–
Su000…Thanks for the heads up. I’ll check with my provider as well, and see how their program options are for Hallmark. I would miss having H as a frequent, good ending, time out from all the new I do follow. But even I can’t binge on H after a while…too many copy-cat stories from other seasons. But I always nice to see some of our soap people spreading their wings.
Hallmark Movies Now is a subscription streaming video on demand service which offers commercial-free, feel-good movies and series from Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and more. Following a free 7-day trial period, t
he service is $5.99 a month or $59.99 a year.
The Hallmark Channel is available to stream on Philo, Frndly TV, Hallmark Movies Now, fuboTV, and YouTube TV.
Hallmark Channel original shows and movies wherever and whenever you want with the Hallmark TV app! Just launch the app and log in with your cable or satellite provider account.
But– if you have Comcast/Xfinity Xbox, Hallmark is free..
Su000…Thank you so much for the info. I’ll see what I can do with my provider. Otherwise no streaming at $5.99 for me. Needless to say I am so disappointed. Whoever bought Turner Classic Movies ruined it, too. I think it was Warner’s, No more free movies in my basic cable. Oh, I can get it on YouTube, but again they want you to pay. TPTB who are running the world now now keep taking more and more away us day by day. Unless you now pay or have apps. I won’t be ruled by greed and tech. So f**k them. Maybe I will go back to reading more books again.
Su000…Talked to my cable provider. So far I should still be able to get the Hallmark channel for free. Hope this doesn’t change.
Rose– that was a good news day for you….
I feel Comcast will continue to carry Hallmark-it’s a money generator for Comcast..
Enjoy your shows! 🙂
I thought Hallmark has its own streaming channel.
No, I am loosing shows I watch alot. Can’t afford Peacock and cable.
Me to I watched Hallmark all the time Peacock you suck,First Days now this.
