one life to live will be back on april 29 2013. cannot wait i am so excited in watching viki dorian clint david nora and bo. i live in vancouver bc canada. someone told me i cannot watch one life to live in canada. we don’t have hulu. i heard that some people will put one life to live episodes on youtube. hopefully this is true. when one life to live was on abc. i watched the daily episodes on youtube. i watch general hospital episodes on youtube. so much better. no commercial at all. i wish one life to live great success on prospect park. i really think it will be a big hit. hopefully im right. all my children i loved on abc. buy all my children looks like a teen soap to me. susan lucci needs to come back and save all my children. i know she is very busy with other projects. i wish all my children great success as well. but i think in my opinion it will not last at all.

You can watch from Canada..
All you need is a USA IP ..
Use a proxy server and pic a USA server.. Then you can get into Hulu..
there are apps for proxies or google ”proxies” ..

Had to reply to you here about what i said’ i cant get hulu and i cant afford it’. I ALREADY knew hulu is FREE! The latter part of my comment’ i cant afford it’ meant i cant afford to pay for OLTL via huluplus ect.(at this time) I reread what i wrote so i see i shouldve made it more clearer, and i understand how it confused you! but thanks for the reply anyway…

Yeah? and for how long before they shut you down? PP screwed Canadians by shutting us out of our soaps as much as ABC did. There are a great many people here who’ve been watching for 30 years too! And what about seniors who don’t have access to a compute much less muck around with proxy server stuff before it too gets shut down.

They’re making it only available in the US for the copyright and geo-restriction nonsense just like with eBooks. It will only be available in the US and too bad for everyone else whether you’ve been a loyal viewer for 30+ years or not. Hiding or masking you ISP will only last for so long.

As much as I love the soaps – I hope the project fails for their lack of care and concern for all their soap fans! And BOO on them for taking John away from Sam. I was thrilled t see their pairing back from Port Charles days. PP you SUCK!

DO NOT USE PROXIES.
That’s how people and scammers hack into your system.
IP Proxies are never a secure thing to use.

With all due respect, what you’re asking people to do when they put episodes on youtube is illegal and it’s called piracy. If we want online soaps to survive and thrive, we cannot let these episodes show up on youtube. These soaps will derive their livelihood from advertising revenue and I for one am tired of people stealing the work of others and “innocently” posting the epoisdes. It’s disrespectful to the actors, disrespectful to the company that’s bringing them back and ultimately disrespectful to the online community.

so how afe the viewers from canada supposed to watch? its not fair that only u.s. people get to watch. i’m not going to pay to download from itunes esp when i don’t know how the shows are gonna be presented

My Canadian friends are all setup with Hulu. They used an app called Spotflux to access Hulu. Install spotflux & you are good to go.

I live in the US and Hula doesn’t support the platform on my smartphone but will for I phones and I have to pay itunes to watch my favorite soap OLTL… So, if I live in the USA and I have to pay… What makes you so special? Jim is right as well… You are asking people to break the law. Do you really feel that is right? I myself don’t and I would not count on seeing it on utube… It would be outright immoral!!! I’m sure as time goes by and the shows progress we will have move viewing options so just hang tight and trust that our Soaps that they will expand as they get a feel for how many viewers are tuning in! I’m sure it will all be tesolved! My opinion. : )

LOVE you for this, Michael. Thank you so much.

does spotflux actaully work for hulu
im canadian and i wanna watch all my children sooo bad !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

actually **** lol

i want todd and john back on g.h. sorry guys pp scewed us once they will again

I think you mean, ABC screwed us. At least PP is bringing the shows back…. ABC still won’t admit their wrong doing.

TRUE ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

No PP Screwed us!!! Not ABC this time. The fan club president sent out an email with a statement from press that ABC did everything they could to share the characters and PP would not budge. ABC still screwed us but in think this one is on PP

no, PP was willing to share. ABC decided to stop trying to work something out, this is on them.

Agree ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Todd may still come bak Kristen has to give up the character she grew up playing because this stupid company is made up of arrogant jerks and wont let her go. I think its great she refuses to go on the new OLTL too

it took todd and john together to try to make up for losing 1 Jason!!!

I wanted to replicate the network viewing experience as much as possible, so I have Hulu Plus and made sure I could access it from both my living room and bedroom TVs. One was already Internet-ready, and for the other I added an Internet streaming player. Now I’m impatiently waiting for solid AMC scoopage, hoping PP also scores a cable deal so I’ll be able to record and archive AMC scenes I want to keep, as I’d done in the past!

I have never used Hulu before, first of all, is it free? Secondly, will I be able to watch AMC and OLTL at ANY time of the day that I choose? What if I miss say, Monday’s show, will it still be on Hulu later in the week? Thank you

I have HULU Plus and to answer your question….Yes, you can watch the episodes any time of the day that you choose, and yes the episodes are available later in the week. Now, I’m not for sure how long Hulu will archive episodes before they remove them from the available listing of shows to watch…I know that the Network shows that I watch on Hulu right now, keep the entire season archived, so I can watch them any time I want…but I know that soaps have ongoing episodes, so I’m not for sure how long they will be available. I love Hulu though. You can watch as many times as you want and any time that you want.

I have used HuLu Plus for a very long time..

The week, Monday through Friday, and only that one week of the soaps is held..
You can watch daily or the week, Monday through Sunday, only.
Then the next week will be held to view for that week
again; that is true for both the FREE and PAY Hulu..

Other TV shows do hold entire seasons, however, not the soaps.

The soaps are on everyday and it would storage kill HuLu to archive more than a week..

Yes, Rosie!! Hulu is free!! From your computer, go to hulu.com/allmychildren!! Someone said upper right corner is the place to click to sign up!! There is a Hulu Plus that costs $7.99 a month but this is for your mobile devices or your tv if you stream via wifi and roku (or some such device) which allows wireless access to your tv!! I have this set up because I choose to watch on my tv so that I can still play on my computer while I’m watching!! LOL, enjoy!! It really isn’t as complicated as it sounds!!

I still get soapnet, and i hope they will eventually show repeats of both shows. I cant get hulu, and i cant afford to pay for it…i have to many bills…may PP could also offer them on dvd?

Regular hulu on your computer is free. It is only Hulu Plus that has a fee.

LOL ..
People have been told a million times that;

HuLu by PC is FREE
lets call it Regular HuLu ) it needs no subscriptions it is free, but can only be watch on your PC ..

HuLu Plus is 7.99 a month and is available on ”all” other intent devices/not just on your computer ..

Both.. Hulu and HuLu Plus hold the week of the soaps (Mon-Fri)
You have from Monday to Sunday to what them..

After that Sunday, the next week will be held for that week..

Hope that helps ..

Thanks 4 the reply but i meant two different things when i said’ I cant get hulu, and i cant afford to pay for it'(i didnt mean hulu which i knew was free; it was meant to mean i cant afford OLTL the other ways such as huluplus ect.) but after reading my comment i see how that could confuse someone so thats my error…

To confirm what suOOOO has already said about Hulu (free). I e-mailed Hulu on
3/21 about this and this is their reply:Thanks for writing in. The good news is
that One Life To Live will be available for both Hulu & Hulu plus. That means
that you’ll be able to view the show on your computer WITHOUT subsrcription to
hulu plus. I hope this helps. Happy viewing! Thanks Dom T. Hulu Support.
Can’t wait to see Viki & Dorian fighting with each other over some disagreement
they have! Cat Fight! Bo & Nora dancing and eating burgers & fries !

Since OLTL and AMC are only half hour and are online exclusives, I think Hulu may leave more than just one week access of past shows. Storage space is not the issue, it’s how long the owners of the content want it available on Hulu.

i still have soap net too but don’t think amc & oltl will be on soapnet – remember soapnet is owned by abc………………

A.B.C. DUMB… makes me wonder why abc reruns amc&oltl…its kinda like their giving pp free publicicity and they dont even know it or they are hoping pp revivals will give them some much needed publiclicity so theyll continue to take advantage of the situation and air the reruns.(maybe abc has regrets: 2 late!) Now that pp owns the show maybe they should remove the reruns and air them theirselves unless they think soapnet airing the reruns will generate more ratings for them? In any case thanks 4 the reply

Thank you, Ethel!!! Finally, someone gets that!!!

michael fairman you rule my friend. you always give us the scoop on our soaps. we all love you from vancouver bc canada. looking forward to one life to live on april 29. they need to bring back sexy foxy roxy. ilene needs to come back now. please producers from one life to live bring back roxy.

You cant watch from canada so no point in any of this

Yes you can, as others have said just get a US IP proxy.

can they not get it from itunes?

I’m in the US but still trying to figure out I’ll watch (for free) I thought I’d use Hulu.com (free version) with some handheld device (which I’d have to buy), but read above that that won’t work – only desktop computer (I have a couple of those) with hi-speed internet (which I don’t have.

arg!

thats such a waste to find a proxy why would i go thru all that for one show that producers want to do well and should make available to other countries without the hassle i use to watch on ABC on my tv before a major network. PP should have thout ahead not done online junk

Is HULU PLUS available to Canadians? If that’s the one you pay for, can a Canadian (or anyone else international) hook up with that and get to watch the eps?

No us is canada cant watch and its such a stupid pain to go find a good proxy thats free and works. I hope these shows fail and teach them a lesson about their stupid online crap

Maybe your energy would be better spent writing to Canadian providers and asking them to pick up the shows?

Exactly!!

Yes, exactly!!! It’s my understanding that Canadian PTB are the ones throwing the proverbial wrench in the works!!! Poor PP!!! Getting a bad rap I think!!!

With JWOW being added to the cast as a recurring character the new OLTL will be nothing like the OLTL fans loved & wanted to come back. The new cast is targeting a younger audience. OLTL is going to be an over sexed version of what it once was. I wish it never would have come back, & John, Star, & Todd could have at least been left alone & could have remained on GH. I won’t be watching either show, Ill stick with GH.

Over sexed? It hasn’t even sired yet, you prude. How do you know? And who cares? It’s online. If you see ass and a nipple or two, trust me–YOU WON’T BURST INTO FLAME. stick with GH then!

If attracting a younger tech-savvy audience it can only help ournumbers to continue to keep the shows alive. Look, she’s not taking over the role of Viki or Dorian; she’s a recurring character. And remember the flap that one Kardashian sister created? Everyone was upset.
Tough it out. We have One Life to Live back!

Until OLTL airs and has been watched for awhile to actually see what it will offer us, you know nothing, nothing at all as what it will be or not be..
perhaps if you watch it before you judge it, that would be good 🙂

Well I will be watching OLTL… OLTL has a little bit of everything to target the young
& for us that have been watching OLTL for a long time. I don’t agree that it will be
over sexed ..It never seemed that way to me…I am happy OLTL is back! You will
be missing something special! Such as Viki,Clint,Dorian,Blair,Natalie,Nora,Bo Etc…. There had to be some new faces. Who knows fans might like the new additions. There are a lot of OLTL fans that will be watching! Don’t miss out !

And Roxy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also if you happen to have an AppleTV device, it comes with Hulu Plus installed so you can access your account and watch the stories (plus tons more shows) as if they really were on television if you need to get away from the computer.

I thought there was going to be a fee to watch these shows and they were going to be on a special online site. Guess I missed something. But good that it’s free.

Very excited. But it’s really lame that you have to buy the episodes on ITunes. That’s just ridiculous. Thank god I have Hulu & Hulu Plus which I realize I pay for the plus but it’s so much more than just episodes of soaps.

To the person that said they will not watch AMC because it looks like a teenager show. Yes, they wan t to get a younger audience but
i do not think it is a teen show. Anchored by Jill Larsen, Julia Barr, Cady McClain, VIncent Irrizarry and others. The younger audience is what is bringing people to the web, so they need some of that to grab them. I also do not like watching shows on my computer, but I do it now and it is no big deal. Yes, I would prefer on my tv, and if the show grabs me then I will get a Roku device but until then, things will left to be determined.

I watched the original All My Children from day #-1 . Would set my VCR, if I was going to miss it. Would get upset when characters I liked died … etc … and I could always catch an episode on the Soap network …. Loved it .
Now; I have to “Subscribe” to Hulu PLus if I want to watch on TV …. might have to give u[p Netflix … Wish it was back on the Soap Channel/Network whatever it is called , again.

I just can’t wait to be in Llanview again!!!

I can’t wait to watch OLTL again. And while I wasn’t a big fan of AMC, I’m going to watch it as well. I’ll do my part to make this venture a success.

I’m glad the confusion is cleared up about Hulu. As of now, I’ll be watching the shows for free on the regular Hulu. When I can afford it I’ll buy one of the Roku boxes so I can upgrade to Hulu Plus and watch it on my TV.

Long live Llanview and Pine Valley!

the promos for the on line show look very sexed up, so will be different from what we saw on the telly for the past 40+ yrs… but different may not be bad. i will try it and make a decision about it later. new way to view a beloved soaps that i started watching in my teens which was sometimes considered to be sexy back then!

I’ve been watching those 2 shows for as long as i can remember….how my mom cried when there was fire and I came home to my mom crying and asked her whats wrong and she said John burnt in a fire and i freaked out because we have John in our family…and then she told me no John on All My Children but i cant remeber his last name and ever since then i have watched All My Children

I am really excited for the return of All my children and One life to live. I have been watching them since the beginning. I have really missed my soaps. Looking forward to April 29.

do we have to pay to watch??

Hi Debbie –

Nope! Free free free! But you can pay for HULU Plus. 29 days!

Out of tge 3 formats, it appears you have to pay for hulu plus and itunes….correct?

I have heard that HuluPlus & Hulu will only let your the most recent 4 shows. Is this true?

Will you be able to purchase a season’s pass on iTunes? If you purchase through iTunes, will you own it forever? Will it be in HD? Most apps I stream from iPad to iTV aren’t HD. Maybe if I watch directly from iTV instead of AirPlay it will be HD? Lots of questions.

Sorry. Let you see the 4 most recent. Damn iPad autocorrect!

What time do the soaps start on the 29th of April?

use http://www.spotflux.com/ it’s a safe & free VPN lets you get shows in US

Yes, you can get Hulu free but, I think you have to make sure you have a higher internet speed to get it. I am going to check with my ISP.

IS AMC AND OLTL GOING TO BE BACK ON TV JUST LIKE BEFORE
ON CHANNEL7 AT 12 PM ?

ABC is the one you should blame for everything. ABC cancelled our soaps. PP is working very hard to get our soaps back on the air. For those of you in Canada, I hope you get to see them soon.

ABC may end up being the only one to bring AMC &OLTL to cable. They own SoapNet, afterall.

And thats so ironic…they carrry reruns of the network episodes which is good publicity 4 PP…new fans watching those might start watching the reboot!

The only time I will be able to watch will be right before I go to bed….in bed on my ipad. So, it won’t be free to me? I thought hulu plus was the only format I was going to have to pay for but now iTunes is fee-based as well? A bit disappointed since I won’t get my daily viewing. Or, am I wrong on what device will have the free service?

Debbi, Hulu.com on your regular computer is free! Mobile devices like phone, TV, tablets, etc have to have huluPlus.com which costs $7.99/mon!!! iTunes is a per episode cost!!!

PP cares about the fans….I read that they are looking to find a way for Canadians to watch the shows too. Also what’s wrong with adding a few new people…..there are still plenty of former castmembers on board to keep things familiar. I’m really happy to have OLTL & AMC back & can’t wait to see them again!

I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WILL I BE ABLE TO WATCH ALL MY CHILDREN AND ONE LIFE TO LIVE ON MY SMART TV IF I SUBSCRIBE TO HULU.COM

when I go to the web site you have there
http://www.hulu.com/all-my-children there is no place to see it for free on Hulu
you have to buy hulu plus to see it .

What device are you going to the site on? Regular computer is the only one that Hulu will recognize as being eligible for the free Hulu!! Upper left corner of the cast pic, click on the Hulu logo!

I am a big fan of both those soaps. Here’s the bad part, I live in Canada so I am not able to enjoy the soaps over Hulu. Is there anything I can do besides buy each episode on itunes? I’m excited but, the excitement has dimmed because I actually won’t be able to be apart of the return of these soaps. 🙁

If you want to watch from Canada go to http://hola.org/ install for firefox. It installs as an add on. Go to Hulu and enjoy.

I am having problems viewing All My Children on Hulu. Both episodes 2 and 4 only played half way through and then a black screen popped up following the second set of ads. The show would not continue from where it left off in either episode. Anyone else having issues? Epsode 3 played the best. It allowed a choice of viewing one prolonged ad at the start of the episode and no further interruption. Why can’t all the episodes have that option?

Canadian viewers – by now you may have heard. The cable channel FX Canada is airing AMC and OLTL weekdays. So, if your cable system has this channel you can tape it/pvr it just like any other t.v. show. I have never watched OLTL but was a bit familiar with some characters. Am enjoying thus far. Also, on Sat and Sunday, FX Canada replays the entire weeks episodes in a block. For more info do a google search for FX Canada.

Mark Consuelos Celebrates One-Year Anniversary as Co-Host of ‘Live’ Alongside Kelly Ripa

Today, April 17th marks a full-year since Mark Consuelos (ex-Mateo, All My Children) took over the co-hosting duties of ‘Live” alongside his wife, and longtime co-host, Kelly Ripa (ex-Hayley, All My Children).

Consuelos replaced Ryan Seacrest who are six seasons decided to be back on the west coast full-time. For Consuelos, now having the opportunity to work off of Ripa as co-hosts has been something of adjustment for him, but viewers have been eating it up.

Live with Kelly and Mark has remained the No. 1 entertainment talk show on television over the past year, growing 3% in average total viewers to 2.23M per episode.  It is also the most-watched daytime talk show in the last year in key demos of women 18-49 and women 25-54. All of this, since the real-life marrieds teamed-up.

Photo: ABC

Speaking with Deadline, Kelly Ripa shared why the two are gelling on-screen, “I do think that there is something very possibly relatable about our relationship. We have disagreements like a normal couple, and we’re not afraid to let them unfold on the air and in front of America, and I think people find a lot of themselves in that.”

Mark weighed in how he has progressed as a host, and what he could improve at, sharing, “I’d like to get better at my interviewing skills. I’d like to get better at reading a teleprompter…I think I’m getting better at throwing to commercial. The other day in the middle of the show as we go to commercial, my sign off was ‘See you guys around.’ I mean, the show wasn’t over. The most obvious thing to say would be, ‘We’ll be back right after this.’ But I just said, ‘See you around.’ So we went to commercial and one of the producers (goes) ‘What was that?’ I don’t know… So for the next few sign offs, as a joke, I’d say ‘See you around.’ We got a kick out of it.”

Photo: ABC

Meanwhile, Kelly has given huge props to Mark, “I find Mark utterly compelling, really interesting, super funny, and he’s bold in a way like nobody else. He says what’s on his mind. If he’s thinking it, he says it.  I’ve done this a long time and oftentimes people will adjust their natural personalities to pander to what they think the audience wants to hear, and Mark will tell people what he thinks, and he doesn’t care if it’s not a popular opinion. It gives him an edginess that I think is really missing in the landscape today. Everybody’s so afraid to say anything, and Mark is unafraid to say exactly what he’s thinking.”

In a statement, Debra O’Connell, President News Group and Networks, Disney Entertainment shared, We could not be more thrilled with how Mark has seamlessly joined the show family as permanent co-host. His undeniable charisma and his and Kelly’s natural chemistry are evident as they deliver the laughs and smiles to our viewers each morning. We are incredibly proud of how Live has continued to evolve and that the audience is responding so enthusiastically.”

So, do you think Mark Consuelos is the best co-host his wife Kelly Ripa has ever had on ‘Live’? How would you say he is doing as co-host after one full year on the job? Comment below.
