I dont get that channel…wish Days was more Holiday themed this week…the 50th Anniversary-where did it go-i blinked at it was gone!!!…It shouldve had more flashbacks and brief visits from characters from the 60s to the present…it just lacked…the best part was the return of some vets… Will and Paige shouldve never been killed off…im giving it a c- for the 50th but Days is the most improved soap and im enjoying it again!!!

Patrick, Abby is in her twenties. No way is she menopausal. I know you misspoke. I believe you mean post-partum. Perhaps she is suffering from post-partum depression. You make a good, valid point. Also, how coincidental is breaking the same window as her brother? Insanity does run in the family, lol.

This is excellent news. I met Jen at a DOOL book signing and she was very kind and beyond gorgeous. I love her character now that she is so more layers and has rooting value. Congrats on the success of the record!

A month before its 5th season is set to bow, Queen Sugar has been renewed for its sixth season by OWN as it was announced on Thursday.  The first of its 10 episode season will drop on February 16th.

Set in rural Louisiana and the fictional community of St. Josephine, the series focuses on the trio of Bordelon siblings, played by Dawn-Lyen Gardner, Rutina Wesley and Kofi Siriboe, and their extended family.  Days of our Lives favorite, Greg Vaughan (Ex-Eric), has been previously recurring on the show in the role of Calvin.

Queen Sugar creator Ava DuVernay said of the pick-up to Deadline: “What a joy and an honor to continue the stories of Queen Sugar.  On behalf of every producer, editor, costumer, grip, writer, cast member and all departments involved in making this series, we’re delighted to delve into a sixth season and to bring our beautiful audience more of the Bordelon family.”

After having to shut down production due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it gave DuVernay time to retool the series remaining season episode and to incorporate the pandemic, and the Black Lives Matter protests of last summer and the general election. Production on Season 5 of the series did not begin until September of last year and ran till December 2020.
