Hard to believe Turkey Day is almost upon us, and the CBS Daytime soaps will certainly have some dysfunctional Thanksgiving familial dinners with all the trimmings!

On The Young and the Restless, Thanksgiving comes to Genoa City on the Wednesday, November 26th episode when  Victor Newman (Eric Braden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) host Thanksgiving dinner for friends, family and a few unexpected guests at the Newman Ranch.  Meanwhile, the rest of the Newman family are at an  important crossroads as Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) finds himself in a life altering predicament,  Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) decides to find out who her baby’s father is and Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) prepares to reclaim his life under a new identity.  Across town, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and his fiancée Phyllis Newman (Gina Tognoni) spend Thanksgiving making up for lost time after she spent the last year in a coma.  Will Phyllis finally get the happy ending she’s been waiting for?

On The Bold and the Beautiful look for the Wednesday November 26th episode to brings the Forresters, Logans and Spencers together at the Forrester Mansion for a Thanksgiving Day filled with food, forgiveness and gratitude on Pam Douglas (Alley Mills) and Charlie Baker (Dick Christie) prepare the perfect meal for the group and as everyone settles in, Hope Logan (Kim Matula) announces that they will be continuing the tradition of putting their conflict aside, whether it is in love, business or family, she implores them to say something kind to the person next to them. For a moment in time it seems that all is right in the world, but for two people, we see that the feelings that they have for each other are still undeniable.

So how do you think these families Thanksgiving gatherings will go down? What would you like to see happen?  Food fights? Smooches? Revelations? Comment below!

On B&B, I’ll love Thanksgiving if Caroline and Ridge are fighting their feelings for each other. They have amazing chemistry.

Y&R is on a good run right now with their stories…LOVE Phyllis…she is as fierce as ever… this Kelly is no match for her in any way! Love lives are turned upside down….we will see how that plays out over the next few months… Honestly…. I could not care less about B&B as they have killed the show for me. Wyatt and Quinn are at least interesting to watch. Hope turns my stomach…not sure what the intent is on the part of the writers but I get why the actress has thrown in the towel. Ridge and Caroline are just… Read more »

Gloria is a trip, for sure. She’s one of the best out there in soapland.
The most significant surprise in Genoa City for Thanksgiving? Methinks Sharon is pregnant.

Last years B&B thanksgiving episode was just incredible heather tom just nailed it and I’m not a big fan of hers at least not until then. It was like you were really sitting at table with them.
Just incredible.

I honestly would like to see one day of peace, because they spend the majority of the year , drowning in drama, so it would be nice to see them thankful for their blessings. I would like to see the Newman’s invite Stitch and Kelly to Thanksgiving and stop calling Stitch a murderer.

I will be thankful if on the actual Thanksgiving holiday Y&R showed one of their classic shows– it is always a treat to see an episode from ten or so years ago– one that might have Jeanne Cooper in it– those classic shows are usually far better than anything they are doing right now—

As for B&B I usually skip their Thanksgiving episode– a bunch of dysfunctional people getting together pretending for one day to get along, while behind the scenes there is nothing but drama– reminds me too much of my family during the holidays– LOL.

I hope someone throws the turkey at Nick. He’s nothing but a spoiled little brat acting like his daddy. As for Summers daddy when she finally found out she went to his place (tack-house) hugged him and left. Wow she really is in misery. Does anyone out there remember the Christmas’s at the ranch? The beautiful tree & Victor always arranged a sleigh ride. The Abbott’s had a beautiful tree in their living room & they all got together it was just beautiful. Maybe we’ll get lucky and Nick & Avery will get back together for Christmas and take Summer… Read more »

BTW Nick your darling little daughter is alive because of Sharon. Sharon found her at the bottom of the stairs & called the ambulance. Sharon also saved her sorry butt when she was freezing modelling & had the camera fellow fired. It was Sharon’s idea to have Summer in her wedding. So think about that before your next temper tantrum. I want to see Sharon with Dylan but only after Nick begs Sharon to come back to him.

I do agree with you, Nikki. However, Nick is lashing out because he is hurt. He feels that he has been duped…hard pill for a man with pride to swallow.
I think he still loves Sharon, but because of his anger, he is blind to that fact.
But, that’s neither here nor there…I just can’t stand it when Nick, among many others, act holier-than-thou, or call the kettle black. Every character has done something unimaginable and despicable….so, Nick should look in the mirror before pointing fingers.

Nick has been the trigger of many of Sharon’s eposodes..

Sharon was the one who did help Summer and the other models, they were being abused ,Sharon stopped it ,than became their advocate,Sharon cared ,it wasn’t that she wanted to be rid of Summer ,she just wanted it to be like it was before Cassie died and before Phylass seduced Nick.when she needed him when Cassie died,

I wish the writers could come up with a better storyline for Niki rather than she drinks-she’s on the wagon – she’s drinking again – she’s on the wagon again – she’s drinking again . . . Good Grief – Get that woman a job! Victor’s just plain Victor can’t live with him but harder without him. Chelsea is great! Victoria is carrying this thing with two daddies a tad to far. PICK ONE ALREADY! And for crying out loud get Adam back there. The writers should tune into General Hospital and see how to move a story along. I… Read more »
