One Life to Live’s Ilene Kristen (Roxy) is this week’s special guest star in the next installment of Gregori J. Martin’s prequel to The Bay...Far From The Bay.  Kristen debuts as Liza Garrett ( Sara’s aunt) who runs into amnesiac Peter on the streets of New York City. As Liza pours her heart out to Peter, and gives the audience at home the backstory of her character, Peter (played by Kristos Andrews) registers no recognition of what she is talking about, or who she is.

Ilene Kristen reminds us once again why she is one of soap operas greatest treasures giving another solid performance with many levels and emotions.

Now, watch the new webisode of Far From The Bay after the jump! And, let us know if you are digging the new web series.

Another great webisode! I love Ileen and Michael O’Leary! Having these seasoned soap stars not only helps to mentor those just starting in the business, they also bring quality to the show! Fabulous casting Gregori! Loving the history lesson about Peter! Kristos is making the character his own!

I think the casting of the webisodes is really good. These guests are shining, and I mean bright. I especially thought Ilene was just … well, so Ilene. Crazy good. She can be counted on pretty much no matter what she’s cast in, it seems. I hope to see her in the actual Bay webisodes, too! She could really do well in scenes with MBE’s Sarah. Teriffic casting there. I hated that abusive father — so, good casting there, too, effective! Again, all of these guests, inlcuding the little boy, were spot on. The edginess to the cinematography had kind… Read more »
