Ingo Rademacher Offers Up Apology to GH Castmate and Trans Actress, Cassandra James

While it appears that Ingo Rademacher is no longer a cast member at General Hospital, (although unconfirmed by the show at this point) the actor took to his Instagram Monday morning to confront the social media firestorm at him for his reposting of podcaster’s Allie Beth Stuckley’s message on his Instagram Story.

In it, as previously reported, it included an image of trans woman, Rachel Levine, the U.S. assistant secretary for health, in which Stuckley labeled Levine a “dude”.

In his new video message, Ingo shares that he should have crossed-out the word “dude” on Stuckley’s post when referring to Levine, and that he originally posted the image it to call out the hypocrisy of the Left Wing media.

Stuckley’s post had made fun at Levine that she could be considered “an empowering woman” alongside an image of Virginia’s newly-elected Republican lieutenant governor, Winsome Sears, who is black, and could be called a “white supremacist,” since she was seen in the image holding a rifle.

Rademacher shared that his point of posting it was that he didn’t think it was okay to, “call a transgender an empowered woman because where does that leave women?”

Photo: ABC

Next, he said he wanted to apologize to GH transgender actress, Cassandra James, who fired back at Rademacher on Sunday and since that time has seen strong support on social media from her GH co-stars.

Ingo expressed: “Cassandra, I apologize to you sincerely. I think you’re an absolute talent and you’re very beautiful as well. I don’t think a transphobic man would say that. I think you’re absolutely gorgeous, I really do.”

Towards the end of his video post, Ingo said that he and his wife let their then 3-year-old son don a Disney Princess dress, “because he wanted to look pretty.” He added, ” I don’t think a transphobic dad would buy his son a Disney princess dress.”

As to his status with General Hospital, Rademacher shared that he would soon comment on that situation, but could not do it at the moment.

So, what do you think of Ingo’s apology to Cassandra? Share your thoughts, but first check out his video message, below and the original post from Allie Stuckley below it.

Quit defending yourself! Call it like itvis and stand strong !

“Quit defending yourself?” The guy’s an ignorant ass who shared a post to denigrate, humiliate, and imply that a human being, Dr. Rachel Levine, wasn’t a woman. Dr. Levine is an American pediatrician, and a four-star admiral in the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, who has been the United States assistant secretary for health since March 26, 2021. She is a professor of pediatrics and psychiatry at the Penn State..there are more credentials but I made my point. She has contributed more to this country and has more intelligence in one finger than any right wing GOP bigot which includes Ingo. And the IRONY is that he called GH viewers “bigots” for being against his anti-vax position. The man needs a dictionary; a bigot is someone who exhibits the behavior and opinion he displayed in that transphobic post, not someone who criticize others for their stand on vaccines.

You nailed it, Rebecca! Thank you for your post.

I’m all over it, Jamesj. I have zero tolerance for ignorance.

I think Ingo is going to get pretty darn tired from all the back peddling. Too little too late.

When people show you who they are, believe them the first time.

He owes no one an apology for that post!! The point is to call out the hypocrisy of the public. And this post perfectly illustrates that!

How does this make it any better?

STEVE BURTON’ – MUST be Fired – you can’t have one without the other – PERIOD

If Steve Burton made idiotic bigoted statements like Ingo did, he would probably be gone too. I haven’t heard anything that would indicate that’s the case.

Ingo wasn’t fired for his comments; he was let go for not getting the vaccine. GH has a mandate. Any actor not vaccinated is gone…unless GH is allowing a medical exemption. Dunno…

Nancy Lee Grahn is nothing but a hypocrite. She totally supports abortion, with its MY BODY MY CHOICE slogan.

So why does MY BODY MY CHOICE not apply in her logic when people want to choose what goes into their bodies?? She can’t have it both ways!!

Forcing a medical procedure …. ANY medical procedure … onto someone is assault and rape! Without medical consent, there is no freedom! The Nuremberg Trials after World War 2 have made it LAW for the ages that no forced medical procedures would ever be done to people again. Apparently Nancy disagrees with that decision!!

I hope Ingo and Steve and others DO leave and stick to their beliefs in medical choice and freedom! Nancy needs to go! Her beliefs in forcing medical procedures onto unwilling people are disgusting, sickening, and wrong! I hope the GH cast is completely gutted and decimated by actors leaving in protest!

Every few years her controversial rantings on social media stir up unnecessary trouble for people, and she never faces any consequences! I have LOVED her acting since Santa Barbara, and she should stick to acting instead of her dime store political views.

Your logic is flawed. Covid is contagious, pregnancy is not. Whether you chose to get an abortion or not, my health is not affected. If you are not vaccinated, you can pass it to me. I’m vaccinated, so I won’t die if I catch it from you. My elderly mother or immune-compromised neighbor my not be so lucky. If either of them dies, their death is on your hands.

The issue is Medical Freedom of choice! Forcing medical procedures onto people against their consent is rape, assault, and illegal. What an utterly SRUPID statement … covid is contagious … pregnancy is not! Rape and Assault are not contagious either!

MY BODY MY CHOICE … you CANNOT support that for one medical procedure and deny it for another medical procedure. If you do that you are a hypocrite and your arguments and statements have no merit.

No one’s forcing anyone. The choice is simple, you can get vaccinated and remain on contract. If you choose not to vaccinate, your contract has ended. ABC/Disney has the right to determine who can appear in their productions.

I completely agree, Steve!

So … forcing.

Lmfao! The way you people can rationalize and twist things to suit what you need them to be is astonishing!!

You all should be gymnasts and contortionists!!

JJ -please try to process this! Nancy’s MY BODY MY CHOICE does not (underlined three times) endanger the health of those people she comes into contact with. Ingo was told that getting vaccinated is a condition of his continued employment on GH. The man chose not to be vaccinated so he was fired. There is not one rule for Ingo and another rule for the other cast members.

The situation surrounding Melissa Reeves and others has proven that no actor is absolutely necessary and cannot be replaced. For every actor fired from GH there will be willing actors to take over the role/roles. As for the rest of your post- idiotic nonsense!

You are not a nice person. There are lawsuits happening all over the world that you know nothing about because mainstream tv does not tell you this, and that’s where you get all your “information” from.

Countless businesses and governments have been successfully sued and criminally charged for attempting to impose vaccinations on employees. It’s illegal. End of story. No ifs or ands. It’s illegal! Look it up!

The Nuremberg Code makes it illegal, the Constitution makes it illegal, the Criminal Code makes it illegal. If you like to live in fantasy land where murdering children is cool, and forcing mystery poison jabs into people is swell, go ahead! Morality and the law do not back you up!

JJ – What is happening here has nothing, repeat nothing, to do with Nuremberg. STOP comparing COVID-19 vaccinations with the Holocaust. Trust me when I tell you, some family members of people who died in the Holocaust are both angered and insulted by this comparison. I am one of those family members.

I suggest you study California law! GH (ABC) is allowed to set the terms under which an actor can continue being employed.

First of all, stop the hideous comparisons of ANYTHING to do with Nazi Germany and the Holocaust to a contagious VIRUS and VACCINES TO SAVE PEOPLE. There is zero comparison and the idiocy of the conspiracy theorists and lunatics who keep trying to make any type of analogy to support their ignorance has got to stop.

Educate yourself. The Nuremburg Trials were to bring Nazi criminals to justice for their satanic crimes. The Nuremburg code was about medical experimentation….taking Holocaust prisoners and literally lying them down, strapping them and performing all types of hideous experiments on them to support their ideological view of racial superiority.

As for the apology, as Johnny Mathis & Denise Williams sang “Too Much, Too Little, Too Late.”

Another example of people spending too much time on social media. Read a book; it’s a lot safer and it’s better for you.

Right? Lol. Good post!!

JJ-get the message? In your case STOP paying attention to idiotic conspiracy theories surrounding COVID-19 and listen to the real life medical experts who actually graduated from reputable medical schools.

Just for the record … the dude on the left is a dude on the left! Sad sad times when telling truth gets people fired! Come on Ingo! I get that the dressing your son up as a Disney princess was a last ditch attempt to not be fired, but it took away a lot of your manhood! You don’t need a job that bad where you have to grovel and pretend that your son wants to be a Disney Princess. Hopefully now that you have been fired, and it’s a done deal, you won’t ever say things like that about your son! Saying things like that with a child in the public eye is a pedophile’s dream!! Don’t make your child a target!!

It must be sad to live a sheltered life and not experience the wonderful diversity in this world.

Ingo did not get dropped from GH because of what he said, he was let go weeks before due to not following the health protocols.

The person on the left is not a dude. Who are you to judge how someone identifies themselves?

The inference that hearing a boy once dressed as a princess means he’s anymore prey to pedophiles is ridiculous.

JJ – What part of “Ingo was fired because he REFUSED to follow established Covid-19 vaccination protocol” do you NOT understand? Ingo was on his way out the door BEFORE he made the unkind and insensitive comment directed towards Dr Levine.

Every individual is ALLOWED to live his/her/their authentic life. Your permission is not required. Get this straight, when an individual comes out as transgender it is NOT all about you and what you think.

More to the point, why the H did this site feel it was necessary to repost that ignorant message from Stuckey? I really didn’t need or want to see that trash talk. I think that was in poor taste.
Ingo’s defense is very thin IMO. In this day and age, anyone should know better than to post something on social media that is so indefensible.
I’m from PA and very proud of Dr. Levine. She’s is a wonderful woman; a great example for all.
Both Stuckey and Rademacher could have found a better way of saying what they wanted to without slamming someone personally.

Dr Levine should be admired for her dedication to the care and welfare of American children. Dr Levine is also a four star Admiral in the United States Public Health Commissioned Corps, an honor that has to be earned.

‘General Hospital’s’ Steve Burton Shares Reaction to His Lead Actor Daytime Emmy Nomination, ‘It Was to Honor Leslie Charleson’

Published

The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations kicked-off on Monday with the announcements of four major categories including, Outstanding Lead Performer in a Daytime Drama Series — Actor, and among the nominees is General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan).

Burton is already a two-time Daytime Emmy winner in the Supporting Actor category for his roles as GH’s Jason and his turn as Dylan McAvoy on Y&R. However, Steve is yet to win in the Lead Actor category and he has received 11 nominations along the way in his daytime career.

Following the reveal that he is a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee, he and his GH co-star, podcast co-host and comedy show partner, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) taped a special edition of their That’s Awesome podcast just featuring Burton’s reaction to the news.

Photo: JPI

FOR LESLIE CHARLESON

Steve expressed, “I know it’s such a cliche to say, ‘I’m just so honored to be nominated.’ But truly, I’m so grateful to be nominated, so grateful to just be on the show off and on for 30 plus years and to be nominated with the guys in my category. Just to get the opportunity. Frank (Valentini, executive producer, GH) texted me right away. I was just like, ‘Thank you for the opportunity to get to do what I do.'”

Taking in the moment, Burton thanked those who helped him select the material for his nominated reel. “Unless you win, you don’t get to say things. So. I’m going just say a few things: Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) helped me a lot with the material, (as did) Michelle Henry, who’s a producer on the show, Laura Wright (Carly, GH), and then my wife Michelle (Lundstrom). I believe it was Jill Phelps who told me that when A Martinez felt like he had a great show or great scenes, he would mark it down. So, when Emmy time comes, you have all the show numbers written down, and you don’t have to think about it, because that’s half the battle (finding the material).

Burton explained how meaningful this nomination is for him, because of playing the scenes of Jason losing Monica, and his closeness with the late, great Leslie Charleson.

“The nomination’s an amazing thing, and it’s beautiful, but really it’s to honor Leslie Charleson. A lot of my material was because of her, and how I started on the show as a Quartermaine, it just means a ton,” shared Burton. “Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) has obviously has been instrumental, and I’ve said it from day one and I’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here, and to be working with the people that we work with is incredible.”

SHOULD JOHN OLIVER BE NAMED HOST OF THE DAYTIME EMMYS?

During the end of his conversation with Anderson, Steve suggested that the host of the Daytime Emmy should be Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver, who recently guest starred as the head of the WSB named Z on General Hospital, and is soon to show up on Days of Our Lives in a mystery role in August.

Thus far, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has not revealed their host for the upcoming ceremony to be held on October 30 in a venue to be named in Hollywood, California.

You can watch Steve sharing his reaction to receiving his 2026 Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nomination below on a special segment on the That’s Awesome podcast.

Now let us know, are you glad that Steve chose scenes surrounding Jason mourning the loss of the woman that raised him, Monica Quartermaine for his Emmy reel? What do you think of John Oliver as a suggestion to host the Daytime Emmys? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Jason Reconnects with Danny; Tristan Roberts Arrives in Port Charles, Lots of Nods to #16

Published

on

By

General Hospital’s 16,000th episode was packed with little reminders through points in today’s script that the ABC daytime drama series has set another milestone and it paved the way for the return of fan favorite and newly nominated Daytime Emmy Lead Actor nominee Steve Burton (Jason Morgan). The 16,000th episode also introduced viewers to the new surgeon in Port Charles Dr. Tristan Roberts played by Dean Geyer.

Here are the key takeaways and what went down on the July 13 episode: Tristan and Jason are seated next to each other on a plane heading to Port Charles. Throughout the flight, a beaten up Jason has flashbacks to being thrown into, and being held captive in a cell and tortured. It appears Jason is suffering from some form of PTSD from what he was put through after being dragged out of Port Charles by the WSB months ago.

As the plane prepares to land, Tristan tells Jason there would be a car waiting for him once they land and to enjoy the rest of his life. Later, Tristan arrives at the nurses and doctors hub at GH and approaches Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). He tells her his name and that he is the new surgeon on staff.

A REUNION PLUS A HEAD NURSE DEFENDS SONNY

Meanwhile, at the end of the episode, Jason is outside the Quartermaine boathouse looking bewildered when he runs into Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), who is so thrilled to see his father, and the two hugs each other as tears are shed.

Elsewhere, Elizabeth tells Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he thinks its a great idea for him to get the 16th seat on the hospital board, but when it comes times to convince Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) of that, things go awry when Tracy, Laura and Sonny try to work things out. After Tracy launches into Sonny about killing Alan and Monica’s son AJ, Sonny walks away dejected.

Next, Sonny runs into Elizabeth, where he informs her what happened with Tracy. So what’s a head nurse to do? Elizabeth marches into the conference room and reminds Tracy of all the different donations and ways Sonny has contributed to the hospital from the Stone Cates AIDS wing, to the Michael Corinthos Center for Pediatric Head Injuries as well as his constant support each year for the GH Nurses’ Ball.

WSB WAR SCARS

Then, in one of the best parts for longtime fans of the series, Elizabeth talks about her legendary grandparents, Audrey and Steve Hardy and she tells Tracy they would have wanted Sonny to have a seat on the board for all the good that he has done for the hospital. After Elizabeth states Sonny’s case, things took a turn and Tracy and Sonny wound up shaking hands as Sonny is board member #16.

In the how great was it to see Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) together scenes department, the pick-up of last Friday’s cliffhanger is played out as the two former lovers fill each other in on what has gone down in their lives in the last several months including Valentin admitting he had been living in Carly’s attic, and Anna realizing she was kidnapped by Cullum, Sidwell and Cassius Faison. During their conversation, Anna sees the hallucination of Peter August (Wes Ramsey) right while Valentin is standing there.

Courtesy/ABC

Later Anna was on her way to saying goodbye to Valentin, when the two share an emotional hug. After Valentin made his exit, Peter reappeared and warned Anna to not let Valentin distract her because she has important work to do. Anna answers, “I know.”

So, what did you think of General Hospital’s 16,000 episode? What do you think is wrong with Jason? What is the important “work” that Anna has to do? Were you glad to see Sonny get a seat on the hospital board, or not so much. Weigh-in via the comment section. But first, check out the scenes on Jason and Tristan’s long flight to Port Charles.
