Is Gina Tognoni headed out of One Life to Live early?

Well the Internet was abuzz over the holiday weekend from a tweet by Robin Strasser (Dorian, OLTL) announcing that her last tape date at OLTL will be July 1st, but that the tweet also indicated, that it was also the final tape date for Gina Tognoni as Kelly Cramer!  As many know, Strasser has to exit the series early to have much needed back surgery.

Strasser tweeted, “Have no control over how they’ll write Dorian/Kelly off by July 1- I haven’t had significant story in years-hoping they’ll do D. and K.good.”

So the question is, will Gina be leaving OLTL early to perhaps start a new gig somewhere else?  Remember, Tognoni also left Guiding Light early before its final months of shows.  It would seem perhaps Tognoni and Strasser might pre-tape some scenes that would air closer to the end of the OLTL’s run, but that also remains to be seen.

I really hope not! Gina Tognoni is such an amazing performer! I would much rather see Clint gone than Kelly. Sorry that RS is leaving, but her health must come first, and her fans understand that!

I think if Gina has a chance to keep working, she should take it! She left GL early to go to OLTL but she was in the last show, and she was also doing fan events. Gina is a great person and I applaud her ability to reinvent herself and stay working. As the genre gets smaller, work is going to be harder for daytime vets. Its a sad state of affairs, but in the long run Gina is doing the best she can for herself and her family.

Gee what are they doing with all these wonderful actresses? The shows should give them all ground breaking story’s, but no all they got was weak story what a shame.

That is really too bad she is very good but in light of the bleak future can you blame people for walking-and if in fact it is storyline dictated they are merely cutting costs-I hate what they did to Marty and I hope Robin Strasser is on the mend but frankly what did any of these people get but a swift kick and even as a 40 plus soap fan I hope that OLTL is left with three people Jess Tess and the other mess. Just plain dispictable the whole deal.

Ingo Rademacher Speaks Out On His Dismissal From GH Sharing: “I Was Hoping to Play Jax For Another 10 or 25 Years and Unfortunately, That’s Not Going to Happen”

For the first time since he was fired for not adhering to General Hospital’s and Disney/ABC’s Covid-19 vaccine mandate, Ingo Rademacher (Ex-Jax), addressed his exit from the soap opera via an “official video” message on his Instagram account.

Ingo expressed: “I’m sorry that I didn’t put out this video earlier, but this is about thanking you guys, the fans of the show and also the GH crew and cast. I was on the show for 25 years. They were like my family a lot of the people there. I was hoping to play Jax for another 10 or 25 years and unfortunately, that’s not going to happen. I want to thank you guys for sticking with Jax for 25 years and I’m sorry that I’m not there anymore to play Jax, which is still something that I am trying to process  … it’s just kind of crazy.”

Rademacher also took aim at his former co-star, Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) for announcing on Twitter that he was no longer on the show, before he had a chance to do so, which he says was a huge disappointment to him given that they worked together for 25 years.

He went on to say how he appreciated all the positive comments from the fans adding, “A lot of you come on there to say that you’re vaccinated but stand for medical freedom, I love hearing that, because I believe it should be a choice.”  Ingo continued to express his view, “I don’t agree with vaccine mandates or corporations ever being able to mandate a vaccine to keep your job.”

The actor closed with another nod to the viewers of GH adding, “Thank you so much for supporting me for 25 years. I will have more news later on, but for now, just wanted to thank all of you amazing fans. Thank you.”

You can watch Rademacher’s full statement via his IG post below.  Then, let us know what you thought of Ingo’s long-awaited exit message in the comment section.

Kristina Wagner Shares She’s Back On Contract at General Hospital

This past week, General Hospital fans were thrilled with the news that longtime fan favorite, Kristina Wagner (Felicia) was on her way back to the soap opera to tape new episodes.  However on Saturday, the actress shared even bigger news.  She is back on contract at the ABC daytime drama series.

Kristina revealed via her Instagram: “I’m pleased to announce I just finished my first work week on contract with General Hospital. The good people there have made it a well oiled machine. I’m so impressed with the way they navigate the Covid protocols. It’s not easy but we’ll worth it. We’ve got some fun storylines coming up. I’ve been thrown in the middle of a current storyline and I think Felicia’s part in it gives it some color. Stay tuned!”

Earlier in the week on Tuesday via Twitter, Kristina expressed: “Tomorrow I head back to work on General Hospital! Lucky me. I couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of that family once again. Here we go. More to come. Felicia Scorpio rides again.”

Wagner began her GH role as Felicia Cummings, the Aztec princess back in 1984 and has appeared on and off the show since then.

So what storyline do you think Felicia will get thrown into? Will she return to Port Charles to help Maxie (Kirsten Storms)?  Share your thoughts in the comment section below.

‘Dr. Oz Show’ Taken Off the Air in NY and PA Due to Senate Run; Daphne Oz ‘The Good Dish’ to Fill Time Slot

In light of his announcement that he will be running as a republican senate candidate in the state of Pennsylvania, Dr Oz’s daytime talk and medical show, The Dr. Oz Show, is being taken off the air in key markets in New York and Pennsylvania, according to the Fox Station Group.

According to Deadline’s sources, Fox TV Stations proceeded with pulling the Sony Pictures TV-distributed syndicated series because of the prospect of being forced to give other political candidates running in Pennsylvania equal time, expressing that it “would be a nightmare for us, there was no way we were going to be able to do that.”

In its place, look for Dr. Oz’s daughter, Daphne Oz, to be the fill-in with her show.

Starting on January 18th, Daphne’s The Good Dish, will take over the time slot during the duration of her father’s political campaign.  This potentially could go all the way through November of 2022, if Oz remains in the race through election day.

Last fall, Fox TV Stations renewed The Dr. Oz Show for two more years which gave it life through 2023.

So, do you think more stations will go bye-bye and have The Dr. Oz show pulled? What do you think of daughter Daphne’s series as the fill-in? Comment below.
