Intriguing casting news out of General Hospital has that actor James Patrick Stuart who portrayed former All My Children bad boy, Will Cortlandt has joined the cast of the ABC daytime drama series.

Soap Opera Digest first reported the news which has their setside sources telling them that Stuart has already started shooting and will be seen on-screen in July.

After leaving All My Children in 1992, James has appeared in numerous TV series including: Seinfeld, CSI, and Supernatural and in the film, It’s Complicated.

Could Stuart be part of the storyline involving Carly, Jax, and Sonny, and Josslyn’s mysterious kidney donor … or something else?

Share your thoughts on what story you think Stuart will be entangled in and what you think of this GH casting news in the comment section below!

GH keeps adding to their already bloated cast.

I’ve commented on that very often. They need to slim the newbies from the cast.

I wish GH would take a recent cue from DAYS. For months, DAYS has been hiring top tier, Emmy winning talent from other shows and trying to integrate them into the cast and for a long time, it wasn’t working at all. Especially in the case of Vincent Irizarry, as Victor’s never mentioned brother Deimos. Nothing about the story, including the repeatedly mentioned 30 year timeline. Victor was already well established in Salem 30 years ago, not off battling his brother for the affections of some woman we never heard of. I had NO interest in another family war story, as we have seen enough of that with the DiMera’s.

Then, after a few weeks of lapsed and sporadic viewing, I tuned in, and DAYS was on FIRE!!! Not because of Vincent Irizarry or Deimos, but because of the story he created for the VETS we know and love!! It roped in all the Salem heavyweights…Victor, Maggie, Kate, Nicole, Roman, and then in a shocker, Chloe was returned and revealed to have a past with Deimos.

New characters can ONLY succeed insofar as they are tied to existing characters. DAYS has created one hell of an umbrella storyline that has utilized a lot of actual history we have witnessed on the show…including Victor and Nicole’s marriage, Maggie’s paralysis, Kate and Nicole’s acrimonious past, etc. This story can have repurcussions for years!! It has to be about the vets, not about Deimos. We do n’t care about Deimos…we just care how he impacts the characters we do know and love. The writing was sophisticated and literate especially when Victor went to Kate…and I love that haunting, somewhat eerie musical score they are using.

GH is FAR too top heavy with name stars and newbies…none of which have ANYTHING whatsoever to do with our show General Hospital. It is always widely reported that Frank is a whiz at keeping the show under budget, but I just dont see how. They could easily let go of 10-15 superfluous, pointless characters, and that would for sure keep the show under budget. Then maybe we would see vets and sets instead of pets!

I agree that the stories presently dealing with the adults you have mentioned, Dylan, give me hope. The writing has been fluid and interesting. And, yes!! Deimos et al are necessary means/foils, if you will, to uphold the story at hand in order to create drama and to catapult said story to a culminating climax. I do find it sad, though, since Vincent’s acting is ” la creme de la creme”. So, will he soon be history? Too bad!!
I especially applaud Billy Flynn: the realism of his pain; his anguish seeing his wife in such devastating circumstances, truly got to me…..it was a treat watching him in action.
Nonetheless, Ciara and teen-cohorts make no sense to me. The seams to their stories are gaping open, losing substance in each scene. Time to sew them up.
The situations and predicaments in which these ‘kids’ find themselves are not sellable. I understand life happens, yes, even to youth….but, all the time? There is not one happy young person on this show. No fun, happy-go-lucky, ordinary stuff…ever. What a life! LOL.

Vincent Irizarry was Dr. David Hayward on AMC and married to Anna. I’d love to see him on GH.

And cue the inevitable,we don’t need another new character on GH comments.

Lucky?

HA! That was my first thought. Whether true or not, I watch the show. I can’t control if they add characters or not, so why bother getting riled up. Why not sit back an try to enjoy the stories they’re producing.

I could not agree with you more A.J. , makes me wonder what people will do if ABC cancels GH…then everybody will be crying foul instead “bloated cast”

Let’s just be happy we still have a show.

Honestly, I think at this point if the show were cancelled, I would have mixed feelings about it. There would certainly be an element of thanks for having been put out of my misery.

Good actor but come on…utilize the actors you have…GH is like the Titanic…too many passengers(cast) and not enough lifeboats(story involvement for all)…deep sigh!!!

You’re right, of course. But what’s beginning to really irk me is that the powers that be MUST know by now that a lot of fans are fed up with all these newbies and yet, nearly every other week, we hear of yet another one. Guess that tells us how much our opinions matter.

Anna’s Tinder match!

Yes, Donna!!! That sounds believable. But, why does he look so scraggly and disheveled?

(Aside) : I love the new Nik. And, I especially like him with Ava…hint, hint, writers.

Probably linked to the kidney story.

Could be a match for Anna? She could fall for him and Robert swoop in this October and save her from FAISON’s SON! [I just think Faison has other kids out there]

Thank you Cee Cee, I love the “TEMP” Nick! He is very handsome AND can act!

@Timmm.
I love new Nik, as well. Rarely do we disagree, Timmmy. Fate is a funny thing. I hope to meet you in another life. Do you believe in re-encarnation? LOL.

Maybe he’s part of Hayden’s family.

I don’t know this guy and I am sure he will do well, but… don’t you think they should be shedding some characters before they go adding more?

He was on All My Children as Palmer Cortlandt son, Will Cortlandt.

Palmer’s nephew.

Ithink he could be Anna date and new love

NO MORE NEW CHARACTERS! Write for the people you already have like Laura and Kevin, Brad and Lucas, Mac and Felicia. Finish stories in a timely manner rather than dragging them out forever. Just STOP adding people you can’t write for in a compelling a way that hold out attention. I am beyond frustrated with the addition of new characters when beloved characters get forgotten .

he might be a short stay.. just a moment player.

Does that matter? It’s just more pollution in an already overstressed cast. There is NO need for him, or any of the other new, out of work soap stars of past.

Mac & Felicia? Who are they? I kid. There’ll be stories for Laura. She’s on contract. If Kevin becomes a love interest, he’ll be around. Hopefully Brad & Lucas will get a real story, but Mac & Felicia? They’re done. Yes, Felicia was just on the other day, but they couldn’t even be in the audience for the Nurses Ball when Robin was there? They may live in Port Charles but so does Audrey Hardy. They’ll show up from time to time. If Maxie gets married, sure. If she has a baby, sure. To help Anna, maybe. But for a real story. Nope. And don’t get me wrong, I like them. I’m a longtime viewer, but it’s just the reality…

Realistically expressed, AJ. I agree.
There must be a million and one reasons why certain vets appear and disappear. We cannot always get what we want.
However, all these loose ends do not endear some of us to all storylines.
I am happy to see more of Laura and Spencer. I adore their relationship….Kevin is an added bonus.
Also, the fact that Spencer is being so stoic, over his father’s disappearance, leads me to believe he knows Nik is not dead. I would assume Nikolas had a ‘talk’ with his son before his exit.

A man who lives in reality! i FEEL THE SAME WITH Laura AND i GET ATTACKED, SHE WAS EVERYTHING with Luke AND NOT SO MUCH WITHOUT HIM. i WOULD LOVE FOR HER AND Kevin TO HIT IT OFF AND HAVE A BIG STORY BUT YOU SEE HOW WEAK IT IS ALREADY! Luke JUST FIT INTO EVERYONES LIVES IN PC AND HE HAD HIS OWN BIG STORIES FOR 37 ON AND OFF YEARS! LAURA STRUGGLES.

What she said.

I agree with you. It is so stupid of them to add anymore people. Like get rid of Jordan first. She needs to go.

Yup, Pam. Not a very efficient chief….or whatever her title is. Personal feelings should not come into play during a murder investigation or anything else, for that matter. So amateurishly excecuted.

Executed

Worst commissioner EVER!

Exactly. The onslaught of new characters are never fully developed or written well-which leads to the viewers not being invested in the new character or storyline.

And the pacing is so off because they are juggling so many people. No sooner are we introduced to Hayden’s mother than she disappears for days. Would have loved to have seen a romantic honeymoon scene between Lucas and Brad, given what a shabby wedding they were given. But they just disappeared. We never did learn why Rosalie and Brad married in the first place. I really want GH to get their stories under control, for them to have a clear beginning, middle and end, and then segue into another story. That’s how the rhythm of soap stories works and keep us interested in multiple storylines.

Great, fun scenes with Laura, Kevin, and Spencer–Genie can do SO much with a look, a raised eyebrow, a droll “face pull.” And Jon is no slouch, either. They are so confortable together–like they have been working in tandem for a long time. More of them, please. A little sanity, a little levity greatly appreciated. And Genie looked fantastic again today (Fri.).

I agree, Frank is turning this into HIS imagination of GH! I dont mind new characters, you need them, BUT have them be connected to people WE want to see!

I remember enjoyimg his amc work if not his storylines. He has the greatest soap spirk. New characters have to be brought in to move story and if it goes ok and the character is compelling I don’t mind.

Seriously!!! Another damn castmember???? Brad & Lucas didn’t even get a reception becsuse GH has 70 more characters to write for….. Wth???

I’m sure it’s just a short term thing. Sometimes they need to add someone to finish up a storyline.

It has been a short term thing over and over again for the last what, five years?

Enough already. It’s like Valentini doesn’t know how to do anything other than hire former actors from other soaps. You know the old saying…. if all you have is a hammer, everything you see looks like a nail.

Limited vision, mediocre business skills, zero creativity.
And yet, he stays in his job, day in and day out.

I am glad he is coming to GH.I liked him on AMC!

How about finishing or just explaining Finn’s story. The character is not compelling enough to drag this storyline on. Is he or isn’t he a drug addict. Keep it dragging and I won’t even care! So why did they even bring Michael Easton back? Gotta wonder.

Soaps move slow. That’s how they work. Compared to the 90s and earlier they are much faster paced now, but still slow.

Agreed they are faster than when we watched two decades ago. But every story advanced at least a little every week, and we didn’t have to wait days and even weeks to see a story thread picked up again.

I’m with you–not warming up to the character at all–writers are “stingy” with their writing of this character–too bad.

Finn “hasn’t” really warmed up to any one… per se

1. Where’s Roxie
2. Dr. Leisl is at least… giving Finn rise to the occasion
3. his forced bff w/Carly

????

I don’t get that he sought out Hayden… to return that “check”

so yeah ….

what is Finn going to be

he’d better not diss Monica for too much longer

argh! I can’t stand that “Carly” story is front and center… and she’ll be all commando soon enough

Good point. Look how long they drug out Fluke and Sleepy Miller’s “Jake!” We didnt / dont care anymore!

Question;
why do they not hire overweight average looking women or men ??
yah know- the real deal average guy ..

I would like a real guys ..

There is not one ‘Nathan’ in my neighborhood or work nor in my area..

su…thats what i like about British soaps like Coronation Street….they are all average looking people and no botox…some men have red hair and freckles…you can even have a boil on your butt on their shows-lol

Nu AMY is a normal looking girl.

Look…as wonderful as James Patrick Stuart is as an actor, GH needs to STOP adding new characters to the ALREADY BLOATED canvas!!!!! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!!

Loved him on AMC. However, I agree that GH does not need to add anymore new characters. So many favorites are never on. I hardly watch anymore.

I hear you, Louisa. Lately, my finger seems welded to FAST FORWARD during GH, especially when any of the following are on: Jordan (is she a joke as Commissioner or what), Andre, Valerie, Lulu & Dante (I don’t mind them separately, but together? No thank you), Bad Franco (liked him better nicer). And characters I used to like (Julian, Nathan–he STILL looks like he’s always ready to punch Spinelli again, for no reason– Sabrina) have been ruined for me.

FF with a capital F!

New stories sometimes need new characters or the show gets stale. We can’t watch the same 10 characters every single week as they do on Y&R.

I agree, I just think too many at once, or in a 2 -3 month span, are a mistake. When you bring on a new, really dynamic actor/character, there needs to some “getting to know you” time. Griffin and Finn were good enough actors to keep me compelled for quite a while, whereas Andre, Valerie, and Nurse Amy wore out their welcome pretty quickly with me.

agree

Wednesday ep: on the “plane” going to London?

Trent Dawson, Tyler Christopher, Maura West

HOW GREAT IS THIS ?

I sat their marveling….. YES

YIKE – go their GH

I was wondering… if

Maura West and Tyler Christopher had ever had scenes together?

would Ava and Nicholas paths ever cross ?

as a star crossed lovers… I thought the heat was palpable !!!!

add in Trent Dawson… I THANK THE SOAP GODS

As the World Turns… will forever be… the best of the best

TD’ Henry w/ Colleen Zenk… MADE the LAST years of Oakdale

I swear we were seeing Maura West just savoring these new interactions… ACTING

bring it on GH : Huxley, Ava, and Nicholas

this is what fans clamor for… GOOD ACTORS

it just stinks tho… that Nicholas is written this way… all because of … too much too soon… Hayden… their relationship has gone south

I am hoping beyond

that either Laura w/Helena good intentions… will bequeath more money and power… to both Laura and Nicholas…

let’s see Ava out of Sonny and Carly orbit… I say theirs potential for HEAT w/Nicholas… AVA ! do the right thing… and help the man out

which may be a moot point… as just who is Huxley working for…

I say GH is going way too far… in hiring and adding in and around Hayden… a new mother… and now as it’s intimated… that Huxley may be working for and with Hayden ? is her new father orbiting … just saying… the spark is gone from Hayden and Nicholas… so why bother ?

I hope not… enough of these silly games… about money

It’s not out of the question… that Trent Dawson could steal the show

“…AVA ! do the right thing… and help the man out ”

ok – ok

I forget… Ava does not want to do any thing to jeopardize her life with Avery

right?

just saying… I thought I saw a renewed sparkle of vim and vigor

w/ Maura “Ava”

I so want the show to move … w/o so much … Carly / Sonny / Jason / Sam

dang it… TC’ Nicholas … as the resident “baddie” LOOKED w/beard ! hum

You did see vim and vigor vibrate through Ava, Patrick. We must see through the same set of lenses. LOL.
I attribute this newfound “joie de vivre” to Nik’s company. These two clicked. Love it!!

Give me Genie Francis EVERY DAY. Never tire of watching her. She really anchors a show–and GH is sorely in need of that anchor–BUT they are moving the story line along at a PAINFUL snail’s pace. Wonder why–with Genie legion of fans wanting so much more.

True ….. But now we have like 80 to choose from and the writers ate leaving stories dangling for weeks/months at a time.

*are*

Maybe he will be a new character brought in to “wipe” out the bloated cast…..at first, he’s in for Carly’s kid’s kidney story, then people start turning up dead….Nina, Morgan, Sam, Jordan, Andre, Julian, Sabrina……then Christina, Molly, TJ and Felix and Brad get taken hostage by him……turns out the character was in prison with Micheal and became infatuated with him, so he donated his kidney to save Josslyn, then he kills people that are in Micheal’s orbit…..of course, Jason and Sonny will save Micheal but not before TJ and Brad are killed….in a crazy cat and mouse game, with Alexis and Dianne, it will turn out that this new character will be Dianne’s long lost love child with Raymond Berlin….thus making him related to Rachel and Liz Webber…..who also get held hostage….so pretty much the whole town is killed, cast is trimmed….new stories breach out….some twist of fate that Sonny, Jason and Julian all get shot and put in comas indefinitely………

standing ovation to your last sentence

I wouldn’t have a problem… and

per your 2nd to last

“new stories breach out…. “

Scott: how can we get you a job writing for GH? Any story that wipes out so many sore thumbs has my vote, and a back story for Diane, too? I’m in heaven. One favor, though. Please spare Jason and Morgan. I promise you’ll like them better under your story possibilities! And I need SOME eye candy. Nathan “DUDLEY DO-RIGHT” just isn’t enough for me.

I have to agree with my fellow commentators above, and I’m surprise nobody from the show is paying attention, time and time agian this is one of the shows top complaints yet they keep adding new characters and leaving stories with current characters just hanging. It’s sad, I remember when GH announced around the same time that both finola Hughes n genie Francis had renewed their contracts with the show and yet only finola has had a storyline n airtime ( thnk goodness) but poor genie Francis is barely on, we can’t blame tony Geary anymore because he’s gone so what gives.?

So agree with you! Geez, Lucas & Brad probably wont be seen again for 3 more months; just in time to adopt a baby. Oh wait, that’s Dante & Lulu’s quest for life ….. Still!

The world is a stage – and apparently that stage is on the set of GH.

Oh, gosh!! Who knows anymore, what with all these new portrayals of anyone or everyone. Is he a good guy?
Same goes for Huxley who seems to have kidnapped Nik and Ava. Too coincidental for Helena/Cassadines to be behind it? Or Ray? Does he know Nik has the diamonds and wants them back? If Nik is not an imposter, that is.
I thought I heard Mrs. Berlin say the family had real estate practically all over the globe and then some.
I wish I cared enough to speculate to whom Stuart’s character is linked.

I hope Hux is Spinelli’s dad!

Yup! Imagine what they could create with their fruitful brains, while stirring their cauldron.
I think Spinelli is a witch (warlock?), my Timmmy. Ha!

New characters are also essential to the future of a show. Laura, Bobbie, Scottie etc.. are legendary characters played by terrific actors but a show doesn’t stay on the air for 50 years without adding new characters. I’m sure diehard fans were not happy with the additions of Carly, Sonny and Brenda in the 90s but overtime they began to represent a new era for GH. That new era is why GH is still standing while several others have long gone. Give the newbies a chance people.

Hi Drake
I like new characters.. they are something new and different to watch.
I have tired of the same ol’ faces day after day after decades .. lol
New is good .

Here’s a thought– instead of filling an established soap with new characters until the show becomes unrecognizable, why don’t they just create a new soap based on the new characters instead of hijacking the established show– I get writers get royalties for the characters they create, but honestly when the air time is taken up more by new characters than the characters the show started with, you might as well rename the show to reflect that truth.

I’m hoping the View will get cancelled soon, since the show is such a trainwreck…maybe ABC will be smart and create a new 30 minute or two 30 minute soaps……use the money they are dishing out for the lackluster Joy, Whoopi and Raven and get a decent show with a good crew and good actors and writers…..get some new blood in to write the show….stop recycling the old “has been” writers and get some new blood and technology….i’m sure they could draw viewers in some how…..be creative….

All I can say is Another damn cast member???? Seriously? GH can barely tell all the stories they have and they add more? This isn’t the AMC/OLTL/GH show, this is GH! Ridiculous to keep hiring every unemployed soap actor out there. Trim the fat!

I loved him on All My Children, so I’m excited to see that he’s joining GH!! He’s a great actor!!

‘General Hospital’s’ Steve Burton Shares Reaction to His Lead Actor Daytime Emmy Nomination, ‘It Was to Honor Leslie Charleson’

Published

By

The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations kicked-off on Monday with the announcements of four major categories including, Outstanding Lead Performer in a Daytime Drama Series — Actor, and among the nominees is General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan).

Burton is already a two-time Daytime Emmy winner in the Supporting Actor category for his roles as GH’s Jason and his turn as Dylan McAvoy on Y&R. However, Steve is yet to win in the Lead Actor category and he has received 11 nominations along the way in his daytime career.

Following the reveal that he is a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee, he and his GH co-star, podcast co-host and comedy show partner, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) taped a special edition of their That’s Awesome podcast just featuring Burton’s reaction to the news.

FOR LESLIE CHARLESON

Steve expressed, “I know it’s such a cliche to say, ‘I’m just so honored to be nominated.’ But truly, I’m so grateful to be nominated, so grateful to just be on the show off and on for 30 plus years and to be nominated with the guys in my category. Just to get the opportunity. Frank (Valentini, executive producer, GH) texted me right away. I was just like, ‘Thank you for the opportunity to get to do what I do.'”

Taking in the moment, Burton thanked those who helped him select the material for his nominated reel. “Unless you win, you don’t get to say things. So. I’m going just say a few things: Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) helped me a lot with the material, (as did) Michelle Henry, who’s a producer on the show, Laura Wright (Carly, GH), and then my wife Michelle (Lundstrom). I believe it was Jill Phelps who told me that when A Martinez felt like he had a great show or great scenes, he would mark it down. So, when Emmy time comes, you have all the show numbers written down, and you don’t have to think about it, because that’s half the battle (finding the material).

Burton explained how meaningful this nomination is for him, because of playing the scenes of Jason losing Monica, and his closeness with the late, great Leslie Charleson.

“The nomination’s an amazing thing, and it’s beautiful, but really it’s to honor Leslie Charleson. A lot of my material was because of her, and how I started on the show as a Quartermaine, it just means a ton,” shared Burton. “Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) has obviously has been instrumental, and I’ve said it from day one and I’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here, and to be working with the people that we work with is incredible.”

SHOULD JOHN OLIVER BE NAMED HOST OF THE DAYTIME EMMYS?

During the end of his conversation with Anderson, Steve suggested that the host of the Daytime Emmy should be Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver, who recently guest starred as the head of the WSB named Z on General Hospital, and is soon to show up on Days of Our Lives in a mystery role in August.

Thus far, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has not revealed their host for the upcoming ceremony to be held on October 30 in a venue to be named in Hollywood, California.

You can watch Steve sharing his reaction to receiving his 2026 Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nomination below on a special segment on the That’s Awesome podcast.

Now let us know, are you glad that Steve chose scenes surrounding Jason mourning the loss of the woman that raised him, Monica Quartermaine for his Emmy reel? What do you think of John Oliver as a suggestion to host the Daytime Emmys? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Jason Reconnects with Danny; Tristan Roberts Arrives in Port Charles, Lots of Nods to #16

Published

on

By

General Hospital’s 16,000th episode was packed with little reminders through points in today’s script that the ABC daytime drama series has set another milestone and it paved the way for the return of fan favorite and newly nominated Daytime Emmy Lead Actor nominee Steve Burton (Jason Morgan). The 16,000th episode also introduced viewers to the new surgeon in Port Charles Dr. Tristan Roberts played by Dean Geyer.

Here are the key takeaways and what went down on the July 13 episode: Tristan and Jason are seated next to each other on a plane heading to Port Charles. Throughout the flight, a beaten up Jason has flashbacks to being thrown into, and being held captive in a cell and tortured. It appears Jason is suffering from some form of PTSD from what he was put through after being dragged out of Port Charles by the WSB months ago.

As the plane prepares to land, Tristan tells Jason there would be a car waiting for him once they land and to enjoy the rest of his life. Later, Tristan arrives at the nurses and doctors hub at GH and approaches Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). He tells her his name and that he is the new surgeon on staff.

A REUNION PLUS A HEAD NURSE DEFENDS SONNY

Meanwhile, at the end of the episode, Jason is outside the Quartermaine boathouse looking bewildered when he runs into Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), who is so thrilled to see his father, and the two hugs each other as tears are shed.

Elsewhere, Elizabeth tells Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he thinks its a great idea for him to get the 16th seat on the hospital board, but when it comes times to convince Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) of that, things go awry when Tracy, Laura and Sonny try to work things out. After Tracy launches into Sonny about killing Alan and Monica’s son AJ, Sonny walks away dejected.

Next, Sonny runs into Elizabeth, where he informs her what happened with Tracy. So what’s a head nurse to do? Elizabeth marches into the conference room and reminds Tracy of all the different donations and ways Sonny has contributed to the hospital from the Stone Cates AIDS wing, to the Michael Corinthos Center for Pediatric Head Injuries as well as his constant support each year for the GH Nurses’ Ball.

WSB WAR SCARS

Then, in one of the best parts for longtime fans of the series, Elizabeth talks about her legendary grandparents, Audrey and Steve Hardy and she tells Tracy they would have wanted Sonny to have a seat on the board for all the good that he has done for the hospital. After Elizabeth states Sonny’s case, things took a turn and Tracy and Sonny wound up shaking hands as Sonny is board member #16.

In the how great was it to see Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) together scenes department, the pick-up of last Friday’s cliffhanger is played out as the two former lovers fill each other in on what has gone down in their lives in the last several months including Valentin admitting he had been living in Carly’s attic, and Anna realizing she was kidnapped by Cullum, Sidwell and Cassius Faison. During their conversation, Anna sees the hallucination of Peter August (Wes Ramsey) right while Valentin is standing there.

Later Anna was on her way to saying goodbye to Valentin, when the two share an emotional hug. After Valentin made his exit, Peter reappeared and warned Anna to not let Valentin distract her because she has important work to do. Anna answers, “I know.”

So, what did you think of General Hospital’s 16,000 episode? What do you think is wrong with Jason? What is the important “work” that Anna has to do? Were you glad to see Sonny get a seat on the hospital board, or not so much. Weigh-in via the comment section. But first, check out the scenes on Jason and Tristan’s long flight to Port Charles.
