Taking to his Instagram to celebrate the nominations, GH’s Bennett, enthused, “3 Critic Choice Nominations! I’m so proud of the FINDING MR CHRISTMAS and to be in the company of all the legends in all these categories is so surreal! Congrats to Hallmark Channel and to our nominated cast and nominated show and everyone who made this magical show possible. This is crazy! This gives FMC 6 Critics Choice nominations in 2 years. Not bad for a little show on Hallmark Channel. What are your thoughts on our show?” Jumping first into the comment thread was one of his new GH co-stars, Dominic Zamprogna (Dante) who expressed, “Yeah buddy!!!🔥🔥”
In the series, Bennett, the host and co-creator spends eight weeks guiding 10 aspiring actors through a series of “festive face-offs” and acting challenges alongside actors like soap opera notables, Hunter King (ex-Summer, Y&R) and Alison Sweeney (Sami, DAYS). Along the way, they develop their skills and a bond with one another. The show, which is available on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Plus, highlights LGBTQ+ representation with openly gay contestants vying to be the next Hallmark star.
It should be noted that Traitors received the most Critics Choice Real TV Award nominations with 6 nods, followed by Dancing with the Stars with 4.
Bennett is very familiar to daytime fans having started his career as JR Chandler on All My Children in 2000-2001, before landing the part of Aaron Samuels in the motion picture, Mean Girls in 2004 starring Lindsay Lohan, which would become his breakout performance.

‘General Hospital’s’ Kelly Thiebaud on Britt and Cassius Sibling Drama, But Who Will Ultimately Blow His Cover?
On the April 30 episode of General Hospital, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) had some choice words and warning for her brother Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) who has been masquerading as his twin, the very dead, Nathan West.
As the story has unfolded, viewers learned that Britt knew all along that when “Nathan” showed up in Port Charles seemingly resurrected with a missing 7 years of his life unexplained, that Cassius was taking his place.
Now in developments on today’s GH, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is figuring out that this guy pretending to be Nathan is someone else, and Cassius learns from Britt, that Joss is not just a ditzy sorority girl as he claimed, but a WSB agent! The moment stuns Cassius. Are the walls about to close in on him and his charade?

Daytime Emmy winner, Kelly Thiebaud spoke to Soap Opera Digest, about the story point and getting the opportunity this time back at GH to work with Ryan Paevey, when she hadn’t had the chance to before.
BROTHERLY LOVE?
Thiebaud expressed on sharing scenes with Ryan Paevey, “It’s just been so wonderful to have him back and to actually work with him! When he first came onto the show (as Nathan at the end of 2013) I was kind of heading out — it was right towards the end of my contract, so we didn’t actually work together a ton. It’s been really refreshing and so much fun to really spend time together and get to know each other and work together. I think we have really great on-camera chemistry and banter with each other. I really enjoy working with him.”
With the stakes at an all-time, Thiebaud explained how she views her on-screen alter-ego’s involvement with her more hot-to-temper sibling and why Britt revealed the truth about Josslyn to him. “People finding out about Cassius would expose what she’s involved in and what she agreed to do,” explains Kelly “And now Josslyn is digging around, and she’s connected to Carly (Laura Wright) to Jason (Steve Burton) and that whole dynamic! It’s messy!”
BRITT’S MURKY FUTURE
Britt has currently also reached her breaking point with Jason being carted away by the WSB, Rocco (Finn Carr), the child she gave birth to, shooting Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) to protect her and Jason, Marco (Adrian Anchondo) being killed after trying to help her, and Cullum holding over her head getting her Huntington’s disease medication to control her symptoms, while blackmailing her into finishing the research on her father, Cesar Faison’s, final project. Thiebaud summed it up best for Britt right now, sharing, “It’s been a really tough time for her.”
So, who do you think will be the person to blow Cassius’ cover? Will it be Britt herself? Josslyn? Liesl? Brennan? Nina? Lulu? Rocco, Maxie, Cullum or someone else? Let us know your pick in the comment section.

Days Of Our Lives2 days ago‘Days of Our Lives’ Conner Floyd on Chad’s Quest For Abigail’s Resurrection; But Who Should Be Cast as NuAbby?
That was a great twist today, definitely did not see that coming! Y&R has been doing really great lately.
Pretty weird. If his mom died, seems more logical to have
his dad fly to him in Australia. No one called Ben? But
his son suddenly shows up at the police station. Who
came with him?
Anyway, this boy seems like a handful already.
Very true, Nanci. There are strict rules and regulations about a child traveling alone without a parent’s consent. And, even then, there is a certain protocol to follow. Is he a stowaway? We’ll soon find out.
One thing is very puzzling to me; as Ben was on his haunches questioning his son, Max relayed that his mother had died. Then he continued saying, “… And you killed her”. ( Or he may have said “because of you”….I can’t remember). But, while he declared this, he turned his head to look straight at Abby. Was he accusing Ben or Abby?
I think you’re right. This kid will probably prove to be a challenge….putting a wedge between the newlyweds….tee-hee, I hope so.
I swear, lol. I think Max will wipe the smile from Abby’s happy bride face
in record time!
Yes, indeed, more logical but far less dramatic.
So did Jenna kill herself and then Max bought himself a plane ticket like SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE?! What about a passport?
Oh, maybe he stowed away somehow. I hope for once there is some logic to one of Y&R’s storylines. I tried to watch yesterday’s episode last night after the kids went to bed and it PUT ME TO SLEEP. My internal clock has been messed up for about a year now. I guess the key is watching Y&R before bed because DOOL didn’t put me to sleep.
I’m pretty sure Max killed his mom. He’ s an evil child.
I knew Stitch’s son would end up in town ,after his mom died .i’m glad to see him . all the best to Jared.
0ooohh goodie!
I hope Max turns out to ”Chucky’s” brother !!! 😉
Happy New Year Suooo I see you still have your sense of humor that probably is not off the mark too much with Pratt writing. I expect any day to see the shrink Sandy to be looking in the mirror and take off a wig and see a big scar on her head. Think Kimberly Shaw on Melrose Place.
That’s really funny, Kay. I always look forward to suzie Q’s comments. Never fails to put a smile on my face.
This story with the psycho psycho-analyst is so off-the wall. By the same token, albeit, mot so much for Y&R. Every time I see Dr. Anderson, I am reminded of that eye-doctor in the RESTASIS commercial. They look so much alike. Poor Sharon. Now, poor Sage. Wow, what a nut case!!!
Are you rubbing your hands together, su?…..lol, I am…. Maybe Ben will move to Australia and leave Abby behind.
I’ve been expecting him to show up some how. Glad he finally made it.
So glad that Stitch’s son is in Genoa City. Hope he stays.
my question is will abby be able to handle this kid????
my answer is i do not think so……………..but we shall see
Hi, elm,
This kid will be the straw that breaks the camel’s back. But, hey, the ‘hierarchy’ may surprise us and have Max be the one to meld Ben and Abby together; taking Ashley out of the equation. I still refuse to believe letting go of Ashley is so simple for Ben AND vice versa.
I liked his debut, but the storyline potential for someone of his age is limited, I think he’ll be SORAS’d in the not too distant future.
GOOD! I hope he guilt’s his dad into moving to Australia PERMANENTLY!
Hey, my Timmm.
I just read your comment after sending mine to su. You and I actually said the same thing. Oh, boy!! What do you make of that? Ha!…..later.
Great BEHINDS think alike! Ha ha ha!
@Timmm.
And I wonder why I am so into you. It’s answers like that!!!!!!
I thought he meant Abby killed his mother because after he said it he was looking at Abby.
If mom died in Australia, how did he get to WI?
Honeymoon is over Abby. Max is coming to live with you.
When they mentioned Max so much, I wondered what was up.
So glad Stitch’s son has come to town & Stitch finally has a family! It’s about time! It’ll be interesting how Abby handles being a step mom.
Stitch has had a family. His mother and sister were both in GC.
I know he did, but sister died and who knows where the mother is…she’s on the run somewhere. He finally has his son with him! Should make for an interesting storyline!
Maybe his mom was bringing him to the wedding and got killed in Geonoa City. They did not know who her son was so police took him to station. It was Abby who he said killed his mom not Ben
Yes, peggy, anything is possible. But, wouldn’t the police have been aware of the accident? I’m sure she would have her ID on her. The cops now know who the boy is, therefore, they would put two and two together. So, Paul called Ben, why not tell him there had been an accident? The accident would have been newsworthy, I would think. Who knows? There’s more to this, and they better have a reasonable explanation….no more of this Mickey Mouse, stuff.
On another note, Peggy. Did you notice that now Dylan is not only going on police investigations; he has also graduated to taking notes. Who the heck does that? He is not a lawman. As I said….Mickey Mouse stuff. Civilians are now running the GCPD.
Just watched clip again and yeah, Max says Abby killed his mom, not Ben.
Hey, Mo. That’s what I thought, as well, on my post (above). Apparently Abby called her as she was driving; thus, the accident. So Max blames Abby. Lesson learned? I doubt it. Unless it’s my son’s school calling or an emergency, I will not answer my cell. If it is important, I will pull over. This is a reality we all see on the road…….unfortunately.
Cute kid— not buying the premise that his mother would die and they would just ship the kid to GC without notifying Ben first. But even if they did, they wouldn’t go through the police department– children’s aid or a lawyer, but not the cops– so that was a really lame introduction. However now that the kid is here, no doubt he blames Abby because she was on the phone with his mother when the crash happened. He will give Abby all kinds of grief behind Ben’s back— not interested in watching Abby try to play mommy with this child, so this gives me another reason to FF through scenes with these characters in them.
Same here, Mary. Ben’s not worth it….especially since his heart belongs to Mommy (Ashley).
PS. I don’t buy it either, Mary. That’s why I said he could be a stowaway. But that is starting to sound as a discordant note to myself. What about security? Everything sounds lame to me so far.
Then there’s Dylan, robofakecop. Why can’t I get into this guy??
Abby will leave Stitch. Cant handle life with a readymade kid
I actually think now that the reason the writers had such a fast wedding for Abby
and Ben is because of Max coming onboard. Without a tie to Abby, not a ton of
viewers would give a hoot about Ben’s offspring. Not a lot of viewers give a hoot
about Ben to be able to extend any interest in Max, in my opinion. So it will be
all about drama between Abby, Ben, and their new little addition.
Good premise, Nanci. I agree with you. The PTB put the emphasis on Ashley and her medical issue for rushing the wedding. I do like Abby….it’s the cantaloupe that bugs me. If I old only find some interest in this couple….Alas, I cannot.
Correction: if I could only find…..
I could not care less. Stitch just doesn’t do anything for me & neither does Abby. In fact Y&R is boring me to tears right now. Someone is in the hospital ALL THE TIME & gee, another hit & run? Noah barely bumped Billy! The beating he took from the bookie’s thug is what nearly killed him. And if I hear Victor call him Billy Boy or Billy Boy Abbott one more time . . . . It is not cute or funny anymore! And I hope when Jason Thompson takes over as Billy which I just can’t grasp yet he will be a tall strong Billy who can look Victor in the eye & behave like a grown MAN instead of these weak little billy boys (as Victor says) they’ve had over the years-no offense to any of the actors but this character needs to grow up.
While I like this plot twist, it is another example of lazy writers. Do they think any kid would be sent from another country to a police station? There would be lots of red tape to move that kid from Australia to the US, especially with his mother dying! The only thing that could save that goof would be if he came on his own as a hide-a-way! There are so many good writers in the world, so why do they hire people who are ignorant and lack creativity???
GH needs a new little Jake. Kid can’t act. It’s okay to replace him. He was gone for 5 years – we didn’t get attached.
