Shes ok but im not totally impressed! My opinion could change for better or for worse later…hope pp gets a percentage of the money made from the song…theyre going to need it!

Actually she shouldve played Jessica …Dusky couldve been one of her alters! Meanwhile this overexposed Shelter seems more like a Jersy Shore hangout…give me back my One Life To Live!

I was thinking the same thing about her playing Jessica! For some reason, she reminds me of Erin Torpey. I also like Bree Williamson’s Jessica as well. Who in the world is “Dusky”? One Life to Live, please do not waste my time with bringing on new characters that have no connection to the show. My patience for these kind of decisions is wearing very thin. Why not bring Trevor St. John back and finish his storyline?

Well for one Trevor St John is currently working on a movie he signed to be in, so cannot be in two places at the same time. As for Dusky, TPTB can just send her and Cutter off to parts unknown as far as I am concerned!!!

HATED HATED HAAAAATED the song.. if fact.. Love Snoop.. but ALSO HATE the opening song.. BLAAAA sorry Snoop..

Meh. And, I hated that song.

Singer?? In what universe? A singer sings. Lyrics, like notes, like music. She talks, can’t she sing. She’s awful. White Girl Wasted, what a lovely message to send, her parents must be so proud. 😉

This is not the OLTL I love. I waited a long time, and was very excited to see OLTL back, but it is not good. We need more veteran actors and places we remember like Rodie’s. And why do all the exterior doors open out? It is awkward ad the actors have trouble with them.

I’ve noticed that about the doors too. I thought perhaps it had to with the foundations of the sets also being used for AMC. Not so. The AMC doors open outward too. Very odd.

She stunk and the song was awful.

In my opinion, OLTL was a classy show with some edge and humor to it. I like and enjoy the old guard and am open to new characters and storylines, that’s why the show was on for 43 years. But these sleezy V.I.P room people just do a disservice to the show. I will take Lindsay and R.J. anyday.

I miss RJ and Roxy too.

Ditto! I liked to see on OLTL is the heart-warming stories they had on OLTL going for as long as I can rememeber.

I agree.. the show seems so much more trashy.. hate that Dani is drinking and drugs.. the swearing and flipping people off is really messed up.. thats NOT what I was hoping that would come back when the show came back.. I am VERY disappointed!!

They recently hired a new head writer so hopefully things change soon

The song was not my cup of tea either. But, if it gets younger people to tune in and become fans of the show, so be it. Hopefully, they can integrate the character into the story lines.

OLTL needs to go back to its roots. Recast McBain and bring on more Buchanans, Roxy, Nigel and more police drama. Bring back Rodis and the BonJour as well as the Palace. We need more veteran characters and more OLTL landmarks.

Would love to see Max Holden and Blair together again. Also recast Starr and bring her home, too.

More Rodi’s scense and no Shelter scenes!!!! Bring back Capricorn

Annoying, the fake look is so over.

I didn’t like the song at all! It isn’t my cup of tea either! It wasn’t good at all.

And she didn’t impress me at all.

Not impressed at all! I was hoping we would only see her that one time. Wish I could fast forward her scenes on hulu!!!

NOT impressed. ARE YOU listening prospect park? The club scenes HAVE to go, the writers need to concentrate on the more mature characters who can actually act and get away from this Teen scene that is so not working – I think enough people have written on here that this is not the One Life to Live that they remember and love – and while some changes are acceptable, they are deviating too far from what made OLTL the iconic soap show that is always was.

With alienating a younger audience the show is sure to last forever right? WRONG!!!! When those more mature stars die off then what?

Well, right after I posted what I did it was announced that a New head writing team had been hired. So, I don’t think I was too far off the track.
I am not saying that they should concentrate totally and completely on older characters played by the more mature actors (although they are usually more proficient at acting from seasoning) but if you think these young “teen scenes” showing kids drinking excessively and playing “let’s strip” games and the camera showing “stills” of Matthew posing in a provocative manner – if anyone thinks that will keep One Life to Live going, please think again. I do understand that they need to have younger storylines to keep the younger set interested, but I feel they (Prospect Park) need to broaden their horizons and have a better grasp of who is actually watching the show.

The girl is GOOD. I was impressed by her acting and immediately downloaded that joint. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! F*** the haters! OLTL is rockin’ out dammit!

nice to see 99% of us don’t like the Shelter crappy scenes…. what a waste of Blair!

give the young adults better scenes and the younger viewers will be hooked… but watching young adults sitting around and drinking and swearing

well you could watch that in a lot of places… even the mall!

bring back capricorn, Roady’s, the Vega brothers, Rex, LIndsey, RJ… bring back more of the great writing OLTL used to have!

This is horrible. Last time I heard singing that bad the person was actually wasted. I hope we are not going to be subjected to more.
