Fans who have been upset that One Life to Live favorite Kassie DePaiva (Blair) has not been on the Port Charles canvas, but her on-screen daughter, Starr (Kristen Alderson) and on and off again flame, Todd Manning (Roger Howarth) are, take note!   Kassie is set to make a return visit to General Hospital during the summer months.

General Hospital’s executive producer, Frank Valentini sent out an exclusive tweet today stating, “You’re hearing it here first… @KassieDePaiva‘s BLAIR will visit #GH this summer!”

So what do you think of a Blair return? Obviously, it’s a visit and not more long term.  Are you cool with that soapers? Let us know!

We have all the players here we just need TSJ! to wrap up the story!

Finally, great to have her. I love her character and her. She is a wonderful person:>)

I want Kassie to get a contract! Bring on Natalie and Liam! That’s what would make me happy! And Victor too! Not to much to ask except for bring back OLTL that would be a dream come true!

Agree with bringing Natalie & Liam. Unless GH becomes two hours long lets use our lodgic.

She doesn’t want to move to the West Coast because she’s not sure that GH will be around for very long time.

Heather-don’t be dense here. Family issues are what’s keeping Kassie from GH full time. I’m glad to see her anytime

SO TRUE HEATHER AND TROY!! SHE CN KEEP OUR OLTL FAVS GOING AND ADD SOME SPICE TO TODD’S LOVE LIFE TOO!! GH WAS RENEWED FOR ANOTHER YEAR.

Mixed feelings. Love Blair so much ad I’d like her back full time, but I fear RC will get this wrong.

mixed feeling my foot, Cassie is an exceptional actress and can only make GH much better than it is. Show was ready to be axed until you started adding OLTL to the mix. I have watched all 3 ABC soaps for many many many years so don’t tell me that GH has been having good story lines until recently. I want the OLTL characters to intertwine with GH stories. Bring lots of the characters on intermitinently. Ron please bring closure to the Victor Lord Jr story line, it is cruel how you left all OLTL fans hanging and now bringing a few characters back without telling the correct story is cruel and just plain stupid.

Your right Debbie, For many years general hospital had terrible stories, all of them mob related, I to watched all the abc soaps and one life to live was by far the best soap of all of them, I to can’t wait for Kassie Depava to show up on general hospital and I also would love to see the story of 2 todds continue. Ron left that story undone because we were suppose to go to the net and the story would continue there, to bad all p p was is a stall by abc to screw the fans. I watched general hospital for 49 years and there have been wonderful stories through the years when the gangster stuff started it all went to hell in a hand basket I am enjoying general hospital now,and the one life to live characters are doing beautifully blending in.

Wow, Debbie
Tell us how you really feel. The OLTL characters do add some spice to the show however I’d prefer that the storylines stayed believable and not so much like the 1970’s (switching babies, dead people walking around talking etc.) You seem really angry.
Just saying.

SO TRUE DEBBIE AND BARBARA!! OLTL FANS NEED THE TWO MANNING BROTHERS STORY TO KEEP GOING,CAN YA IMAGINE VIC JR.COMING ON AND SCARING THE HECK OUT OF TODD AND ‘TEA!! IALSO QIUIT WATCHING GH BECAUSE OF THE DUMB AND BORING SONNY’S MOB CRAP .IT SEEMS LIKE LORI WASN’T A FAN OF OLTL HUH?/ SHE DOESN’T KNOW WHAT A GOOD SOAP IS LIKE!! LOL..

This is exciting news for me, a general hospital and one life to live fan, Blair, Kassie depava belongs with Todd and Star, and this One life to live fan is happy that my Manning family stays together, at least I think todd and blair get together, who knows maybe the story of Two todds will continue, Tea, Blair, Todd, star and John have to find out at some time Victor is alive. She is a good actress and can’t wait for her to be in Port charles. Let the comments begin.

Great News.. I wish she was on for good & stay’s on this time…….

I hope she stays to, maybe she is staying on the summer because her son is out of school, I don’t know all I know is I am looking forward to seeing her.

GH has became watchable again because of the OLTL characters! I stopped watching because of too much mob crap & now it’s getting better. Too bad it probably won’t last too long since ABC now has it eyes on killing GH too!

It is good again and we need for the ratings to up even higher.I feel like you do I am worried that abc is going to cancel general hospital I don’t trust them why did they replace the revolution with more garbage news show? That move makes no sense once Katie couric show starts where do they put general hospital?

Totally Cool! I don’t think all the great characters need to be on contract. I know they can be difficult to schedule if they aren’t on contract, but c’mon, with the industry being what it is, having them on short term as the storyline dictates is great for the fans. i’d rather see Kassie/Blair here and there than not at all. I’m a BIG fan.

I’m happy to see Kassie anytime! Yea!

ME TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

me 3!! lol..

I’me freaking giddy right now! What wonderful news. I’ve missed Kassie, and Todd and Blair. TnB are my favorite soap couple of all time, and I hope RC puts them back together – where they belong.

giddy is way to low for what i’m feeling whoopeee!!! lol..

She needs to be on for good. And Victor Jr.

I agree

me too !! we need the mannings to stir up the pot

WE NEED VICTOR/TREVOR STJOHN ,AND FOR TEA AND VICTOR’S BABY TO BE OK.

It’s always nice to have Kassie/Blair present, but I wonder how long we will be tortured over these babies. It’s depressing to think about Tea’s baby dying, especially after the deaths of Jake and Robin. Real life is bad enough with senseless killings, suicides, and unnecessary deaths. Can’t anyone on a soap give birth to a healthy baby and be happy? When was the last time viewers enjoyed happiness vicariously on GH?

Something is going to happen with these two babies, now that crazy Heather is involved she seems to get into everyones lives I don’t want to see her leave but she needs to go back to shaddy brook. I also wonder how did Anthony get that big smile on his face? the last time he was alive he was in shock not believing Johhny would kill him and it was far from a smile Even though I did like the weekend at the guartermaines, well, Maybe for a few hours, Then Somehow Heather takes him for a drive. Looking forward to seeing Kassie depava again miss her as Blair.

LOVE IT , LOVE IT , OVE IT now i’m doing the HAPPY DANCE . I we need Victor back too

YES! I am SO thrilled that Kassie is coming back – Blair should have stayed when she arrived months ago! Excited to see Blair again, more Blair and Carly I hope and of course – Todd and Blair! Should be great. Hoping this turns into a long-term stay. Kassie will rock it – can’t wait to see her return to GH!

All I can say is YAY!!! Finally, Blair gets to come back to GH!! It is hard for me to watch Starr and Tea without having Blair there too. Especially with the storylines with Starr being in jail. We OLTL fans Know that Blair would ave been there with her daughter! Love Kassie Depaiva & her Blair character! Wish she would get put on contract but some Blair is lots better than no Blair!

Yay! Yay! Yay! I hope she stays on GH! They still really need Natalie though! It seems crazy that she hasn’t shown up yet!

Loved the Blair and Carly scenes and hope they will develop a friendship. Enjoying the visitors from Llanview, but do not want them to over-run Port Charles. Keep the integrity of GH and the characters while adding a little bit of OLTL on occasion.

We are glad to hear that Kassie is coming back but, what about Jack and Sam.

she will only be on gh for a short term so she will be coming alone…

Dorian or Vicki are taking care of them, We really need one life to live back. I want to see All my favorite characters from landview, in landview, on one life to live. It will be so good to see Kassie again and I hope she stays.

great that she’s “visiting.” as far as I understand (not sure if this is so but it’s what I read) she didn’t want a contract because she didn’t want to relocate with her family to California.

well, I’ll take a visit from Kassie anytime! I hope she comes for a visit frequently! 😉

I hope she stays this time around, looking forward to seeing her once again.

I’m glad Kassie will be visiting…it would be wonderful if it was permanent ,but then Jack and Sam would have to come to Port Charles too.
It would only make sense.

We all love and miss our OLTL family terribly.
But in fairness the more OLTL characters that are brought on – the less the show is GH.

Just my own opinion.

I hope I’m still watching GH to see her.If Tea and Victor’s baby dies,so does GH for me.

GH needs Kassie/Blair badly. The show needs a center, she would be perfect.

I agree. Blair would be great at GH.

I love Blair. She’s probably one of my top two favorite OLTLers. Hopefully we’ll get at least a week of her in Port Chuck.

VERY good news. I love Kassie and Blair. Ron & Frank have made me a true believer of their talents. I love how they picked this show up off the dusty floor, dusted it off, and made it great again. I hope they bring on more ONE LIFERS. Also, I’m loving how Sonny is being portrayed more like the selfish jackass he is. Long live ONE LIFE TO LIVE…….

OLTL has been cancelled! Do not continue to litter GH with that show’s leftovers.

I know many of you would like to see more and more OLTL characters on GH, but then it wouldn’t be GH any more, would it? I don’t mind an occasional visit, but that’s all that’s needed…as long as it is STORYLINE DICTATED.

And as far as CarTini is concerned, they are just doing re-runs of old shows with new characters. They haven’t had an original idea since they come to GH.

I agree with this post. GH’s quality is much improved since the new creative team took over. ABC cancelled the wrong show. At least a wrong is being partially corrected by merging One Life to Live with General Hospital. It seems they are focusing on the legacy GH characters more while integrating favorites from One Life to Live.

Ok scott, I have to ask, Are you the old or the new Scott, I can’t believe you are saying this, the old scott hates one life to live and he would never, ever, says things are looking up in Port charles and the quality has improved on General hospital. I am in shock. But I will say I agree with your post, everything you are saying is true, General hospital is so good again, I enjoy watching and love the way the writers are integrating our wonderful characters from one life to live in Port charles.

Agree, Jared. Long live One life to live. And everything else you said.

Great news but just wish it was the whole cast of OLTL…But I will take whatever I can get!

Awesome!!!! Now Natalie and for ABC to get over their ego and let OLTL and AMC live somewhere else!!!

Great news!! Too bad she won’t be on contract.

love Kassie love the character blair now make her permanent

but she is still going to be their so i have to glad if I get anything

I have to believe that this will led to more but if I get a piece of chocolate

because i am hoping that once they have once piece of chocolate ( that talent kassie)

viewers will want more and they will drive abc and everyone insane until she is back again

i guess with this baby fiasco going down blair comes to be with her bbf tia & that makes me happy……………

Will be so glad to see her., wish it was permanent. Bring the whole One Life cast to GH or reserect One Life . This was so wrongly canceled. Any network would be so richly rewarded in airing One Life.

love that they are bring Kassie back she is an incredible talent and I love the character of Blair. I hope they write for her. Starr needs her mom blair and I am looking forward to some todd and blair interaction who knows where it will lead but I have not been excited about General Hospital in a long time Bravo Ron and Frank and ABC for finally getting some brains and bringing the talented Kassie back to GH

It will be good to see Blair in action again. I think this is a smart way to handle things with some of the OLTL characters….short arcs that drive story. Have said before that bringing on familiar faces makes good sense as long as they work within the plot.

For a while I thought Natalie would be coming on but, now I don’t think that will be happening. Seems Melissa Archer is getting film work. I guess there will be an off-screen or telephone break-up of Natalie & John.

This isn’t so much a comment on Kassie Depaiva’s brief return as it is about a rumor I am hearing.

I keep hearing about GH’s demise – this time set for the middle of January. But this bit is interesting in that it could be GH or THE CHEW. I think it is IMPERATIVE that all of us do NOT watch anything but GH on ABC daytime. Take it with a big boulder of salt, but if GH gets better ratings, than The Chew could be sold into syndication and GH could stay. Otherwise it is bye bye, GH and hello Good Afternoon America (or whatever the heck they call themselves) and The Chew. Who wants that?

I like Blair and todd together. i like general hopsital alot but unjoy it more seeing my favorite OLTL peope,

I love to see Blair and todd together on general hospital. where did Blair purchase that colorblock dress from? The one she is wearing on general hospital. if anyone know please let me know
