Ken Howard cast as Phyllis and Avery's father on The Young and the Restless!

An yet another bit of stunt casting for The Young and the Restless! Looks like we are finally going to get some more insight into the dynamic between Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Avery (Jessica Collins) and their much talked about father!

Y&R has cast Tony and Emmy winning popular television, stage, and motion picture actor, and the current president of the Screen Actors Guild, Ken Howard to play the long-estranged dad of the dueling sisters!  According to TV Guide, Howard  thus far is set to appear in four episodes. He begins taping this week on January 19th and will appear on-air February 23rd for the first time.

Howard was the star of th70’s series The White Shadow and has appeared in many films and television specials including HBO’s Grey Gardens.  Are you looking forward to seeing Phyllis and Avery’s back-story with their dad and its emotional fallout? Let us know!

Yes,Ken Howard is a wonderful actor …I’ve seen him in all the a fore mentioned shows as well as the miniseries The Thorn Birds.
He will be a welcome addition to Y&R,I look forward to this storyline.

Wow, great casting! MELROSE PLACE fans will remember Ken Howard as Jane & Sydney’s father. The great casting would continue if Y&R were to cast fellow Melrose alum, Donna Mills … who played Jane’s mother … in the role of Phyllis & Avery’s mom! Let the ratings climb begin!!!

GH Alum Hayley Erin and Adam Fergus Tie The Knot

The former Kiki Jerome of General Hospital, Hayley Erin, is married! The news actually came via her own Instagram post when she wished her new hubby, actor Adam Fergus (Ex-Supernatural) a happy birthday while on their honeymoon.

The post by Hayley said: “I had to pop in and wish my husband a happy day of birth… I fuckin love you man @adamfergus ♥️ And many thanks to the incomparable @sheenfalls for our honeymoon.”

In addition, Erin shared several other pics – one of which was Adam’s with his wedding band on.  =Fergus expressed to his bride: “You’re simply the best.”

None other than the actress Erin replaced on GH, Kristen Alderson, also commented on the wedding news sharing: “Husband!?! Yay!!! Congratulations!!!!❤️❤️❤️You two are beyond amazing together, so happy for you!”

‘This Is Us’ Moves Up Season Five Premiere Date

The Pearson family will be back on your screens, much sooner than later!  The upcoming fifth season of the NBC beloved drama, This Is Us will now bow in a two-hour premiere on Tuesday October 27th, instead of the previously announced date of November 10th..

The series is slated to go back into production today on Thursday, September 24th amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The move to a premiere in October a big win for NBC as so many scripted shows and content at the major broadcast networks are very delayed getting back on air or online, and won’t return until November or even later this year, or in 2021.

This Is Us is coming off a second Emmy award for actor Ron Cephas Jones for his guest star performanc as Randall’s (Sterling K. Brown) bio-dad, William Hill.

So looking forward to seeing Justin Hartley, Mandy Moore, Sterling and the gang back for a new season of This Is Us in late October? Comment below.
