General Hospital’s Kim Delaney (Jackie Templeton) stars in the film, executive produced by Deborah Norville. in which she portrays, Mari Gilbert, a mother who becomes alarmed when her daughter Shannan (Katharine Isabelle) is MIA and doesn’t return home. Knowing her daughter sometimes works as an escort, Mari fears the worst.

As those who know the true life story, Mari’s attempt to find her daughter and the subsequent investigation leads to a chilling discovery – the bodies of several other missing women.

In the real life story, the remains of the women were uncovered accidentally as police searched for Shannan, who went missing after visiting a client, whom she met on Craigslist, in the gated community of Oak Beach on Long Island, and then fleeing the man’s home.   However, police believe that Mari’s unwavering fight to find her daughter which led to finding the other women is not how Shannan ultimately disappeared.

While the case has yet to be solved the film shares, “Though the search for the serial killer is still ongoing, Mari’s passionate dedication to giving her daughter and other forgotten women a voice, and the attention they deserve, has kept the case alive with hopes of a breakthrough soon.”

PEOPLE exclusively dropped the trailer over the weekend.  Make sure to check it out.

Once the trailer was released, Delaney shared on her Twitter account: “Amazing director @StanleyMBrooks Thank you so much, Stan!Very special producers, cast and crew. An important story!”

I knew that would happen. Suddenly LifeTime will want to offer more and more until she quits GH. I don’t get that.

As far as I am aware, Kim Delaney seems quite happy at General Hospital, given how much she connects with Frank Valentini and his vision for the soap (per her own words).

Those Lifetime Movies are Disney Media Networks subsidiary- so the ABC soap actors are always cast in those movies..
I watched a couple and those movies eeehh they’re not good.
they are what is known as Cheesy B movies.
but- it’s extra money for the soap actors,
and still those movies are well below par lol.
But- Mom and grandma like them as others do.
Just not for me, nope.

I’d doubt she’d give up GH to be in them, but you never know.

Jane Elliot Returns to General Hospital This April

Although it was previously announced back in January (during ABC’s TCA Winter Press Tour) that Jane Elliot would be returning to General Hospital, the soap opera and Soap Opera Digest have confirmed that Jane’s first episode back will air next month on April 17th.

While Elliot won’t be a part of the Nurses’ Ball which airs the week of April 3rd, as part of the show’s 60th anniversary episodes, the Daytime Emmy-winning fan favorite will be back in action during the anniversary month and beyond.

As viewers know, Jane originally decided to retire back in 2017, and so Tracy was written off to join Luke Spencer in Europe.  Since that time, Elliot has come back to the show for a few appearances.

The last time we saw Tracy was at the beginning of 2022, when she came home to Port Charles to give the shocking and tragic news that Luke had been killed in a cable car crash.  Tracy eventually went back to Amsterdam, where they had been living, to settle his affairs following his death.

Will Tracy’s return help bring down Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) who is believed to be behind Luke’s death? Could Tracy learn Luke is really alive after all? Stay tuned.

So, excited that Jane Elliot’s return to GH is just around the corner? Comment below.
