Kimberlin Brown ‘Killed-Off’ as Sheila Carter on The Bold and the Beautiful in Shocking Twist
The Monday, February 26th episode of CBS daytime’s The Bold and the Beautiful brought with it the apparent end to one of the all-time villains of soap opera.
In story, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was being stalked by Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) in the dark. Eventually, Steffy stabs Sheila in the heart with a knife and she apparently dies.
Speaking with TV Insider, Brown admitted that it is extremely hard to leave a now iconic role she made soap-famous since 1990 on first The Young and the Restless and then The Bold and the Beautiful.

Kimberlin expressed: “It’s a tough place for me to be in right now; I’m not going to lie about this. I guess if anyone were going to take Sheila down, I’m happy it’s Steffy. I just wish that no one was taking Sheila down.” Three time Daytime Emmy-winner, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood expressed: “It’s bittersweet because I absolutely love working with Kimberlin; she is just the consummate professional.”

However, the stabbing is vindication for Steffy as Wood related, “This is her moment. How long has it taken Steffy to take her down and it’s finally happening, so it’s going to be a big shock.”
As to her B&B death scene and to her future plans, Brown revealed, “Laying there on that floor when the paramedics pronounce the time of death, my eyes were closed and you’re holding your breath so it doesn’t look like you’re breathing. It was just like, ‘Wow, OK, I guess we’ll have to see what might come next for me.’”

If this holds up and Sheila is “dead” dead, it will open up the story and trouble in the marriage of Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy, because ultimately, Steffy killed her husband’s biological mother.

This is leading many to believe this move will bring Steffy back together with Liam (Scott Clifton) while Finn and Hope (Annika Noelle) draw closer. Is that part of the reason for Sheila’s death? Stay tuned.
What do you think about The Bold and the Beautiful killing-off Sheila Carter and Steffy to be the one who put an end to her life? Comment below.
Sheila Carter is not dead, it appears that way. I read something online that Sheila will be back.
Oh please. Everyone knows it was all a dream, it was her not-evil twin, it was someone wearing a mask, it was Roger Howarth…
No wonder nobody watches soaps anymore.
Terrible mistake if this is true. I will no longer watch B&B if they made this mistake without thinking of their fans.
She needs to stay dead. It is ridiculous how many times she has come back from the dead. I admit I am not a fan of KB her politics are really creepy!!
I hope they don’t kill Sheila off . She makes the show
The show has pulled this stunt SO many times with characters supposedly dead or dying that ten people could have seen Sheila burning to death and I still wouldn’t believe it. But if any character needs to stay dead, she’s the one. Sheila is an overplayed, one-note psychopath that should never be revived. Her constantly escaping punishment for her crimes is totally unrealistic and irritating, especially this last time when Deacon made that ludicrous deal with the judge. Why so many viewers love her and are in awe of the actress has always baffled me.
So you can’t wait a few days or use a spoiler-free headline? Some of us have to go to work at an office and can’t watch the show until later. Consider “[SPOILER] killed off in today’s episode” or similar headlines that other sites use in the future please.
She is not dead /Brad thinks this is the goose who laid the golden egg. Firing KA/Taylor totally stupid so once again she won’t be with her daughter. I just can’t with this show.
NO, NO, NO to Steffy & Laim, Finn & Hope!!!
NO ON FINN AND HOPE!! Please
Sheila should stay dead! Yay for Steffy
How about Deacon and Brook? Or Bring Taylor back, they had great chemistry!!
Hope and Thomas actually look like they really love one another!
I hope she has a miracle healing. Then Sheila returns to Genoa City next. There’s no way the writer’s should end her legacy on B&B. She needs to find her way back to Genoa City.
B&B’s best years were always the ones involving Sheila. She better be back fast.
I agree. The best years to me were the ones with Stephanie Sr and Brook going at it. No one could slap a face like Susan Flannery. I use to love watching the two of them go at it.
I don’t believe Sheila is dead, most likely she planned the whole thing, and had someone be her, someone who wanted to die or was going to die anyway— it is the perfect way to drive a wedge between Steffy and Finn, have that marriage fall apart, so she can have Finn in her life without Steffy getting in the way.
Speaking of Sheila dying, does anyone know how they explained Sheila being alive after Lauren shot her dead on the Young and the Restless, when Sheila had plastic surgery to look like Phyllis? I wasn’t watching B&B when the character Sheila first appeared on canvas, so don’t know if the show addressed that “death” or if they simply introduced her without her back story in Genoa City.
I think that I am more in shock than Kimberlin Brown. Agree that Steffy or Finn should have brought her down after she shot them both. But this character had a lot more story in my book so this could be a ratings mistake in the future for Brad Bell and B&B. If it is truly the end, I wish Kimberlin the best as she is one of the best actresses in daytime history. Goodbye for now.
Do not put Finn with Hope, no chemistry whatsoever, might as well put her back with the other non chemistry person. No one wants that. Finn shoukd stand by his wife.
I agree To me Liam was and always will be a whiny whimp. I say leave Finn and Steffie alone
I think it will open the door a steam reunion.
I’m sad to see Sheila go. Maybe she can “return” to Y&R.
I don’t like Sheila being killed on the show.
We all know Sheila’s never really dead. Lol. In the meantime she would be great as an evil long lost Cassadine on GH
GH struggles to write for the actresses in Brown’s age group. No need to add another to the mix when legacy characters don’t have story.
I will seriously stop watching this great soap and I know a lot of other people too will stop if Liam and Steffy get together again. Finn and Steffy are meant to be together.
Sheila Carter helps to make B&B great. Kimberlin Brown is an excellent actress and imo, nobody could play Sheila as good as Kimberlin. I do not see anywhere that her contract ended, not that she got fired. I did see on another Internet site that Sheila’s long time friend, “Sugar” went there to kill Steffy and instead “Sugar” got killed. There had been a couple scenes recently where Sheila went to visit someone. It could have been “Sugar” who was on the show decades ago as Sheila’s evil friend. I do not know if this is 100% true or not but it could be because there was a veil over her face when she was still outside of Steffy’s apartment looking in. There is a possibility she may have had plastic surgery to make herself look like Sheila. I am stumped with this one as I have watched both B&B and y&r since they both started and I do not see anywhere where Sheila’s contract had ended nor she got fired. I for one hope that she is still a part of the show because she is an excellent actress at being evil.
Sheila cannot be dead. If she’s out, im out. Period. She IS the bold in bold and beautiful. Without her, the story is definitely in pieces.
Sheila is framing Steffy for murder to get her out of the picture so she can be there for Finn. This would be the shocker of all shockers!!!!!!
I won’t believe that Shelia is dead until they count the toes!
Sheila was the reason to watch bold and beautiful, the rest of the stories so boring. Some story line over and over, blah, blah
Really hope the writers don’t bring Finn and Hope together…. and Liam doesn’t need a woman, he’s just like a fish as much as he flip flops from one to another, please. Writers makin him look stupid.

A AND MARCY’S DESIRE TO WORK TOGETHER AGAIN
In a moment that brought joy to those in attendance, A and Marcy both expressed a sincere hope and desire that one day they can work together again. Martinez explained, “There’s more avenues to pursue now than there have ever been. I would say just keep a good thought for it. I’ve been holding it for decades, and I fully intend to do whatever I can to make it happen. We’re engaged in trying to make it happen. And you know, we’ll see. I know we both want to do it.” Marcy simply nodded and responded “Amen.”
Melissa Braverman shared with Michael Fairman TV, her sentiments on hosting the Santa Barbara favorites. “Seeing A and Marcy together again, even virtually, was an absolute gift. ‘Days of Our Lives’ Officially Confirms Ryan Quan Returning as Co-Head Writer Beginning in July
There is definitely a shake-up going down at the writing team at Peacock’s Days of Our Lives. Now, the long-running soap opera has confirmed, what has been previously reported, that current General Hospital breakdown writer, Ryan Quan is heading back to his old stomping grounds in Salem. This time as the series co-head writer.
The appointment of Quan comes with the official news that current co-head writer, Paula Cwikly, who was previously rumored to be departing the series, is not. She is staying with the soap opera and transitioning to a consultant role with the show. Now, Quan will join current co-head writer, Jeanne Marie Ford to steer the ship for the characters on the canvas.
On Wednesday, TV Insider, reported the official confirmation and that Quan will return to DAYS next month in July. In a statement to the outlet, executive producer, Ken Corday expressed, ‘We are lucky to have Ryan back in the fold. THE FUTURE OF DAYS OF OUR LIVES
Since Days of our Lives unusual production schedule tapes ten-months ahead of air, the new creative team’s vision led by Quan and Jeanne Marie Ford are not expected to stream on Peacock until mid-2027.
Days of Our Lives is currently renewed through its 63rd season. The former NBC soap opera which transitioned to Peacock in September of 2022, celebrate its 60th anniversary in November of 2025.
The writing regime change comes after NBCUniversal Media Chairman Matt Strauss revealed that Peacock is expected to turn a profit for the first time in the current quarter, punctuating their investment with the enduring soap opera on its platform.
As for Quan, his knowledge of Salem is tremendous. Ryan joined Days of Our Lives as a writer’s assistant in 2007 after some time over at Passions. He then spent two decades and held every position on the writing team where he previously served as co-head writer from 2016-17 alongside Dena Higley.
Later, when Ron Carlivati took over as head writer for 7 years in 2017, Quan became his right-hand man and main story consultant for his deep knowledge of the history and the legacy of the show. After Carlivati exited the show in 2024, General Hospital hired Quan in 2025.
So, what do you think about DAYS making it official with Ryan Quan as the new co-head writer of the series alongside Jeanne Marie Ford. What do you think about the fact we won’t see the changes on-screen till 2027? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

ABC Announces ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Texas Spin-Off Gets Straight-to-Series Order
In a surprise move, coming a week after ABC unveiled its 2026-2027 fall television schedule, Grey’s Anatomy is getting a new spinoff co-created by the original series’ creator/executive producer Shonda Rhimes.
The new untitled medical drama will be written and executive produced by Rhimes and Grey’s Anatomy showrunner/executive producer Meg Marinis under the Shondaland and 20th Television umbrella. In addition, long-running ‘Grey’s’ star Ellen Pompeo will also serve as an EP of the spinoff.
The upcoming new series will debut midseason in 2027. This will be the first of Grey’s franchise not set in urban city or West Coast locale. According to Deadline, the new “edgy drama is about a team at a rural West Texas medical center — the last chance for care before miles of nowhere.”

Photo: ABC
In a statement, Marinis shared, “I am incredibly excited to expand the Grey’s Anatomy universe. This opportunity will bring new characters and stories to life that will embody the same heart, emotion and connection audiences have loved from Grey’s for more than two decades — all set in my home state of Texas. I am so grateful to Shonda Rhimes for creating this dynamic world and feel so fortunate that I get to be a part of it.”
A NEW GROUP OF DOCTORS IN RURAL TEXAS
The Texas spinoff will feature a a new group of doctors, but there will be some connection to the OG Grey’s Anatomy and possibly to Debbie Allen’s character of Catherine Fox. The amount of episodes in the series order has not yet been determined. Previous Grey’s Anatomy spinoffs were the defunct Station 19 and Private Practice.
Previously, Grey’s Anatomy was renewed for its upcoming 23rd season while the amount of episodes is unclear. The last two seasons the series produced 18 episodes.
It should also be noted, Grey’s Anatomy and the Texas spinoff would likely share a time period, which requires limited-run orders for both with Grey’s premiering in the fall, followed by the spinoff on the midseason programming block.
So, what do you think about a Texas spinoff of Grey’s Anatomy coming in 2027? Who would you like to see from daytime or primetime as some of the featured roles as new doctors? Put on your casting directors hat and let us know via the comment section below.
