In the end, where does Andrea’s appearance on the canvas inform Molly and TJ’s ultimate decision on surrogacy and the offer that was originally presented by Kristina (Kate Mansi)?
Share your thoughts on Lily appearing GH as a potential surrogate, and where you hope this storyline goes from here via the comment section below.
I wouldn’t know according to Soap Opera digest because it always comes two weeks late!!!!
Keeping it in the family. The show has been great lately.
That’s great but what happen to why Nicholas cassadine not showing up at the wedding a few months back?
The temporary writers have been much better than their regular staff.
Dear gawd— we’re getting a Curtis blah pity party and a Molly surrogate ho-hum blah story that could carry on for 9 months/year..
What is happening to my once-on-the-edge-of-my-seat soap?
I don’t know I just don’t know—
00hh and Willow’s cancer story was a FF nothing going on there, either….
Totally agree on everything with you.
Agreed with you on that Su000!
There’s plenty of on the edge of your seat story lines like Greenland, Anna getting shot at and now the fire, Nina’s lies catching up to her, The Pikeman connection to Sonny, Anna, Valentine and Austin,Ava and the bald dude, Drew and Carly prison Saga, Sasha in Ferncliffe and Cody saving her from Gladys and that evil doctor and his troubles with Nina Wu and claiming inheritance that’s not his, and when will Max Scorpio find out he’s Cody’s dad. Lucy Coe and Martin’s lies and Deceptor rights being hijacked by Tracy and whoever she’s connected to on the other side of her phone. When will nikolas surface and now that maxi is going to rent Lulu and Dante’s home will Lulu wake up? They showed her in a coma a few weeks ago. Where’s Bobby’s son Lucas and will he be back for her funeral. Lucky has been gone way too long and i really wish they would bring back Natasha Livingston as Emily Quartermain and Tyler Christopher as Nikolas. They were a dynamic couple. And I miss Steve Burton as Jason. Covid’s over now.. And I believe the old Esme will be back but before she comes back she’ll cause a riff between Trina and Spencer and we haven’t seen the last of her mother Heather Weber to strike again in a murdering spree. I’d like to see Jordan with Curtis but first his new physical therapist is going to try to win Jordan and boy is he a handsome man! Nothing boring about General Hospital at all. Everyday can’t be a cliffhanger or just watch it Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays. Have a nice day
I agree, Suoo. No more baby hungry storylines and misery porn!!
I think it’s awesome! But then I suppose there will be friction between the maybe surrogate and Kristina and they’ll connect in a different way, making it all about her again. I love Gregory Harrison and you just know he’s proud of his daughter and I have watched Josh Swickard and his lovely wife on movies together. They are adorable. I have no clue what the person asking about Nicolas and a wedding is about and don’t even see the connection.
Yeah, I was like “what wedding?” Michael and Willow’s?
Is everyone so dumb as to not pick up on Gladys?
That storyline is so old and needs to go. How much longer are they going to drag it out? It’s beyond boring.
I had to stop watching the show because of the storyline. Drugging her own beautiful daughter-in-law who has suffered so much and has been so kind to her, so that she can go play cards at the club? It’s really too far, I can’t stand watching it.
Wish Sonny would get involved in what happened to Sasha. Story has to end and have Gladys and the Dr
Pay.
What’s up with the Hallmark invasion lately? Is that where the scab writers came from?
They r really moving forward with this storyline!? I dont understand this couples significance at all. We have to endure an entire pregnancy…birth..etc of this couple? What r they?….20 years of age?…unmarried….and so desparate to have a child….ARGH! Doesnt make sense. Not soap entertaining!
I don’t think they are 20 if TJ is a doctor and Molly is a DA prosecutor. They have to be closer to 27. TJ is no longer a resident and Molly has been working as a lawyer for close to 2 years. That’s og they started college at 17. They are in a Domestic partnership but after the baby is here or before I think they will change their mind about marriage. Molly didn’t want to be married because she saw what her parents divorce did to her. She doesn’t need a piece of paper to bind their union and thinks it will divide them and may lead to their divorce. TJ wanted to get married and have children. What I want to know is why hasn’t she tried IVF.. I know quite a few couples that went through it through Planned Parenthood for a year and have successfully gotten pregnant. There are so many natural supplements that increase your egg production and sperm count. I can name a number of them. I’d start with those supplements and diet changes, exercise and stress relieving activities and lots of intimacy.
I’m so tired of Nina, will this sham with Willow and Somny end with her lies and deceit.
It’s ok for the surrogate but please not a lot of drama. Mollie and T J have been rather stable and young lovers!
So much lately that makes me tired. Please no more new characters. That doesn’t help anything and many of the newer characters are just terrible actors like some of the older ones. Maybe it’s time for me to read a book so I can imagine my own characters. I’m a better writer anyway.
For reporting a crime? My only bone of contention with Nina is she should have reported Carly for tampering with Willow’s DNA test results. Now no one could blame Nina fir that.
So true! Why do Carly get away with all she do like sleeping with anyone she wants and she doesn’t have amnesia. Please find someone else to play Drew’s role. The present actor is not believable. I am sick of joss’ attitude towards Sonny, and Michael to. Please stop putting Nina in these roles that makes her look bad. I like Nina and I think she is good for Sonny. Find a better Trina. This one can’t act and she looks nothing like Curtis or his doctor wife Porcha. I don’t want Curtis back with sneaky jordan. I really miss the original Kristina and Molly. Please no more new replacements, and please let Nina have her relationship with her daughter Willow. Wouldn’t that be great??? Gladys needs to be stopped for what she is doing to her daughter in law and only Sonny can stop it. I wish Cody and Sam would go to Sonny and tell him what they know about what greedy Gladys is doing.
Your words are Gospel, Harry.
Nina’s relationship with Willow may be fragile, but not a sham. Nina loves her daughter—you know, the one who was ripped from her body while in a coma? If Carly had not manipulated and schemed, things would have turned out for the better. Love Nina!!
i think in some strange turn of events, kristina and tj gonna sleep together,Boom, kristina is pregnant!
LOL—I like that, Diana. Now, that’s edgy—
I get there’s a writers strike, but I don’t understand why there’s not been a real tear jerking proper send of for nurse Bobbie Spencer (Jaclyn Zeaman) as of yet!?! I would like to know what is up with Dr.Monica Quartermaine. Also, me thinks they should bring back Lois to snap Eddie Maine back to reality!! Bring back Jason!!!
The producers are probably waiting for the regular writers to return before creating the major storyline of Bobbie’s passing. The temporary writers are likely just continuing with the outlines of stories begun before the strike. Also, the hospital just had the characters of Britt and Epiphany pass on so it’s probably okay to wait a short while before they address Bobbie.
Leslie Charleson has no obligation to tell the fans about whatever situation she’s going through. Is it awkward that she hasn’t been on screen for 18 months, yes, but the show made the right decision not to recast a 45 year vet. If she’s up for more audio appearances (like during Epiphany’s memorial) that would be a benefit.
Boring….
Sick of the same ole stories… Why y’all come up with a “miracle” and let this precious couple carry their own bundle of joy!! Good grief!!
Definitely hope Molly & TJ use a non-family member as their surrogate (Lily Harrison ?). Too many future complications could arise when family is chosen. Also miss the actress who portrayed Christina for years but really like her replacement Kate Mansi. Do not care for both the two actresses who have been and is now portraying Molly. Molly’s voice was mature as her character is, neither of the 2 new ones come close. Keep casting for Molly’s replacement, better yet, bring original Molly back. She’s penalized enough for her mishap, don’t penalize her career.
I fully and TOTALLY AGREE. I. MISS. HER. PLEASE LET HER COME BACK!!!! PLEASSSEEE!!!
For a minute I thought Lily would take the role of Lulu—that would be a blessing. No more Dante and Sam.
Aside—I wonder if Cody pretends to “lose” it just to get institutionalized, and expose Gladys and the psycho doctor. Pardon the pun.
As far as facial features go, I could see her as Luke & Laura’s daughter. Though I think she’s considerably taller than either of the previous Lulus… and mortals in their 30s usually don’t grow taller… especially while in a coma. And she might even be taller than Dante… which might be … awkward?
Since she seems to be the chosen one for surrogate duty, doesn’t look like she’s going to be “NuLu” though. I’m thinking Lulu leaves veggieland as soon as Laura’s back from summer vacation, and obviously the surrogate storyline will take longer than that.
Still holding out a sliver of hope that the original Lulu comes back, of course.
Frank & Mark are staying with their new casting approach. Since Brooke Anne Smith was put in as Molly, Kim Zimmer will be the new Lulu.
As usual, your words make sense, Satan—I’m not into a woman being taller than her male partner either—Such as Abby and Devon in Y&R—they look ridiculous. I think she can actually pick him up and carry him —like Dom?

‘General Hospital’s’ Maurice Benard Talks: New ‘Sonny’ Storyline, His Contract, and Three Characters He Would Want to See Back in Port Charles

Three-time Daytime Emmy-winner Maurice Benard teased what’s on deck for General Hospital’s Sonny Corinthos, his future with the soap opera, and just who he would love to see make a return, during an in-depth conversation with ESPN Radio New York host, Ty Butler.
Benard appeared this week on Butler’s You Tube channel, and it’s clear that Butler and his real-life family are deep fans of General Hospital, so he had some pointed questions for Maurice from what’s happening currently in Port Charles to look backs at Sonny’s past.
Now that Sonny has decided to get out of the mob, Benard teased what’s coming up for the apparent “former” mobster, “When (the writers) told me I was out of the mob it didn’t throw me. I was like, ‘let’s see what I can do here.’ There were a lot of people during the hey day of the gangster period (on GH), who did not like it. (They would say) ‘It’s too much Sonny, it’s too much violence.'”

Photo: ABC
WITH SONNY OUT OF THE MOB, WHAT’S NEXT?
However, the long-running GH mainstay added, “I don’t care what I’m doing as long as Sonny maintains power, and that power doesn’t mean killing people, or being a gangster. You can be powerful in business. You can be powerful over here, and I think they’re doing that. I do know the story (coming up) and I can’t say (much more), but it’s really amazing. When I heard about it, I said, “Oh, wow!”‘
This week, Maurice marks his 33rd anniversary in the role of Sonny. It’s a role he began back on-screen on August 13, 1993. But how many years might the popular star have left in the tank to remain in Port Charles? Maurice explained his position on that, “My contract is up February or March (2027). So up until then, I’ll just tell you guys that the upcoming story, I’m very happy with it.”
He added, “I’m not going to retire soon, but I’m at a certain point where I can retire if I wanted. But, I don’t want to as long as I’m happy at GH, and I’ve been happy at GH for a while now. So, they’re going have to kick me out. They’re going to have to say, “Nah, we’ve had enough. Get the hell out.”‘

Photo: JPI
HOW WOULD THE END COME FOR SONNY CORINTHOS IF MAURICE BENARD EVER EXITED GENERAL HOSPITAL?
During their conversation, Butler asked, if the time would come that Maurice were to make an exit from General Hospital, how would he like it to go down. The longtime GH star had an answer that if he were to leave, he should go out on a big cliffhanger. “Something happens to one of his children and it’s his fault. Sonny can’t take it,” explains Maurice on his Port Charles alter-ego. “He goes home, he takes a shot of whiskey. (Then), Sonny goes upstairs and all you hear is BOOM. And it goes to black. Now, if it were a movie, it would work. But let me tell you something … it’s a soap opera. You don’t know if Sonny did it! You don’t know if somebody else did it, set it all up to make him look like he did. You don’t know. So there’s a big story there, right?”
BLASTS FROM THE PAST
When asked by the ESPN radio host, what cast member would he like to see return to the show? Benard named three characters, and they are: Brenda (Vanessa Marcil), Luke (the late Anthony Geary, obviously that was stated as Benard misses him dearly) and Morgan (last played by Bryan Craig).
You can check out the full conversation with Maurice below on the The Ty Butler Show.
Now, let us know, what do you think is the new storyline that is about to kick-off, other than we know Sonny is getting out of the mob, and wants to get Sidwell’s assets and keep them away from Drew? Glad to hear Maurice does not plan on leaving General Hospital anytime soon? And, do you agree with Maurice … would you like to see the characters of Brenda and Morgan come back to the Port Charles canvas? Let us know via the comment section.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Michael Gets Willow Right Where He Wants Her, Curtis is Found Guilty and Sentenced to Prison

The Thursday, August 13 episode of General Hospital gave us just what Michael (Rory Gibson) was going to do to Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), now that he had the goods on her that she shot Drew, the verdict in the Curtis (Donnell Turner) vs. Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) case, and left us with Trina (Tabyana Ali) alone with her stalker nearby. Let’s take a look at how it all went down!
When Willow arrived at the Quartermaines to pick up Wiley and Amelia, she was stopped in her tracks when Michael confronted her armed with the truth that she shot Drew (Cameron Mathison) twice in the back. She denies it. However, Michael pulls out of an envelope signed affidavits from Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina, explaining they were at Drew’s house that night and have proof.
Michael explains her ring tone went off on her phone while she was getting ready to shoot Drew, and it was a match for Wiley’s. Kai and Trina heard the same ringtone at the courthouse when she stood trial for attempted murder. Willow threw the fact that she can’t be tried again in a court of law because of double jeopardy. However, Michael stopped her ranting and says double jeopardy doesn’t apply in family court.

HOW MICHAEL GOT THE UPPER HAND ON WILLOW
Now, Michael is ready to expose her crime. Suddenly, Willow grabs the rolling pin on the counter to strike Michael, but he is able to block her. Michael tells Willow she either accepts the arrangement he is about to tell her, or she will never see her children again. Willow tries to counter that Jacinda drugged her and she can prove it. However, Michael lets it be known that Jacinda is long gone with no forwarding address.
Next, Michael tells Willow she can remain a part of their children’s lives and he will keep their current custody arrangement as long as she moves back into the gatehouse. Willow hates the gatehouse, but knows she has no other option, so she says she will pack up her things at Nina’s and move in.

GUILTY!
At the courthouse, the jury has reached a verdict in the case of Curtis vs. Isaiah. When the jury comes back before the court, the jury foreperson shares, “We find the defendant, Curtis Ashford, guilty of second-degree assault and battery.” In lieu of the verdict, the judge sentences Curtis to ten years in prison at Pentonville with the possibility of parole in two years.
Curtis’ attorney Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) tells his client he has gotten him 48 hours before he had to report to prison, and planned to file an appeal with the courts on the verdict. Curtis then says heartfelt goodbyes with Trina and Jordan (Tanisha Harper), before heading over to Portia’s (Brook Kerr) to see his newborn son, Desmond knowing he will not see him for quite a long time.
WHO’S THE STALKER?
Trina and Kai are at now at Bobbie’s. They talk about her father going to prison, and Trina is channeling her feelings into her songwriting. Kai decides to let Trina be by herself so she can focus and he won’t be a distraction. However, after Kai makes his exit, someone is looking through the windows at Bobbie’s and targeting Trina. But who? We fade to black.
So, what did you think about Michael having the goods on Willow and knowing she shot Drew? Were you happy about how he used the information to gain the upper hand to get her to move back into the Quartermaines gatehouse? Were you hoping for a different outcome? Are we just a short time away from Michael and Willow being back together as a couple after everything that has happened? Then, what did you think of the verdict in Curtis’ case? Glad he going away to prison for what he did? Do you care, or do not really care? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

‘General Hospital’s’ Carlo Rota Shares His Run as Sidwell Has NOT Come to an End

After General Hospital viewers learned this week from Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) was sentenced to 31 years in prison with a possibility for parole in 26 years for all of his crimes (after he had taken a plea deal with the Port Charles court system), fans were wondering the status of Rota with the show.
With so many recent on-screen exits, GH viewers were concerned that Rota was the next casualty, although his character of Sidwell deserves to be put a way for life, it appears we may see him back, and from his jail cell. Could he wind up being the cellmate of Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), who on today’s August 13 episode was sentenced to 10 years in prison with a possibility of parole for two years, for physically attacking Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson)? Stay tuned.
Meanwhile, Sidwell’s portrayer, Carlo Rota gave a clue as to his character’s whereabouts during his General Hospital Fan Club Weekend event, along with his wife Nazneen Contractor (Justine, GH), according to a report from Soap Central.

Photo: ABC
WHAT IS SIDWELL’S FUTURE AND WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH HIS BUSINESS HOLDINGS?
Rota told the crowd in attendance that Sidwell will soon be seen in Pentonville and his scenes will also include another familiar face from the Port Charles canvas. Could it be Curtis or someone else yet to be thrown into the slammer? Carlo teased, “I am in prison with another character from the show. We share a cell.”
The last time anyone saw Jenz Sidwell was back on the July 6 episode when he was in the interrogation room at the PCPD and tried to make a deal with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).
The deal was that he wanted Jordan to get her hands on his money from his offshore bank accounts and in return, he can get her hooked up with the best plastic surgeon in the world (the one in Germany that Michael went to) and she can jump ahead over the waiting list. However, Jordan turned him down flat, although the thought of fixing her face still weighs heavily upon her.
GH viewers first met Sidwell, the newest villain in town to go up against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for the his territory, back in August of 2024.
Flash-forward to late summer of 2026, there has been plenty of talk by Sonny and now Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to take over Sidwell’s business holdings that will be up for auction, most likely setting the stage for Drew and Sidwell to be in cahoots, or some other shenanigans to get back at Sonny.
So, are you glad to know that there will be more Sidwell on the way soon? Do you wish the character would just already be off the canvas for good? Glad that Curtis got 10-year prison sentence, or don’t care? Let us know your thoughts via the comment section.
