All My Children’s Lindsay Hartley (Cara) took to twitter today to share her excitement in news that apparently, she is breaking first!  Daytime Emmy winner, Darnell Williams  (Jesse Hubbard) has signed on with Prospect Park to continue with the series when it makes it debut in its new home – The Online Network. (TOLN.com)

Here is what Hartley tweeted, “Hello everyone! PP update.  Darnell Williams has officially signed on!! More to come xo”

That is good news since fans have been eagerly awaiting to know what other All My Children cast members have agreed to come on board with the shows move to the web.  Thus far we know Cameron Mathison, Hartley, and now Darnell! So what do you think of the news? Who else, at this point,  are you most hoping will sign-on? Let us know!

I’m still waiting for Susan Lucci to sign! I want to see her do both a primetime role and All My Children.

Thankful to Lindsay, Cam, & Darnell for enlisting! I would like to see just about everyone else from AMC sign on w/ Prospect Park! For starters, Vincent Irizarry, Jordi Vilasuso, Michael E. Knight, J.R. Martinez, Cady McClain, Walt Willey, Bobbie Eakes, Rebecca Budig, Alicia Minshew, all the kids, Susan Lucci, Ricky & Chrishell…well as I was saying…everyone! And bring back more former stars!

Thank you for the news. I’m getting somewhat skeptical over the way they are pursuing the AMC stars. Though I love Darnell williams, his signing isn’t enough to get me to watch. And certainly, Lindsay Hartley and Cameron Matheson are no incentives either. When I hear Susan Lucci, Alicia Minshew , and Thorsten Kaye have signed on maybe I’ll be more enthusiastic. By the way, who made Lindsay Hartley the Pine valley Gazette on twitter? Shouldn’t this kind of an announcement come from Prospect Park? Or can’t they afford a PR person yet?

I’m a bit skeptical too….and like you, I find it funny that Lindsey is being the PR person for letting the fans know who is signing on to AMC. Maybe she’s doing it because she is in fear of the fans moving on and losing all interest. Although, I don’t think it helps to know that Darnell is signing on, when we know Debbi is now on Y&R…Jessie with no Angie, how fun is that gonna be? 🙁 I’m not for sure the fans are gonna get those names that we want to hear so badly….I think a large number… Read more »

Great news! I became a new viewer of AMC because of following my favorite Lindsay Hartley there when she joined the show, but very quickly fell in love with Michael E. Knight. Please, oh please, Prospect Park bring MEK to AMC 2.0!!! I’m also hoping that Vincent Irizzary and Jordi Vilasuso will sign up as well. Love to see Jill Larson back as Opal.

I have my doubts about the success of continuing AMC online. I think things were way too rushed. I agree with Torrey about the actors having a “bad taste” about how AMC was ruined by the network execs over the last few years. Read Carolyn Hinsey’s new book and it will really open your eyes about the goings on that contributed to AMC’s demise.
OLTL was given more time to wrap things up and have PP start negotiations with their actors. Seems to me OLTL has a better shot of continuing seemlessly onto the internet.

I agree with the prior comment. It may be too late now for AMC to rebuild and continue, as it was so ruined and quickly rushed off the air. ONE LIFE TO LIVE may have a better chance at retaining some of the actors and carrying momentum to its new platform. This all is such a tragedy. With so much upheaval in the world and in America, we need some sort of grounding continuity, and our beloved daytime dramas have provided that for so long. I urge my fellow fans to stay vigilant and boycott abc, especially the goo, except… Read more »

Thrilled about Darnell, but Susan Lucci’s a deal breaker for me. Pine Valley without Erica Kane? Not for me.

I am excited that Lindsay, Cam and Darnell are on board. The Minx fans want to see Christina and Sarah approached/offered and sign on. Bianca’s character is too important to PV and Marissa too. Much more story to tell with them. Plus, hello, they are perfect age/target mkt age range for online, fairly new to AMC family, fantastic amazing actresses with a HUGE fanbase! Really feel it would be a big mistake to not have them on board.

That’s great. Can AMC go live with just 3 characters? Are they going to sit in a room and just stare at each other or is this a love triangle that will play 5 days a week for years to come?? Come on PP!! Who’s next… you need to work a little harder and a little smarter if you’re going to resurrect AMC anytime in the next 6 months.

Good news! Question is how will the absence of Angie be explained? I guess Lindsay was so eager to share the good news b/c that means she and Cam aren’t the only ones. I get why she did it, and it’s cool with me.
