LISTEN TO THE BROADCAST: Soap Nation Live! with Michael Fairman with Co-Host Kelly Sullivan & Guests: Scott Clifton, Darin Brooks, Vinessa Antoine and Scott Elrod!

Last night on the November edition of Soap Nation Live with Michael Fairman, we welcomed our very special in-studio co-host The Young and the Restless Kelly Sullivan (Sage) for a lively and entertaining 90 minute broadcast.

Michael and Kelly welcomed their “Soap Nation Live November Sweeps” line-up of guests throughout the show which included: The Young and the Restless Scott Elrod (Joe), The Bold and the Beautiful’s Darin Brooks (Wyatt) and Scott Clifton (Liam), and General Hospital’s Vinessa Antoine (Jordan).

Kelly Sullivan discussed throughout the episode myriad of Y&R related topics including: what it has been like for her working with the new Adam Newman … Justin Hartley, what is potentially going on between Sage and Adam, and why Sage was dressed in a cloak at the church when she was apparently spying on Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan)! Kelly also reveals how she got the call from Y&R’s EP Jill Farren Phelps that the number one soap had a new role specifically in mind for Kelly.

Scott Elrod of The Young and the Restless was the first guest of the night.  One of the newest cast members called-in and admitted he too is trying to figure out what angle, his character of Avery’s ex Joe Clark, is working! Plus, Scott talks about his time on the series Men in Trees and working opposite Anne Heche, and that his mom is a big fan of the soaps.  Then, Scott chimes in on what he thinks of some of his male co-stars including: Steve Burton (Dylan) and Colin (Tristan Rogers).

The Bold and the Beautiful’s Darin Brooks (Wyatt) and Scott Clifton (Liam) joined Michael and Kelly (Nathan) in-studio to preview the November Sweeps Amsterdam storyline which kicked-off this Friday on the CBS soap opera.  The duo also commented on the shocking news this week for fans of the series, that their longtime co-star Kim Matula (Hope) has decided to leave B&B and has already taped her final scenes.  Later, Darin and Scott played a hilarious game show segment designed specifically for them entitled, “Which Bro Said DAT?”  In it,  Kelly and Michael read lines of dialog said by either Liam or Wyatt, and Scott and Darin had to try to recall and figure out which one of their characters said it!

General Hospital’s Vinessa Antoine joined Michael and Kelly later in-studio where we got the skinny on what is up with DEA agent Jordan Ashford!  Vinessa also revealed she loves working with Tony Geary, who is now back taping at GH after his medical leave and vacation, and that she does know the true identify of whoFluke” truly is! The talented star also chimed in on: getting the opportunity to work with one of her childhood idols, Finola Hughes (Anna), what she thinks of of the chemistry with her on-screen beau, Sean Blakemore, what she thought of the scenes where Jordan took the rap for Ava running over Jason Morgan, and being tied up in bubble wrap thanks to Heather Webber (Robin Mattson).  The cutest moment of the night came when Vinessa’s young son called in to ask a question to his mom!

Now below listen to the entire broadcast of Soap Nation Live! with co-host Kelly Sullivan, and then let us know what your favorite moment of the episode!

I enjoyed the interview with Vinessa Antoine and Kelly Sullivan. Thanks for sharing Michael. Not surprised at all that Vinessa Antoine stated she liked working with William DeVry. Their chemistry jumps off the screen!

Jane Elliot Returns to General Hospital This April

Although it was previously announced back in January (during ABC’s TCA Winter Press Tour) that Jane Elliot would be returning to General Hospital, the soap opera and Soap Opera Digest have confirmed that Jane’s first episode back will air next month on April 17th.

While Elliot won’t be a part of the Nurses’ Ball which airs the week of April 3rd, as part of the show’s 60th anniversary episodes, the Daytime Emmy-winning fan favorite will be back in action during the anniversary month and beyond.

As viewers know, Jane originally decided to retire back in 2017, and so Tracy was written off to join Luke Spencer in Europe.  Since that time, Elliot has come back to the show for a few appearances.

The last time we saw Tracy was at the beginning of 2022, when she came home to Port Charles to give the shocking and tragic news that Luke had been killed in a cable car crash.  Tracy eventually went back to Amsterdam, where they had been living, to settle his affairs following his death.

Will Tracy’s return help bring down Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) who is believed to be behind Luke’s death? Could Tracy learn Luke is really alive after all? Stay tuned.

So, excited that Jane Elliot’s return to GH is just around the corner? Comment below.
