Mia St. John Sets Record Straight On Report About Y&R's Kristoff St. John As "Fabricated Information" And That "An Incident Occurred"

The ex-wife of The Young and the Restless, Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters) made an official statement to ET following an item from TMZ on Sunday that said that the Daytime Emmy-winning actor had allegedly threatened to kill himself with a gun after allegedly sending photos to her, and was hospitalized and placed under psychiatric evaluation.
Mia St. John, revealed that these reports are “inaccurate”, but that an “incident” did occur. All of this is happening as the 3rd year anniversary of the death of their son, Julian, approaches in November. As Mia relates the talented fan favorite actor’s heart is “broken”, because of it.
In her statement, Mia expressed: “I want the world to know the truth about what is happening with Kristoff, because currently there is inaccurate, and fabricated information being reported by certain online outlets. No parent should ever have to bury their child, and for those who do, it is a nightmare that haunts you forever. The death of our beloved son Julian, has taken a toll on both of us. He is an actor and while he may appear whole on the outside, his heart is broken. As a society we need to start taking mental health seriously and realize that no one is immune. Last week, an incident occurred, that pushed him to the breaking point, but was not accurately reported. I hope that at this moment we can all wrap our arms around Kristoff and help him in this time of need. Help him heal and move forward. This is not a ‘gossip’ story, or an interesting headline, this is a man trying to deal with a tragedy, that has torn apart his soul. Right now what he needs is your thoughts and prayers.”
Share your thoughts on Mia’s statement in the comment section below, as we keep Kristoff in our hearts, thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.
Dear God please help them. In my thoughts & prayers. Keep him in your love & heal his Heart. We are only human.
Let’s hope this gentleman and his family find peace and let us ,please, allow this to be a private matter for them.
Thought’s and prayers continue for you Kristoff…I know 2 people who have lost their children and I know it’s something a parent never get’s over…Again, hold on to GOD’s hand and know that GOD loves you and your family, friends and fans love you so much…Also know that your son in in HEAVEN and that he is doing fine and you will see him again one day…GOD BLESS you Kristoff and all the rest of your family…
I think she’s spot on. It doesn’t matter what Kristoff did or din’t do. What matters is that he’s hurting and needs positive, loving help. I can’t imagine the pain he must be experiencing since his son passed away.
He has given so much to the soap community over the years. It is only fitting that we support him and send our best wishes, thoughts and prayers toward him.
God bless you, Kristoff; you and your family.
No one can imagine, Rodd, unless one has gone through the unbearable pain. It lives within you….never out of one’s thoughts.
I know what Kristoff is going through. All I can say is to put one foot in front of the other and take comfort in the fact his son is in good hands.
I have my crying spells when that wistful feeling overtakes me, but, I do know my baby is with God’s little angels, playing happily…pain free.
Thinking of you, Kristoff. I know these are just words…..be strong!!
My prayers are with you and your family and Mr St John. I pray that the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will cover him and that the joy of the Lord will be a stress. It takes much strength. I embrace you as a woman for your coverage your strength and your compassion for the mental health issue that you are raising
Shame on these media vipers!! They don’t care who they hurt. Prayers for Kristoff and for you Mia. So sorry for your loss
So so sad. I don’t watch Yand R but my heart breaks for him and he will be in my prayers.
Take care of yourself Kristoff.
I too, lost my son. He was 25 years old. This was 19 years ago. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Your feelings of helplessness are real, BUT I can promise you that it will be different as time goes on. You are so loved by so many, with so many reasons to live. If you give up, too many others are going to say, “me too”. No one can tell you when your grief will become bearable, but I know that I try to live each day making my son proud of his mom. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
My thoughts and prayers are with kristoff at this difficult time. May God wrap his arms around him and ease his and your broken heart. I am sorry people can not report the correct news. That adds more stress to everyone involved. He is a wonderful actor but as a fan I knew in my heart he was suffering. All my love to you both.
As a viewer and fan of Y&R sinc 1984, Kristoff has been one of my favorites since he hit the canvas. With that being said, my heart goes out to him and his family during this difficult time. No parent should bury their child. I can’t even begin to imagine what thoughts must be going through his mind right. It’s disgusting what the tabloids will say to sell a paper. I am hoping Kristoff can find strength and healing through this most personal of times
My thoughts and prayers our with you Kristoff and family. My heart goes out to you and your family, I myself lost a son almost 12 years ago and im now raising his 3 children and have been for 12 years. The oain never goes away and seeking help is so important because it is beyond ourselves to deal with such a tradegy. May God be with you.
I am praying for you. I have watched Y and R for the entire time that it has been broadcasting so I can say that you are like a family member. My prayers go out to you because I have lost a child. It’s a pain like none other and it never goes away but it is one that you learn to cope with. My son’s birthday and the anniversary of his death are within 2 weeks of each other. His birth date is Oct. 27 and he passed on Nov.10. I pray that God heals you and fills the void. Only He can as our Creator. He is Who I cling to in my time of grief. He’s the One Who wired us so He is the Only One Who can repair and make us whole again. Lean on Him and you will be okay.
Hi
I lost a brother Charlie 9 year ago he was 52 . It was a shock to the family and across the Art community. I was very close and I still miss him. But I went the next week and bought a puppy for the family to help us get through this. I have been watching Y and R since 18 to talk to kids at school. Your a great actor and hope your back soon. Love seeing you with Lily. Take one day at a time. Be possitive. Takecare thoughts are with you.
Prayers for Kristoff and the whole St. John family!!
I hate that the media horns in on the privacy of actors and actresses only to get a story.I can’t imagine losing one of my children and i know the grief is unbearable.I do understand the hopelessness that he’s going through. I once was at a point in my life where I would beg God to kill me and get me out of my misery. But God had bigger plans for my life.God also has plans for Krisoff oh the testimony he will have for others going through what’s y’all are going through.I am praying God gives him peace and hope.Remember God will never leave you where you are.Just when you think you can’t take anymore is when God shows up.
Kristoff St John and his family are in my thoughts and prayers
My heart and prayers go out to the family. We know their son wants them to live life fully why don’t we allow them to grieve while they figure out how to move on. The world is praying and sending good thoughts to you.
Sooo sorry for your loss, Praying that the Lord God Almighty will give you all what you need to make it though these times. Take it one day at a time He has you in the palm of His hands. You are a Awesome man yes you are one day you will be able to help someone else.
Remember you are Loved.
Praying for you. Sending Hugs I don’t know what it’s like to lose a child but I have lost both my parents and it hurts everyday. Prayers for all.
I think that Mia said it all perfectly, and with so much poise and grace. My brother just lost his daughter 2 months ago in a car crash, and he, along with the rest of our family, is suffering unbearably. My heart goes out to Mia and Kristoff, and their loved ones. No parent should ever have to bury their child. It is something that
Never goes away. I pray for comfort and strength in hopes that it will become bearable in some way. We love you, Kristoff!
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family..losing a loved one is devastating in itself, but I cannot begin to comprehend the pain of losing a child..in any capacity…The GOD I serve is a “Mender of Broken Hearts”… Please let HIM heal yours…
I totally agree with Mia. My thoughts & prayers are with them both.
Praying for you and your x wife. You cant fo this without putting it in Gods hands. He will give you the strength.
There should be no stigma for those who suffer. Jesus sat with the afflicted, with those who were suffering. I hate how we demonize or friends and family members when they are challenged with issues of mental health.
I am so moved by the warm wishes expressed by others here. I feel great sadness for those who lost a child. In the sixth grade my best friend lost his sister unexpectedly. It was a pain that never really left. And the anniversaries were reminders just as much as birthdays and holidays. The entire family was devastated. I learned so much from them. I learned that love had other dimensions and loss could be endless
Sincere wishes for peace and healing to all.
I really hope Kristoff is doing better now. Hope he’s back and fully recovered.
Pray for healing and restoration for you all. God is in control.
I didn’t take it as a gossip piece n had heartfelt sympathy for his n moms loss n know first hand for 19yrs Angel Anniversaries SUCK n three years you’re so new to the raw pain of those days leading up to n EVERY day in between n I’m lifting you guys up in light to get through these days one day at a time…. N every grief path is different LOVE N HUGS
Prayers sent
Dearest Kristoff,
I remember watching you as a young child in “That’s My Mama” on TV and from your first Y&R appearance.

Lucas Adams and Tamara Braun Written Out of The Young and the Restless

It looks like the current run of Lucas Adams (Noah) and Tamara Braun (Sienna) on The Young and the Restless is coming to an end, after the Monday, August 3 edition of the CBS daytime drama revealed that Noah and Sienna are leaving Genoa City and heading back to Los Angeles.
In the storyline, Noah informed his mother, Sharon (Sharon Case) and half-sister Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that he and Sienna made the decision to move back to the West Coast to put distance between themselves and Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). Although Noah did not say it was a permanent move, he did assure his mom that once Matt is hopefully gone from Genoa City they could return.
However, as previewed already on the video teaser for this week’s episodes of Y&R (see below), it appears Noah left Genoa City’s The Shadow Room to be run by a returning Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). So with that, coupled with today’s episode, it would appear the move could wind up being more permanent.

COMINGS AND GOINGS
Adams made his Y&R debut on November 4, 2025 as the successor to Rory Gibson who last played Noah on-screen in April of 2023. Earlier in 2025, Gibson took over the role of Michael Corinthos on Genera Hospital replacing Chad Duell, who stepped away from the part after 15 years.
Braun who played Adam’s mother on Days of Our Lives when she was Ava Vitali and he was Tripp Dalton, first appeared on Y&R back on October 14, 2025, where we soon learned she had become Noah’s lover as the new character, Sienna Bacall. It should be noted, Adams was on contract with the number #1 soap, while Braun has been on recurring status.
With Josh Griffith now exited as head writer of The Young and the Restless, and the newly announced co-head writing team of Jamey Giddens and Dan O’Connor having taken his place and starting their new tenure this week, it will be interesting to see how the duo resets the show, and if a Noah and Sienna return is in the cards for the future or not.
So, what do you think about the seeming departures of Lucas Adams and Tamara Braun from The Young and the Restless? Weigh-in via the comment section. But first, check out our recent live chat with Tamara and Lucas on the Michael Fairman Channel.

Rosie O’Donnell Says She Will Return to ‘The View’ During its Season 30

Rosie O’Donnell revealed that she plans to head back to a seat at the table of ABC’s morning talk show The View.
The announcement came during Monday’s episode of The Tangle Podcast where she shared she will participate in “in whatever way they want” her or “just as a guest” for its upcoming 30th season.
The View’s season 30 will kick-off this fall in September. O’Donnell explained, “They’re bringing back all the hosts, I think. And, you know, I’m pretty proud of that show, what it’s become and how it really speaks to the people and to politics.”

ROSIE ON HER PREVIOUS GO-ROUNDS ON THE VIEW
As fans of The View know, O’Donnell famously had two different one-year stints on the talk show in 2007 and again in 2014- 2015. She often feuded with then co-host Elizabeth Hasselbeck.
However, during her discussion with host, Kyle Ridley on The Tangle Podcast, O’Donnell also noted she often had tense moments with longtime moderator and anchor, Whoopi Goldberg.
O’Donnell also expressed, “Many, many people got the short end of the stick there. It was, you know, it was a factory where people were being churned in and out and their tenuous security, nobody got to be calm. It also was a show at the time that was run by a man. A show created by a woman, for women, about women, and the man was deciding what we should talk about. And that didn’t sit right with me, you know.”
Back in 2023, Brooke Shields had asked Rosie on her podcast, Now What? with Brooke Shields, about how she felt on her two stints at The View and all the controversy that surrounded it. Rosie at that time, stated, “I know this, it’s not the best use of my talent to get in a show where I have to argue and defend basic principles of humanity and kindness. It was not something I’d ever do again.”
You can check out the clip with Rosie and Kyle Ridley discussing her return to The View in some form for its upcoming 30th season below.
Then weigh-in: Would you be excited to see Rosie, even for a one-day or a week guest stint on the upcoming celebratory season of The View, or not so much? Let us know via the comment section.
