Michelle Stafford Interview – General Hospital – 41st Annual Daytime Emmy Red Carpet

General Hospital’s Michelle Stafford (Nina) chatted with Michael Fairman on the red carpet at the 41st Annual Daytime Emmys! Michelle discussed the recent cliffhanger Friday shocker where the GH audience realizes that Nina is not what she seems, and how she loves GH’s head writer Ron Carlivati’s way of telling story. In addition, Michelle says she is so excited about her new complex new role, and is enjoying working with Michael Easton (Silas), and soon the opportunity to work with Donna Mills as her on-screen mother!

I get it-I honestly do-you’re not going to waste a talent such as Stafford’s sitting in a wheelchair…BUT, as a viewer who is wheelchairbound, I find disability to be a tired plot point. All soaps have done it, so I’m not mad at the gang at GH for doing it, but I’ve never heard a satisfactory answer as to WHY it’s done. As for Michelle/Nina, I am SO in for this ride-it’s not even funny…

Loved the interview. Michelle Stafford appears to really relish playing the role of Nina. For those who think she’s dull as Nina, I think there is alot more to come! Love GH!

Great interview! I adore Nina and The Staff is really having fun in her new role. Now the show just needs to get a better leading man.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Zeke to Jordan on His Arrival Back in Port Charles: “This Place Is Looking Better By The Minute”

As many had predicted, it turned out that Portia’s (Brook Kerr) brother, Zeke (Gavin Houston) did pick-up and promptly hit the sheets with Curtis’ (Donnell Turner) ex-wife, PCPD commissioner, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper). It all happened on Tuesday’s episode of General Hospital.

Jordan, who was already reeling and trying to get over Curtis, after he went back to Portia, is having a drink at the Metro Court pool. She meets a handsome man at the bar.  The guy happens to be Zeke.  That’s ‘Zeke’ as in Portia’s brother, who is back in town.

Zeke introduces himself to Jordan. At first, she is a bit dismissive. However, she quickly realizes her mood is her own doing when she admits to kissing her ex, who then went back to his wife.

As she looks at Zeke, Jordan says she is not wasting another minute on her former flame and offers to buy Zeke a drink.  When Jordan asks where he’s from, Zeke shares that he’s new to Port Charles, and adds, “The place is starting to look better by the minute.”

What followed … and quickly … was Zeke and Jordan heading to his hotel room for a night of steamy passion.  We also see that Jordan took off her ring when a pool boy found it when he cleaned up the bar.

So, what do you think will be the fallout when Jordan learns Zeke is Portia’s brother? Are you all-in for a Jordan/Zeke romance? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.

Kate Mansi On Contract at General Hospital

Former Days of our Lives Daytime Emmy-winning actress, Kate Mansi (ex-Abigail), now General Hospital’s new Kristina Corinthos-Davis, is apparently on contract with the series.

Recently, General Hospital viewers who catch the closing credits of the episodes noticed that Mansi’s name is listed with the other contract players from the long-running ABC soap opera; currently celebrating its 60th year on the air.

Mansi, who replaced another Daytime Emmy-winner, Lexi Ainsworth, made her debut on the ABC soap opera back on May 24th. It is believed that a major storyline is on its way for the character of Kristina, which will have her more prominent in story in the months to come.

Ainsworth had previously played the role of Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Alexis'(Nancy Lee Grahn) daughter from 2009 through to her last appearance on the April 27th episode of this year.

Soap Opera Digest chatted with Mansi for their upcoming issue where she addressed replacing Ainsworth: “There will be glimmers of things that are similar and things that are really different. I appreciate the support of my fans and also Lexi’s. Something I learned as I grew up is that things aren’t always black and white, and two things can be true at the same time, so fans can love Lexi and love me, or fans can love me and love Marci (Miller), or they can love Ashley Benson (Mansi’s predecessor as Abigail) and me. There’s nowhere that’s truer than in the soap/daytime world because one doesn’t necessarily negate the other.”

Now the question becomes, just what is in store for nuKristina? Is it being part of the Molly/TJ baby drama? New romance ahead? Trouble in the building of her new LGBTQ center which leads her into danger, yet again? (Think ‘Dawn of  Day’ cult).

Stay tuned and let us know what you hope is Kristina’s new story via the comment section below.

General Hospital’s Haley Pullos Sued By Driver Over DUI Car Crash

More bad news for General Hospital’s Haley Pullos (Molly). The driver, in the car crash reportedly caused by Pullos, is suing the actress.

According to TMZ,  the man, who’s name is Courtney Wilder, is suing Haley for plowing into his car last month while driving under the influence of alcohol and marijuana.

In his lawsuit, Wilder says the car he was driving behind barely swerved to avoid Haley’s car as she drove the wrong way on a freeway offramp. However, he claims he didn’t have time to react when he saw headlights coming his way and crashed head-on into Pullos. Wilder says he was taken to a hospital and was in critical condition.

The collision happened back on April 29th when Pullos was driving on a freeway in Pasadena and then swerved into oncoming traffic, before hitting another vehicle, which the police reported was going roughly 60 mph.

The court documents filed by Wilder claims Haley should have stopped driving when she got into a hit-and-run earlier in the night and and that she should have never been behind a wheel while being under the influence.  He goes on to say, the crash has resulted in serious and lasting injuries to his body and his car being totaled, and that he is going after Pullos for the damages.

Three weeks ago, reports surfaced that Pullos entered the Malibu Detox and Residential Treatment Center.
