The hottie factor just went up a notch in Genoa City with the casting news today that The Young and the Restless has added Miles Gaston Villanueva as its latest cast member.

Villanueva is set to play the all-new role of Luca Santori described as “Strong-willed, confident and charismatic.”  Miles will appear beginning on the September 16th episode of the CBS Daytime drama, according to Soap Opera Digest.

If you think Miles looks familiar, you are right!  He already appeared on Y&R in the short term role of Father Eric, who assisted Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Paul (Doug Davidson) for the search of their child.

The actor also appeared on Days of our Lives in the role of Russ back in 2014, and has been seen on Melissa & Joey, Chasing Life, NCIS and Bones to name a few.

So could Luca be a relative of Marissa’s (Sofia Pernas) or Marco’s (Peter Bergman)?  Why do you think Luca comes to Genoa City? Who could he be paired romantically with? Share your theories in the comment section below!

He’s good–wish him all the best. But we have not seen Jill in months and we only saw Collin for a hot minute last week.
If they could provide work for the veterans while introducing new characters to the canvas that would be fine.
But lately soaps such as Y&R and GH cannot seem to strike a balance between new characters and established characters and yes, it can be done

Regarding Jill, actress Jess Walton is no longer listed in the credits at the end of the show. Haven’t seen her name listed in months. I’m wondering if she has left the show for good or not!

Jess isn’t on contract, she is recurring, which means her name will only appear in the credits on the week her character is actually on screen. Since they haven’t used her in a long time her name hasn’t been there– but far as I know she is still with the show.

Not long ago Daniel Goddard posted a picture of himself and Jess and said something like she was back to work.

No offense to him, but just what GC needs, another newcomer!

Now that right there is a reason to watch again ! Wow hello Sir!

Oh wow, he is a hot man. I hope he can act.

I believe Luca will come between Kyle & Summer!

Oh heck no please NO MORE SUMMER!!!

We can only hope that Summer is whisked far, far away.

I have to admit I missed today’s episode because I was so angry that yesterday they pointed a finger at Mark Harding. He is such a great actor and if he’s a dirty cop (which their trying to prove) then he’ll be off the show. There has been so many complaints about other actors on Y & R but we seem to lose the good ones all the time. Marisa makes me ill and Noah was so good with Courtney. I hoping Summer goes up to the cabin and get killed by fake Jack and Mark Harding kills fake Jack. Then he can stay on and start over.

I see him being related to Marisa. She needs others family members or people she has had a past to role into GC if she is not related to anyone such as Victor. I believe that could be a possibility.

Ugh! Marisa does NOT need any family. She needs to take her little lying butt and exit Genoa City pronto.

Let’s get back to the Abbotts, Newmans, Baldwin/Fishers, Winters and be done with all these “newbies.”

What’s with that name??? Horrible!! Haha. Emma, now this guy?? Let’s focus on the cast at hand, please.

Ok, I will try this again. No offense to the actor, but do we need another newcomer in GC?

Lets hope he has a better fate than that Chavez character and his sister that were on like for a New York minute, a couple years back— definitely need a Latino presence in GC–I don’t mind newbies if they can act and if they are given a story that is anchor to a vet.

What a waste with Chavez! Ignacio Serricchio was not only eye candy, but he could ACT too. He had chemistry with Abby (Emme Rylan) and potential for being a solid member of the PCPD, but of course, they had to ruin it!

Now they are doing the same with Harding. What a waste!

O I totally agree about Harding– such a waste– and it didn’t have to happen. They made the mystery of who killed those two young people so easy that most of us had it figured out months ago, so in order to “give it a surprise twist” they threw poor Harding under the bus. Now we know what is coming– Dylan will become a police officer and because of his service in the army, he will be lead detective in no time flat and work side by side with daddy Paul.

I agree. Leave Mark Harding alone. We love him and the way he gets along with Kevin is fantastic. Have him kill fake Jack & Summer end of story.

I think he’ll be linked up with Chelsea

Either useless Abby or Summer.

Forgive me if I am wrong as it has been quite a while since I have been out of school, but what is with all the Italian sounding character names (I have Italian heritage by the way)?

“Marco” is supposed to be a Peruvian drug lord, no? Then the names “Annicelli” and “Santori” appear to be more in line with someone from Argentina, not Peru. Even the first name “Marisa” seems more Italian (like Marisa Tomei).

I love Joe,and I pray they give him a love interest,I enjoy Marisa, and Noah together, Would love Austin return in a new roll,he is a good actor, and would love too see Carmine, return,Stop picking on Summer, she and Kyle, are great together.

He played Father Martin, not Father Eric (perhaps you’re thinking of Eric on DOOL, who was a priest for awhile?). He first aired 9/18/13.

Lucas Adams and Tamara Braun Written Out of The Young and the Restless

Published

It looks like the current run of Lucas Adams (Noah) and Tamara Braun (Sienna) on The Young and the Restless is coming to an end, after the Monday, August 3 edition of the CBS daytime drama revealed that Noah and Sienna are leaving Genoa City and heading back to Los Angeles.

In the storyline, Noah informed his mother, Sharon (Sharon Case) and half-sister Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that he and Sienna made the decision to move back to the West Coast to put distance between themselves and Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). Although Noah did not say it was a permanent move, he did assure his mom that once Matt is hopefully gone from Genoa City they could return.

However, as previewed already on the video teaser for this week’s episodes of Y&R (see below), it appears Noah left Genoa City’s The Shadow Room to be run by a returning Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). So with that, coupled with today’s episode, it would appear the move could wind up being more permanent.

COMINGS AND GOINGS

Adams made his Y&R debut on November 4, 2025 as the successor to Rory Gibson who last played Noah on-screen in April of 2023. Earlier in 2025, Gibson took over the role of Michael Corinthos on Genera Hospital replacing Chad Duell, who stepped away from the part after 15 years.

Braun who played Adam’s mother on Days of Our Lives when she was Ava Vitali and he was Tripp Dalton, first appeared on Y&R back on October 14, 2025, where we soon learned she had become Noah’s lover as the new character, Sienna Bacall.  It should be noted, Adams was on contract with the number #1 soap, while Braun has been on recurring status.

With Josh Griffith now exited as head writer of The Young and the Restless, and the newly announced co-head writing team of Jamey Giddens and Dan O’Connor having taken his place and starting their new tenure this week, it will be interesting to see how the duo resets the show, and if a Noah and Sienna return is in the cards for the future or not.

So, what do you think about the seeming departures of Lucas Adams and Tamara Braun from The Young and the Restless? Weigh-in via the comment section. But first, check out our recent live chat with Tamara and Lucas on the Michael Fairman Channel.

Rosie O’Donnell Says She Will Return to ‘The View’ During its Season 30

Rosie O'Donnell

Rosie O’Donnell revealed that she plans to head back to a seat at the table of ABC’s morning talk show The View.

The announcement came during Monday’s episode of The Tangle Podcast where she shared she will participate in “in whatever way they want” her or “just as a guest” for its upcoming 30th season.

The View’s season 30 will kick-off this fall in September. O’Donnell explained, “They’re bringing back all the hosts, I think. And, you know, I’m pretty proud of that show, what it’s become and how it really speaks to the people and to politics.”

ROSIE ON HER PREVIOUS GO-ROUNDS ON THE VIEW

As fans of The View know, O’Donnell famously had two different one-year stints on the talk show in 2007 and again in 2014- 2015. She often feuded with then co-host Elizabeth Hasselbeck.

However, during her discussion with host, Kyle Ridley on The Tangle Podcast, O’Donnell also noted she often had tense moments with longtime moderator and anchor, Whoopi Goldberg.

O’Donnell also expressed, “Many, many people got the short end of the stick there. It was, you know, it was a factory where people were being churned in and out and their tenuous security, nobody got to be calm. It also was a show at the time that was run by a man. A show created by a woman, for women, about women, and the man was deciding what we should talk about. And that didn’t sit right with me, you know.”

Back in 2023, Brooke Shields had asked Rosie on her podcast, Now What? with Brooke Shields, about how she felt on her two stints at The View and all the controversy that surrounded it. Rosie at that time, stated, “I know this, it’s not the best use of my talent to get in a show where I have to argue and defend basic principles of humanity and kindness. It was not something I’d ever do again.”

You can check out the clip with Rosie and Kyle Ridley discussing her return to The View in some form for its upcoming 30th season below.

Then weigh-in: Would you be excited to see Rosie, even for a one-day or a week guest stint on the upcoming celebratory season of The View, or not so much? Let us know via the comment section.
