MORE ON: Matt Walton on his way to Llanview in new role!

SOAPnet.com has just offered up information on the role of Elijah, played by the incoming Matt Walton to One Life to Live!  Here is an excerpt: “August is going to be a hot, sticky mess in Llanview — and we’re not talking humidity, folks. What we ARE talking is our best legalese, because Tea Delgado will meet her match in the form of Elijah Clarke, a gentleman lawyer who has Tea’s number in more ways than one. Not only will he be going up against Tea in the courtroom for what will surely be a rancorous cage match to end all cage matches, but Elijah also has something more threatening up his sleeve … the key to Tea’s big secret!””

mattWalton.jpgWe reported earlier this week that We Love Soaps, Roger Newcomb broke the news that One Life to Live has brought on a new character named “Elijah”, in the form of actor, Matt Walton!  In fact, in an audition script that had been circulating, the ABC soap was looking for a lawyer named, “Elijah Kent”.  In this item, Newcomb reveals that Walton has already filmed a scene with Robert S. Woods (Bo).  Walton may be familiar to audiences from his roles on Rescue Me, and Law & Order: SVU. He briefly appeared on daytime on both “AMC”,  “GL”, and “OLTL”, previously.

In the SOAPnet.com piece, it seems Todd is responsible for hiring this attorney, but of course! Stay tuned.

Kim Delaney on All My Children Primetime Reboot: “All They Have To Do Is Ask, and I’m There”

While Kim Delaney is currently appearing on General Hospital in the role of Jackie Templeton, and she just appeared in her new Lifetime movie, The Long Island Serial Killer: A Mother’s Hunt of Justice, the actress revealed she would be up for appearing in the upcoming primetime revival in development of All My Children.

Delaney became soap-famous in the role of AMC’s Jenny Gardner from 1981-1984 before she was killed-off the show in the now iconic jet ski explosion.

Now even though Jenny died, Kim would be up for figuring out how the character could be resurrected or how she could take part in the primetime reboot of the ABC soap opera called, Pine Valley.

In an interview with Soaps.com, Kim shared on being part of the reboot: “All they have to do is ask, and I’m there.  Sure, Jenny died, but someone asked me the other day if we ever saw her body. So maybe she’s out there, somewhere… ”

Former All My Children stars and real-life duo, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are executive producers of Pine Valley along with Andrew Stearn.
