Next On Y&R: EP & Head Writer Chuck Pratt Jr. Previews Sharon/Sage Baby Drama: "They Are Two Trains On The Same Track, Heading Right For Each Other!"

Courtesy/CBS
Next week on The Young and the Restless, Soap Opera Digest is reporting (in their latest issues on newstands now) that Sharon (Sharon Case) and Sage (Kelly Sullivan) will actually team up to get to the bottom of what happened at Fairview the night that “Sully” was born.
After Sharon reveals to Sage she has been having nightmares about giving birth to “Sully”, Sage admits she has been having doubts as well, and that sets the stage for the two women to work together to start to investigate what actually happened when Sharon was “pregnant” and had her son.
As viewers know, the late Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) took Sage’s son with Nick (although Adam is the bio-dad), baby Christian, and made it appear as if Sharon gave birth to the boy! Thus leaving Sage destroyed and the rest of the Newman family at the “death” of her son.

Y&R executive producer and head writer, Chuck Pratt Jr. told SOD on this upcoming moment in the Sharon and Sage baby drama: “They are two trains on the same track, heading for each other! And like a passing train, we, the viewers, won’t be able to turn away!”
So, what do you think will happen when Sharon and Sage try to piece together the events that led up to Sharon having “Sully” in her arms? Will they work for the common good even if it means heartbreak for one of the women?
Are you looking forward to seeing how this all plays out? Share your theories and thoughts in the comment section below!
Sharon was very nice to Sage by letting her be in Scully’s life so Sage will do the same for Sharon and Dylan letting them be is Scully’s life..
It will be quid pro quo .. one big happy family ..
I don’t think the writers will let the twp women find out who the baby belongs to until he is much older. The writers are good at leaving story lines open and not complete. Giving Sage and Nick their baby back would be to easy.
According to the spoilers, Sharon is going to find out that the baby does not share her DNA. I think the baby will get sick and require medical attention. If the baby is Adam’s, the baby may have an eye problem like Connor. I am not sure what direction this storyline is headed. I did hear that Kelly Sullivan was thinking of leaving the show.
I like Kelly/Sage, so I hope she does not leave.
I too was hoping they’d wait until Sully was older (a la Lily) for the reveal.
Looking forward to agony for so many people involved is not exactly a very appealing prospect.
It was a very sadistic storyline from its senseless inception.
You are SO right.
Cee Cee IS totally right indeed, Mark. I just want it to be over and that is what I am looking forward to.
And a big fly in the ointment of a satisfactory resolution is that the writers decided that Adam should be the biological father. I do think that aforementioned caveat was a rewrite and used as a plot device so Victor would be armed with information which he used to blackmail Adam.
PS. And come someone tell me WHY they thought it was a good idea to inject more emotional pain into Sage’s soul by having an adoption which did not go through.
Cee Cee is spot on right when she says this storyline is sadistic.
can, not come–damn it. And I left my question mark at home.
No rhyme or reason, it seems, Harry.
I do have a theory, for what it’s worth. Shawn was used as a pawn to get to Nurse ‘Rapacious’.
I do not think Shawn changed her mind about keeping baby David. Why go through all the hoopla?
The devil-nurse is in the business of buying and selling babies. She either paid Shawn for the baby or just absconded with him and did away with Shawn.
This story isn’t over, one way or another.
Dr. Anderson paid the nurse to do the dirty work with Sully.
Oh, Harry. Alicia Coppola bugs you. I love her to pieces. So glad she is back to daytime!!!! I do not see her as you do. Difference of opinion….more power to us, ehh?
And, the only hookers I know are the ones in movies and TV. The doctor does not look or dress as one. A short skirt does not a hooker make. Harry, Harry, Harry……
I truly find nothing about this show interesting right now other than the Victor related drama. Last week was a boring repetitive mess every single day and really exposed just how weak the other storylines are across the board. Everyone is being written out of character and all of the stories are beyond predictable with no suspense in the least. I will keep watching for the next chapter in Victor’s prison arc but that is the only thing working right now on Y&R.
True, Jay. Plus, we have seen Victor in jail……similar circumstances before. What is the purpose of the jail scenes? Braeden is acting his best, as usual; but, now it has become perfunctory. Victor is just too old to be put in these sooo-juvenile scenarios. C’mon, really?!?!
Speaking of charecters being ‘out’ of character? Chelsea is suddenly this sanctimonious little Priss Miss who has never been a guttersnipe…oh, no!!!! She dictates every moral code in the book. She smells of purity and integrity a mile away…Right!!
Then, there’s Jack and Phyllis….but I won’t go there for the umpteenth time. LOL.
Speaking of Victor and creepy female doctors, what’s up with that pesky prison doctor who is always hovering around Victor?
She looks to be in her fifties and is, well, how should I say it? She is average looking (not there is anything wrong with that). I mean, she’s perfectly fine looking but doesn’t look like a sex pot. However, she wears a micro mini skirt, five inch heels and a blouse with a plunging neckline. There seems to be an incongruity between who she appears to be and her choice of attire. Moreover, her hooker like attire is not professional and certainly not a wise choice for a doctor who is supposed to be treating men who have been incarcerated for a long period of time.
In any case, and to put it simply, she really bugs me.
I think they hit the nail on the head, comparing this to trains because like a train wreck (which is what this is) you cannot turn away. It is terrible that they cannot think of an original story, but oh well … here we go again. I will try and pretend like I haven’t seen this before. Ha!
ONLY IF PRATT GIVES SHARON STRENGTH TO DEAL WITH THIS.
Poor Sharon is going to have a breakdown again. Who will come running ? Nick or Adam
I feel for both Sharon and Sage. Who’s going to be there for Dylan. He thinks Sully is his.
I agree Meg, how about Sharon Case coming out a strong women and not needing Nick and going bonkers AGAIN!
Sage needs her baby back! Sharon and Dylan will just have to deal with it.
I feel bad for both Sharon and Sage, but also feel really bad for Dylan, it’s going to break his heart to find out another child is not his.
give Sage back her baby its been long enough enough is enough any woman would know if she had a baby and Sharon knew she lost her baby before she went into Fairview
No I am not looking forward to having this play out but once the truth comes out I don’t think Dylan and Sharon have a case for custody– so after watching all the heart wrenching scenes of them giving Sully back to his rightful parents, old Shawn will show up again saying she really can’t raise David after all, and Sharon and Dylan will adopt him.
You’re probably right, Mary although I really would not want to see Shawn back. She was a drag.
Agree with you, there, Harry. The girl had no charisma whatsoever. I could not warm up to her. Unlike Natalie, who is characterized a a little deceitful witch, but is endearing, nonetheless. Well, at least, for me.
Love Natalie, and of course she is a sleeper in the beauty department. I just wish they could find a better romantic partner for her than Kevin! What a waste.
That would be to easy.
It will be heart wrenching for most parties involved …when the “WHOLE”
truth surfaces.
We still don’t REALLY know if Sully/Christian was Adam’s. Seems that Victor came up with that scenario and Adam just went along with it. I still have my doubts about it. Chuck Pratt needs to add a new writer, preferably one with a memory for the characters’ histories. A writer with a real imagination (look no further than Downton Abbey, which, by the way should be also labeled here as RIP, since it’s over and done with). A writer that doesn’t use the same old scenarios over and over and over again. Wash. Rinse. Repeat. We’re sick of wife sharing. We’re sick of each family member having slept with or been married to each other. We’re sick of storylines from a year ago that are being used, almost word for word, on other characters now. CHUCK PRATT: You have NO imagination!!!!!!!!!!! I could tell you 100 things wrong with your Sharon/Sage story. You don’t answer dangling truths. You move on to the next huge stupid, vapid storyline. There’s not usually closure or answers. It’s one huge vague mess! What a shame since it used to be a wonderful, campy, fun, interesting show to watch. Try to make it better, like “Dynasty” was. Try that. Try anything! Just try!!!!!!!!!!
Lets be fair Downtown Abby was like what eight or nine episodes a season for six years, that is like a couple of months worth of episodes for a soap. It is a pet peeve of mine whenever posters want daytime to be more like prime time, they are two separate genres and comparing them is silly. However I do agree daytime writers do need to be more creative in how they tell a story, there should less pandering to ratings and more focus on a show’s history and attention to who the characters really are instead of each new writer changing them for their own purposes. Plus it might help if networks actually gave daytime a decent budget to afford the quality a Downtown Abby or Dynasty had–
Fair enough. Then, let this soap be what it was in the beginning—a great soap with wonderful writing, clear characters with their own history (that was never changed or messed up), campy, dramatic, sad, and real. What we have now is a disgrace to the show, to the characters, to the characters’ histories, to the actors on it now and especially to the audience. To use and reuse storylines is a DISGRACE. They used to be innovative and captivating. Now they are downright disgraceful. And, I have absolutely no doubt that Downton Abbey could have produced a superb 36 min daily show without flaws. This show that we’re left with is a shadow of what it once was, and it truly is a disgrace to the writers, actors, genre and audience. THAT is real.
Also, think back to Primetime soaps like Dallas, Dynasty, Knot’s Landing… Although they were only on weekly and they had much more to work with, they were very much like our soaps. That’s exactly what we need. We DON’T need these new writers and producers who don’t even know anything about the characters’ histories and they don’t even care. They just throw out the same formula and hope they’ll get viewers. Heck, I even read an article about the Bells living in Europe, not even caring about their own shows, as long as they got the ratings. Even if they got people talking because the show got desperately bad, it equals ratings. They lost their way–everyone related to this show (and B&B) did, and that’s why so many actors exited. It’s a shame!
I agree 100% with donewithbravo’s comments.
The writing has been a complete mess on these shows for a decade. I’ve thought the same exact thing when watching Downtown Abbey —- why can’t Y&R have an interesting plot like this???
The writing simply is not there anymore. And it is NOT limited to this current group of alleged writers. We have seen a parade of writers churn garbage at us for years.
I’ve watched Y&R since the first year and vividly remember how great it was. It is beyond sad when the LAST plot that interested me is TEN YEARS OLD —- The fallout between Jack and Gloria following the death of John Abbott. (Ironically, this was a character driven plot, not the type of “Towering Inferno” nonsense or the recyled “Sharon and a Baby Switch” plot that we’ve already seen before.
Thank you, Barbara. That’s just about when I was last interested in the plotlines on Y&R too. From then on it didn’t make much sense, no one seemed to care or voice their opinion (or question things), and they’d hop onto the next story plot. Recycling garbage and now firing people left and right, but hiring some new people only to drop their storylines too. It’s nuts and I wish someone could dive in there and make sense of it because enough of us out here care!
I cant waut for Sage to get baby Christian Back!!!
Yes, although I hated this story line from the get go, I am looking forward to its resolution. What I love about the resolution is that Sharon is not the bad person here, and I also love that she and Sage are bonded in some kind of sisterhood. I don’t find women battling it out over men and over babies to be appealing and entertaining so I do appreciate how Sharon and Sage seem to be supportive of each other. I find that to be so much more entertaining than women having a good ole fashioned cat fight. Maybe I am just growing up but I have a hunch that my younger counterparts feel the same way.
This is going to be heart breaking but it’s going to provide Steve Burton with an opportunity to show how gut wrenching he can be while demonstrating the aforementioned heartbreak. Burton is an underrated actor and I know I am going to hear collective howls of protest at what I am about to say, but I think he is ten times the actor Billy Miller is. No one can show angst the way Burton can.
Well Sharon isn’t totally off the hook, she didn’t tell Dylan the truth that she had a miscarriage and went into hiding in Fairview to buy some time to think of what to do. If she had just been honest with him from the get go, none of this would have happened, so unfortunately Sharon will catch some flack for this one too. And I agree about SB– the show has given him too many chances lately to have him shine as an actor but when they did in the past, I found his performances up there with the best of them.
Hi, Mary,
I may not remember this correctly; but, when Sharon was ready to tell Dylan about the miscarriage, at Mariah’s insistence, I think Dr. Anderson(?) told her she was pregnant.
Remember she had been trying to ‘mightily’ conceive again? Sharon was taking her temp during ovulation and doing everything necessary for her body to be ready…..
She didn’t want to hurt Dylan….so she tried her hardest to conceive. When the doctor told her she was, Sharon assumed her hard work had paid off.
The more idiotic assumption, since this was not Sharon’s ‘first’ baby, was that there was no afterbirth bleeding; no breast milk. She should have questioned these things. Her body would have given her signs. Any woman who has given birth knows this, but, we are constantly supposed to accept these unrealistic ‘facts’ of life…pardon the pun.
Then again, she was sedated more often than not, soooo. Later, Mary.
@Cee Cee– true Dr. Anderson lied to Sharon and pump her with drugs to convince her she was pregnant when she wasn’t–that wasn’t Sharon’s fault and like you said, she was trying to conceive again that she was just happy to believe her plan worked–she didn’t question any of it, but Sharon will still get flack for not confessing the miscarriage right away, if she had none of this would have happened to her, as they say the road to hell is paved with good intentions–so wanting to protect Dylan from another loss, will be her down fall again
I agree Harry, I think Sharon and Sage will bond and be the best co-mothers and Steve will get to show why he was signed to be on the #1 soap!
I agree, Harry, that SB hasn’t had enough strong scenes to shine in. When he does, he always delivers, sometimes far beyond expectations. I don’t agree with the Billy Miller comparison. I think they’re both gifted, charismatic actors with very different styles. And I’d put their talents up against, not only prime time actors, but a lot of movie actors as well. Soap actors rock!
Did anyone else notice in today’s show (Tues, April 19th) that Paul referred to Dylan as “Steve” to Pattycakes??? I paused it, played it again and again and realized that it was a HUGE error. How didn’t anyone pick up on that?? They let it go thru editing that way??? The Patty character is one of my favorites on the show. She seems far too good to be on tv!
Please don’t kill off those characters
We all know patty wms know the truth
But when the truth prevails emotions causes accidents given the your writers think
No longer care, story took way too long!
It’s all a matter of taste. I think it’s coming to a head too soon!
Sage needs to get her baby back asap! I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that Victor had a hand in the whole thing. Probably brought Dr. Anderson to town just like he did Patty
I hope it works out for everyone. The baby’s name I think is Sully not Scully. Maybe they’ll both be pregnant and end up happily ever after.
This show is getting worse by the day… My 6 year old grandchild can write a better story line. Fire your writers before you have no more fans left.
Sadly, you’re right, Karen. Literally NOTHING happened last week except I got a few glimpses of my eternal crush, Kevin. Can your grandchild start right away?
Didn’t Adam say that he changed the report that he was the father of Sage’s baby for Nick and Sage…They seemed so happy he said
Ugh.
Why does every show have to rush through story? Baby switches play out best when they simmer on the back burner for a few years because the emotional turmoil for the parents and the child is upped. This should’ve all come to light on lil Sully’s fourth or fifth birthday with Sage bursting into the child’s party wanting to claim her son with everyone gathered for the drama. Then the show could play out Sully’s confusion, Sage’s desperation to bond with her son, Sharon’s loss, Faith’s confusion that her little brother is still her little brother but not the little brother she thought he was, Dylan’s realization that once again he isn’t a father (and should leave town forever), Nikki balancing her happiness for one son and sorrow for the other, Paul’s grief over losing his grandson, Ashley reaching out to Sharon because she went through the same thing when she thought Faith was her child, Adam’s realization that he has another son, Chelsea’s jealousy of the time Adam is spending with his new son, Connor acting out over Adam spending time with his new brother, Adam getting a taste of what it’s like be the victim of a baby switch instead of the perpetrator, and Nick being hit with the double whammy that his son is alive but is actually his nephew.
I expect better from the show that gave us one of the two greatest soap opera baby switch stories of all time — Sheila stealing Lauren’s son Scotty.
Just had to reply. My head is spinning, but it was fun reading. Heck, you could be correct!
Let’s not forget the part Adam will have to play in all this since the baby is really his and Sage’s. Fists will fly between him and Nick among other complications that will follow when this all comes out. Looks like some messy times are coming which means great soap opera!!!
I agree, James. Though they should really direct their anger toward the Paternity Lab with the revolving door, open to anyone day or night. Bribes welcome! They must have the most lax software on the planet….anyone can access it, no training or passwords needed.
I have to wonder if this lab is the same one that Delia’s mom Chloe used to steal Billy’s vile of sperm when she left town and had another daughter?
I am so bored by baby storylines! Lets have an abortion storyline!
i hope when the dust settles and sage gets sully back and its revealed that adam is the father….. dylan comforts chelsea and it leaves nick and sharon back in eachothers arms where they belong… shick forever!!
I hope this will be solved during May sweeps. Sharon will be crushed. Nick will be there. Sage will bond with Adam. Chelsea, get the F out of town! Oh, and PLEASE bring back Avery for Dylan! End of story.
Like some others, I find recent congeniality in the program to be a relief .
I can’t imagine that Sharon won’t get sick again, that Dylan won’t be happy realizing that Adam is the father of both children believed to be his, and I don’t look forward to those scenarios.
Dylan has always been a weak link for me. It was ludicrous how he became a detective; then this is a Soap. However, he has grown into the position particularly because he is doing what Paul should have been doing for all of these many, many years.
This new Adam doesn’t present as a bad guy. The new Billy does versus the last Billy that offered hope that some maturing had taken place.
This can’t be all hope and happiness, but the negativity and dark presentation of the last year is getting awfully stale. A little peace, please!
Get it over with already it has gone on long enough
Valerie…HELL YEAH it has gone on long enough!!!!! Us soap viewers have suffered enough!!!!! Just saying……….
I agree. Just want the s/l over. Been horrible from the start.
I find it do interesting that so many men watch the show and comment.
The identity of Sully needs to be known soon, or the boy will be in college!!!! Stupid writers! This should never have happened, it has gone on too long!
I honestly think that when Adam changed to paternity test that Victor wen and changed them back unaware that Adam had already changed them. It isn’t Adam’s son.
Not it isn’t clear, nor are a lot of other things. Too much of anything isn’t always the best solution.
Adam being the father was a rewrite. Originally Adam told Sage, Nick and even Chelsea that he could be the possible father. Nick and Adam argued and Nick told Adam to get his own paternity test. Chelsea came into the room wondering what they were arguing about and Adam told her about his ONS with Sage because he was miserable thinking he had lost her. She was downstairs supposedly marrying Billy. At the same time Nick had broken things off with Sage until Noah made him realize how much he loved her. We all know what Billy did at their so called wedding and eventually Sage and Nick and Chelsea and Adam got back together. Why would Adam change the test to Nick and then go around telling all three of them he was the possible father? Later when Adam was on trial all at once Victor said he knew Adam had the test changed to Nick and all at once he was blackmailing Adam to get him to do what he wanted. It was an obvious rewrite because imo the writers decided more mileage could come from Victor being able to blackmail Adam. Much later when Chelsea kept after Adam saying she knew Victor was holding something over his head he supposedly comes clean and tells her that he had changed the test to Nick, but Christian was really his. When Adam told Chelsea it was like she had never heard of that possibility before even though it did happen months before. I’m sure the writers hoped fans would forget what originally happened before, but if anyone doubts what I am saying just look up the transcript for July 27, 2015. In fact when Adam originally said he could be the possible father he was still Gabe as far as Nick knew. Sage of course knew he was Adam because she was the one behind him becoming Gabe and Chelsea had just found out about 2 weeks prior that his real identity was Adam and not Gabe.
This storyline has been going on waaaay to long and it’s time for Sage to get her baby back. Enough drama. The child will be walking before Sage get him back the way things are going. Now would be a good time. Sharon has plenty of children. Sage on the other hand has ‘lost’ what she thought was hers and now needs to reclaim her son. The Sooner the better.
I’m looking forward to Nikki moving in with Sharon and Dylan. That should be interesting!
Poor Dylan!
Baby story lines are wearisome. So tired of the switches and confusions. For what? A child that in three months will be 8 years old and in a year 21?!?! That they involved characters beyond ages of knowing better bothers me, as the fact it is another go-around in similar situations for a couple of these characters. I like Sharon but she has bee put upon to an extent I cannot care what happens to her. She has no backbone about anything. Give the girl some moxie! Y&R lacks a warmth that was hallmark of series like ATWT and AW despite their sometimes crazy story lines. Y&R once had it but now everyone seems dark, out for something, cruel.
Do we even know for a fact that “Christian/Sully” is the actual baby replaced by the evil nurse for Dr. Anderson? Would be a cheap way out of all the trauma for Sage and Adam. The evil nurse outsmarts Anderson. Christian really did die.
I can’t believe I’m even writing this stuff tonight. I said it months ago, I hate hate hate hate this storyline.
What’s next for a pregnant woman on this show? Getting knocked down a flight of stairs by whacko kid Max? You bet, poor Abby.
They are trying to recreate history. We no longer have Katherine and Jill fighting so why not put Nikki with Sharon. I am a longtime fan of this show but no longer have respect for it. I hardly watch any more because I work. Whatever happened to creating a story line that mimics real life. Remember Ashley’s breast cancer, the Aids story as well as Katherine being homeless. The writers won’t even make Kevin gay. I don’t like Jason Thompson as Billy. Billy Milller is the one and only Billy and JFP made a big mistake letting him go.
Cathy I so agree with you. This is not the soap it once was and I find it sad that the soap that was always number one for me and something I couldn’t wait to see has turned out to be something I now find boring. It’s the same thing over and over with no regard to history of not only the soap, but they have changed the characters from who they used to be. I agree with you about Jason Thompson and I love Billy Miller. I watch him on GH. Yet, I wonder since I find the writing lacking for all of the characters if even Billy Miller would shine as he once did with the way the writing has become? I don’t even recognize this Billy and there are other characters that I find I don’t recognize any longer. jmo
Would love to see Shemar Moore come back as Malcom. I doubt it since Kristoff St John is out for awhile.
Days Of Our Lives
‘Brilliant Minds’ Officially Canceled After 2 Seasons at NBC; DAYS Alum Al Calderon, OLTL Alum Teddy Sears and Zachary Quinto Among the Cast
After languishing on the bubble for months, on Friday, NBC handed down the decision and canceled the medical drama Brilliant Minds after two seasons.
Brilliant Minds stars Zachary Quinto as neurology physician Oliver Wolf, who’s character and the series is inspired by the life and books of neurologist. Oliver Sacks. The series focuses on the medical mysteries of the mind, as Wolf a larger-than-life neurologist and his team of interns explore the last great frontier, the human mind, while grappling with their own relationships and mental health.
The final six episodes of what will now be the end of its second and final season were already set to air beginning on May 27, after being pulled off the network schedule in February as viewership saw a steep decline. Brilliant Minds second season became the lowest-rated drama on linear TV viewing, which didn’t bode well fo a network renewal, although it had its hard core fan base.

There are some exceptional notables in the cast along with the talented Quinto that includes Days of Our Lives alum, Al Calderon (ex-Javi Hernandez) who joined the series in its second season as Nurse Nico Silva, and One Life to Live alum, Teddy Sears (ex-Chad Bennett) who plays Wolf’s love interest and fellow physician, Dr. Josh Nichols.
The rest of the talented cast includes: Tamberla Perry, Ashleigh LaThrop, Alex MacNicoll, Aury Krebs, Spence Moore II, Donna Murphy, John Clarence Stewart, and Brian Altemus.
In an ironic twist of fate on Thursday, April 30, Days of Our Lives finally revealed the actor who was Al Calderon’s successor in the role of Javi, when they announced that actor Jacob Martinez had now stepped into the role. Since DAYS tapes ten months ahead of streaming new episode, Calderon left in the spring of 2025, but will be seen in the part for the final part this month, and then on June 20, Martinez debuts as Salem’s new Javi.
Taking to his Instagram with a sorrowful and heartfelt post on the Brilliant Minds cancellation was Teddy Sears who wrote, “Thank you, Brilliant Minds. I got the call today and I didn’t want to hear, but I knew that it would come, You have to be a particular vintage to quote Don Henley from memory, but that’s the line that came to mind earlier today after I got off the phone with our inimitable showrunner Michael Grassi who delivered the news that NBC has cancelled the series”.

Photo: NBC
Sears continued, “To say that I feel sad to be moving on from these stories, this character, and this cast and crew just doesn’t paint the entire picture. I’m sad, sure. But I’m also deeply grateful that I got hired to play this part, so proud of the stories we told, and the other actors I got to play alongside. I’m excited to see what comes next, what adventures await, and terrified to be without a professional home. A quick and heartfelt thank you to everyone, all over the globe, who found us and found themselves in us, in our characters and in our stories. We wouldn’t have been able to tell them without you. And we still have 6 fresh episodes yet to air, and I do hope you tune in enjoy the remainder of the series. They’re the best we’ve done.”
As he wrapped up his sentiments, Sears signed off with, “The more I know, the less I understand. All the things I figured out I have to learn again. I’ve been trying to get down to the heart of the matter. But everything changes…Thank you, Brilliant Minds.”
The medical drama was created and executive produced by Michael Grassi alongside Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman, Lee Toland Krieger, DeMane Davis, Jasmine Russ, Henrik Bastin, Jonathan Cavendish, Andy Serkis and Shefali Malhoutra.

Congrats to Hallmark Channel and to our nominated cast and nominated show and everyone who made this magical show possible. This is crazy! This gives FMC 6 Critics Choice nominations in 2 years. Not bad for a little show on Hallmark Channel. What are your thoughts on our show?” Jumping first into the comment thread was one of his new GH co-stars, Dominic Zamprogna (Dante) who expressed, “Yeah buddy!!!🔥🔥”
In the series, Bennett, the host and co-creator spends eight weeks guiding 10 aspiring actors through a series of “festive face-offs” and acting challenges alongside actors like soap opera notables, Hunter King (ex-Summer, Y&R) and Alison Sweeney (Sami, DAYS). ‘General Hospital’s’ Kelly Thiebaud on Britt and Cassius Sibling Drama, But Who Will Ultimately Blow His Cover?
On the April 30 episode of General Hospital, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) had some choice words and warning for her brother Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) who has been masquerading as his twin, the very dead, Nathan West.
As the story has unfolded, viewers learned that Britt knew all along that when “Nathan” showed up in Port Charles seemingly resurrected with a missing 7 years of his life unexplained, that Cassius was taking his place.
Now in developments on today’s GH, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is figuring out that this guy pretending to be Nathan is someone else, and Cassius learns from Britt, that Joss is not just a ditzy sorority girl as he claimed, but a WSB agent! The moment stuns Cassius. Are the walls about to close in on him and his charade?

Daytime Emmy winner, Kelly Thiebaud spoke to Soap Opera Digest, about the story point and getting the opportunity this time back at GH to work with Ryan Paevey, when she hadn’t had the chance to before.
BROTHERLY LOVE?
Thiebaud expressed on sharing scenes with Ryan Paevey, “It’s just been so wonderful to have him back and to actually work with him! When he first came onto the show (as Nathan at the end of 2013) I was kind of heading out — it was right towards the end of my contract, so we didn’t actually work together a ton. It’s been really refreshing and so much fun to really spend time together and get to know each other and work together. I think we have really great on-camera chemistry and banter with each other. I really enjoy working with him.”
With the stakes at an all-time, Thiebaud explained how she views her on-screen alter-ego’s involvement with her more hot-to-temper sibling and why Britt revealed the truth about Josslyn to him. “People finding out about Cassius would expose what she’s involved in and what she agreed to do,” explains Kelly “And now Josslyn is digging around, and she’s connected to Carly (Laura Wright) to Jason (Steve Burton) and that whole dynamic! It’s messy!”
BRITT’S MURKY FUTURE
Britt has currently also reached her breaking point with Jason being carted away by the WSB, Rocco (Finn Carr), the child she gave birth to, shooting Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) to protect her and Jason, Marco (Adrian Anchondo) being killed after trying to help her, and Cullum holding over her head getting her Huntington’s disease medication to control her symptoms, while blackmailing her into finishing the research on her father, Cesar Faison’s, final project. Thiebaud summed it up best for Britt right now, sharing, “It’s been a really tough time for her.”
So, who do you think will be the person to blow Cassius’ cover? Will it be Britt herself? Josslyn? Liesl? Brennan? Nina? Lulu? Rocco, Maxie, Cullum or someone else? Let us know your pick in the comment section.
