OLTL Alum Forbes March Arrested and Charged with Grand Larceny
In a bizarre police report and incident, from the Ulster Police Department in upstate New York, One Life to Live favorite, Forbes March (ex-Nash Brennan) was arrested along with another man, back on March 2nd.
March and Oscar Guardado were charged in Hudson County, New York with grand larceny for the alleged theft of used cooking oil from a diner.
According to the Ulster PD, the said cooking oil has an estimated value of over $1,000, and it was allegedly siphoned by March and Guardado from a storage container owned by the company, Buffalo Biodiesel. The tank was located behind Michael’s Diner.
Both March and Guardado were released after their arrests. and now need to appear in court to address their charges of grand larceny in the fourth degree at a date to be determined.
Daytime fans know that Forbes is best-known for his role on One Life to Live. He appeared on the ABC soap from 2005 to 2008, but he also appeared in All My Children as Scott Chandler from 1998-2000. Later in his soap career, he turned up in Oakdale and As the World Turns in the role of Mason Jarvis in 2009.
March retired from acting after 2010, and went into business as the New York Firewood Company, which turns out to be a wood supplier for restaurants and private residences. The company is based out of March’s small farm which is in the Catskill Mountains.
According to research – used cooking oil can be used to manufacture biofuels, and theft has been on the rise throughout the Northeast region in recent years as fuel prices increase.
Buffalo Biodiesel just so happens to collect used cooking grease from thousands of restaurants across 12 states for processing into biofuels.
What do you think about the arrest of Forbes March and the charges of grand larceny in the fourth degree? Comment below.
Used cooking oil? My grandmother could have made him a millionaire! She never knew what to do with all that old Cristo.
Insanity plea
Forbes has wessonality!
LOL!!!!!!!
Grand larceny! Wow. Nice going.
This guy must be friends with Stephen “Coltin Scott” Martines (a.k.a. Nikolas 2.0 from GH)
I never would but if I was going to steal it would be diamonds and furs not cooking oil! Duh
This was absolutely so bizzare; that anyone would do that. But then the story continued and said it’s growing more common. Who knew? Sad, really.
He’s just as greasy as his character Mason Jarvis.

As previously reported, kicking off today, is a two-part Beyond the Gates, when The Duprees gather to celebrate Banneker University’s homecoming weekend.
The producers and writers are taking an opportunity to spotlight the rich traditions of the long-held tradition of attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) through its fictional university.

BANNEKER REFLECTS THE IMPORTANCE OF HBCUS
Sheila Duckworth, (executive producer, Beyond the Gates) spoke to Soaps.com to give some insight on the decision for the series to illustrate the ties that bind with HBCUs.
“It was important that we have this school as almost a character on our canvas, right from the beginning. Beyond even education, HBCUs have been pivotal when it comes to everything from economic progression and fostering a sense of community to the development of leadership skills,” explained Ducksworth. “From the beginning, we wanted to illustrate that what the Duprees are able to do in the world was a direct reflection of the impact HBCU’s have in real life.”
EVERYTHING HAS ITS PURPOSE
The EP talked about how purposeful the elements that integrate Banneker into the overall story of Beyond the Gates are including: the Dupree family door knocker that is a lion, the mascot for the fictional university, plus, the upcoming fight song that the cast will sing together on the Monday, October 5 episode, and the painting the hangs at Fairmont Crest.
That portrait of Vernon Dupree’s (Clifton Davis) father, George Cheeks Dupree, that hangs prominently at the country club, was named after CBS executive George Cheeks (now Chairman of TV and Media, Paramount), and as Ducksworth says of the legacy of Vernon’s father, “He was the architect of Fairmont Crest.”
So, are you looking forward to these episodes honoring HBCU traditions with the Dupree and the Richardson clans? What surprises do you think might be in store come next week? Let us know via the comment section below.
