Brody and Nate pull Eddie off Ford ending their fight. Langston is very worried about Ford, who’s injured and she takes him to the hospital. Rex finds Nora in the motel room Eddie was keeping her hostage in and unties her. They try to call Bo who doesn’t answer, because he’s passed out at Inez’s apartment. Matt sees a drugged Bo with Inez. Upset, Matthew drives off and swerves, forcing Nora and Rex off the road. James points his gun at Eddie. Dani and Nate puzzle over a weird call from Matthew, but Nate is focused on getting rid of Eddie.  Eddie is killed. Natalie is about to tell John the truth about her baby when he proposes and she says yes. Eddie is murdered and Brody is the first cop on the scene. The suspects are James, Nate, Ford and Inez. Rex is injured from the car crash when Brody and Gigi find him. Nora is nowhere to be found.  Inez lies to Bo when she tells him they had sex. While Joey tells Jessica about his fiancée, Blair and Dorian convince Kelly to tell Joey that she’s still in love with him.

John and Natalie begin an investigation into Eddie’s murder. Bo is informed of Eddie’s murder and gets word from Gigi about Rex’s accident. Bo tells James and Starr that Eddie was murdered. Viki confronts Echo about kissing Charlie. Echo and Charlie share a close moment as they await word on Rex. Aubrey is grateful to Viki for accepting her engagement to Joey. Kelly verges on telling Joey about her feelings for him when she has a food mishap. Blair tries to pawn off Eli’s box on Téa. Natalie finds evidence that a woman with red hair was in Eddie’s room. Rex tells Bo that Nora was in the car with him when he crashed. Starr asks James if he killed Eddie. Aubrey asks Joey if she has reason to be jealous of him and Kelly. Viki asks Kelly if she still has feelings for Joey. John tells Blair, Téa and Todd that Eddie is dead.  John shows them what he found in Eddie’s room: A cufflink monogrammed with the initials “TM.”

John confronts Todd about his cufflink found where Eddie was murdered.  Todd claims innocence. After learning from Rex that Nora was in the car with him, Bo goes to the crash site to look for her. Finding only her wedding ring, Bo worries and bemoans the fact that he betrayed her with Inez. Since Clint supposedly didn’t get rid of Eddie, Inez admits she didn’t live up to her end of the bargain, either, and she intends to tell Bo they didn’t really sleep together. Clint warns her not to, or he’ll be forced to tell the authorities he saw her son at the scene of the crime. James tells Starr what happened when he went to Eddie’s motel room and they prepare to tell John everything. Matthew tells Destiny he caught his dad with Inez. Viki agrees to let Dorian help her get Echo out of her home and her life. Echo gets even closer to Charlie when she asks him to help her with her drinking problem.

Blair and Tea grill Todd about whether he could have killed Eddie. Starr gets Tea to represent James, who tells John he went to Eddie prepared to shoot him but decided against it.  Bo is thrilled to find Nora who can’t remember what happened to her after Rex crashed the car. Clint suggests to Inez that more than one of her sons could have been at the scene of the crime. Nate is cagey with Dani about why he wasn’t surprised that his father was dead. Matt tells Nate that their parents slept together and Nate confronts Inez. Rex tells Natalie about how Eddie kidnapped Nora to cause trouble between her and Bo. Natalie shares her concerns about marrying John and potentially provoking Marty. Darren wonders how Destiny can have so much sympathy for Nate. Destiny and Matt console each other over their respective parental problems.

THE BACHELORETTE: Katie Tells The Men To Get Out If They Are There for the Wrong Reasons

So, let’s be real here.  Do you seriously think all of the men vying for Katie’s heart on this season’s The Bachelorette, or going onto a dating-reality show, are all just looking for love without realizing the fame, attention and instagram followers that will accrue due to their appearance on the long-running competition series? With that said, some men profess they are on the show searching for love, while others are on the show are there for “the wrong reasons” – i.e. searching for fame.

Katie Thurston had her fill of the “wrong reasons’ on Monday night’s episode of the series, after contestants Aaron and Cody went at it in a mud-wrestling match that turned dirtier than just rolling around in the muck.  Later, Katie pulls Aaron aside where he he reveals that he knows Cody from San Diego, and know he has a questionable character, especially from his social media postings.  Aaron believes Cody just came on to the show to become famous. When Katie then confronts Cody about this, he is pretty unfazed and matter-of-fact and emotionless.  Next up, she boots Cody from the show.

After Katie hits an emotional bottom, she gathers herself together for the evening’s cocktail chats and smooches, and as she is feeling good again, Karl decides to confuse her and tells her that their may be other men in the house who are there for the “wrong reasons”. That prompts Katie to have her episode ‘drop the mic’ moment where she tells the guys that ,”if they are not here for the right reasons to get the ‘f***” out!”  The men are pissed at Karl for stirring things up with nothing to back up his accusations with and Katie is left (as we fade to black) in a puddle of tears.

BUT, before that there were some other watershed moments within the episode. During her one-on-one ‘wilderness date’ with Greg, Katie opened up to him about the death of her father.  Later, when they sat down for their evening date, Greg revealed his father died, and then it was his turn to be overcome, revealing how difficult it was to leave his mom, who was still grieving to come be a part of The Bachelorette season, and to vie for Katie’s heart. But these two clearly have a very strong connection leading people to wonder if Greg will get the final rose.

Earlier, during the awkward – “prove to Katie how sexy you are in bed, or how you will take care of her in bed” – or something like that, Mike the virgin cried during his testimonials as to how he would get up in front of her and the other men with his presentation when he is a virgin.  Mike decided to go with the honest approach and wrote a poem for Katie about how he would love her while basically admitting he was a virgin, as she sat on the bed on the stage with him. He won the award in the sex competition.  OK? OK!

So, who do you think is the frontrunner for Katie’s heart? Is anyone on this show there to truly fall-in-love and get engaged??? Comment below.

General Hospital’s Kirsten Storms Delivers ‘The Power Performance of the Week’

Leave it to a beloved MVP of General Hospital, Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones), to pull out all the stops in the culmination of Maxie’s storyline with Peter August (Wes Ramsey), and that’s what viewers witnessed this week on the ABC daytime drama series.

Maxie manipulated the manipulator during a stunning sequence of events.  In story, while recovering at General Hospital after giving birth in the woods, Maxie lays it on thick to ensure that Peter never gets near their baby Louise – who is actually being passed off as “Bailey”, the baby of Valentin and Brook Lynn – not kidnapped by the naughty nurse, Chloe (Kimberly J. Brown).  But in Maxie’s chain of events to Peter, she tears into him and tells him that Chloe kidnapped her, drugged her to induce labor, and took off with Louise.  Peter is stunned.  Maxie goes on to explain that Chloe said she was working for him and that Peter planned to take her and the baby out of the country,

At that point, Maxie plays on Peter’s psyche, telling him she wishes the dark side of him would return to get the nurse for what she did.  It is then she gets Peter right where she wants him when he admits that Chloe isn’t the nurse’s real name.   Maxie then turns up the heat on Peter and reveals that Chloe must have been fed information on her from Peter! And that the only explanation is that Peter is horrible person.

Then, Maxie tells Peter their baby is gone, it’s all his fault, and he hopes he is terrified, and that she is repulsed by him, especially every time he touched her.  She then confronts him about killing Drew Cain, Franco Baldwin and anyone else who got in his way.   He says it’s not too late for them, and that he did it all for her and Louise.

Boom! Maxie has got Peter’s confession taped on a file on her phone which she immediately sends to Mac.  That sends Peter running and well, we know, or we think we know where that led, to Peter’s fall down the stairs thanks to Finn (Michael Easton).

Later when Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) arrives at GH with baby Louise, she sits outside Maxie’s room as emotional Maxie sees her daughter in the arms of another mother, and is heartbroken that she can’t be with the little girl she just gave birth to.

Over the last three episodes. Kirsten Storms has reminded us all of why she has the innate ability and combination to play strong, determined, vulnerable, loveable and devastated with such ease.  Storms gave us a bravura performance to remember, slicing Peter’s charade in half, playing beats of Maxie’s fictionalized account, with Maxie’s real account of life with Henrik Faison aka Peter.   For all of this and more, Michael Fairman TV names Kirsten Storms work, The Power Performance of the Week.

What did you think of Kirsten in the pivotal scenes with Maxie and Peter, and the emotional fallout that followed? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.  But first, check out some moments from Maxie giving Peter a piece of her mind!

Roger Howarth Returns to General Hospital and Debuts His New Character

Thursday was a special day for longtime fans of General Hospital and those of fan favorite Roger Howarth.  Today, Howarth returned in his new role on the ABC daytime drama series, who’s name is “Austin” and that viewers learn is a doctor, and that is all we know thus far.

General Hospital and Howarth previously noted that even though he was killed-off a few months ago as Franco Baldwin after he was shot in a struggle with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) that he would make his re-emergence on the canvas sometime in May.

Now with summer right around, Howarth is back.  When we first see his new soap incarnation of “Austin”, he comes to the rescue of Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), who has gone into labor and found her way into the woods to escape the clutches of evil Nurse Chloe (Kimberly J. Brown) and Peter’s machinations.

And … as she just so happens to need a doctor, lo and behold there is Austin in the woods from what appears to be a hike, who ultimately helps deliver Maxie’s baby girl.  Trouble is, at the end of the episode, it appears that baby Louise might not be breathing.

In a summer preview for GH, in the brand new issue of Soap Opera Digest on newsstands this weekend, GH head writers, Chris Van Etten and Dan O’Connor teased, “Roger’s new character has an interest in a prominent Port Charles family.  He’ll shake up the canvas in surprising ways as summer unfolds.”

So, were you happy to see Roger back on GH today? Do you like that he is seemingly playing a doctor? Share your theories on his new character”Austin” via the comment section. But first check out, Howarth’s debut as Austin in the clips below.
