Just as Shane Morasco’s bullying storyline picks up steam and reaches the tipping point on One Life to Live, actor Austin Williams (see on left with Andrew Trischitta) will be honored for his portrayal in the emotional storyline, which highlights the harsh, negative realities of bullying, at the 7th Annual Prestige Awards.

According to Soap Opera Digest, “The awards salute individuals in the arts and entertainment who are making a difference in society or giving back to communities. The awards will take place in Poughkeepsie, NY, on April 3, 2011.”

Congratulations to Austin on a job well done…and yet to come!

I’m troubled with this storyline. I can remember when I was in high school, and I know how Shane feels. I was also bullied, but not near as bad as Shane is being. There were times I felt like killing myself, but I did not go through with it. I think though that this is an interesting storyline, and I do like Andrew Trischitta as Jack. He even has a mean voice, because it is deep. I hope that Shane does not kill himself, and Jack will get what is coming to him. Maybe being shipped off to military school would straighten Jack out, if Blair can not knock some sense into her son. Jack has what is coming to him, and I hope that he learns his lesson. Good job Austin and Andrew though, you both are doing a good job playing Shane and Jack.

Boy this storyline is interesting. The sad thing is that it does happen. Jack needs to be shipped off to military school, or maybe Juvinile Hall would be a good place for him. Jack needs to be put into his place, and I know that he will pay for his cruel actions. The storyline is about to get interesting, and I hope that Rex and Gigi can stop Shane from killing himself. Shane will need help us well, but he will get it from his parents, and there is a lot of people who care for him. I can not wait to see what happens to Jack, and he will be in a lot of trouble. I think that Andrew does a good job playing Jack, and his voice sounds mean because it is deep. Good luck to Shane, and Andrew keep on doing a good job playing Jack, but I hope that Jack straightens out. He needs to be put into his place.

‘Grand Hotel’s’ Lincoln Younes Cast As Lead In CW’s Reboot Pilot of ‘The Lost Boys’

In intriguing casting news, Australian-born actor, Lincoln Younes (Ex-Home and Away and most recently ABC’s Grand Hotel, where he played Danny) has landed one of the leading roles in CW’s reboot and upcoming pilot of The Lost Boys based on the 1987 movie.

Joining Younes in the other lead roles in the pilot will be Braeden Cook (Industry) and Ruby Cruz (Castle Rock).

According to Deadline the series is said to be about the following: “When a mother and her Gen Z sons, one played by Cook, move to the seaside town where she grew up, they discover there’s a sinister reason the local cool kids sleep all day, party all night, never grow up and never get old. Family bonds are tested as the brothers find themselves on opposite sides of a mythological struggle. Based on the 1987 cult classic that revolutionized how we think about vampires.”

In The Lost Boys reboot, Younes plays Benjamin, the charismatic leader of the gang of vampires in the town. It is a version of the David character played in the movie by Kiefer Sutherland.

The pilot is written by Heather Mitchell and Rob Thomas and will be directed by Marcos Siega.
