He will tell on good old Kristen. He will turn out to be good in the end. Deep down all he wants is Family.

Paul Telfer has created a great rootable, meathead villian — his portrayal projects far beyond the script. DOOL needs to develop Xander as a lead character.

I’m so glad that people are getting in on

^^^ “… his portrayal projects far beyond the script”

THIS is his 4th or 5th time “around” he’s always counted … he’s an animal “lose” right now

oh yeah, salivate !

there’s a “magnate” BIG ON

Paul Tolfer has always held on

He’s existed for a reason !!! I like him

S E X is celebrated WITH

let loose! somenew

YOU have a FUN’ny post @denise. YET essence should play out

he projects yield to temptations naked PLUS

character anew !

Per @Emily ^^^ post

Xander was originally brought on as the “troubled” nephew of Victor brother that did not get along. Xander appeal lie in wanting to be a part of the kiriakis Empire AND ‘belonging’

scripts changed

yet his presentation never wavered AND he’s continually numbered in.

I want to see his scenes w/Maggie.. the “non-judgmental” ep

I want to see his likeness be with Kristen even tango

I am still bowled over that he’s with Sarah

I want to see his family take

there are underlying currents going on big time … you never get this @

I do not like Lani anyway. Eli could do so much better than this insipid woman. Iam surprised they haven’t had her kidnap a newborn by now. I hope Rafe tells her what to do, when she jumps his bones. How pathetic they have made this character.

I saw something surprising on today’s show with Zander. I always hated him, but Paul Telfer showed us a different side of this man. Someone that has real feelings, and with some love and understanding, he could become a good man. I wish TPTB would consider this possibility, but every show needs a villain, and I guess Paul is it.

DAYS OF OUR LIVES: Wally Kurth & Chandler Massey Deliver Poignant Scenes As Justin Tells Will ‘Don’t Give Up On Life’

If you caught Thursday’s episode of Days of our Lives, the scenes capturing the minds of DAYS viewers featured touching work from Wally Kurth (Justin) and Chandler Massey (Will).

In it, after seeing Ben (Rob Scott Wilson) in prison, Justin comes upon Will, the man responsible for his beloved wife, Adrienne’s death (although the circumstances of just how Will was responsible have yet to come to light within the time jump).

Justin informs Will he is taking over Ben’s case, and Will thinks that with Justin on his side, Ben will have a better chance of getting out of the slammer.  Then, a guilt-ridden Will tells Justin that he thinks about Adrienne every single day and he will never stop hating and loathing on himself for being responsible for taking the love of Justin’s life away from him, and for what it has done to Will’s husband, Sonny, who has lost his mother in the process, and caused a huge rift in their marriage.

As things get more emotional between the two men, Will tells Justin that in his heart Adrienne was like a mom to him. Then, an emotional Justin tells Will he knows he did not mean to harm Adrienne.  Will thanks Justin, but thinks Justin hates him.  It is then that Justin reveals he could never hate Will.

Justin admits he hates what Will did, but let’s him know in no uncertain terms that he thinks of Will as a son, and will not and can’t stop loving him.  As Justin begins to tear up, he becomes emotionally overwhelmed by the sadness of the entire situation, and tells Will, “You’re a part of our family for better or worse.”

Next, Justin reminds Will that no matter what happens life goes on.   He himself is a perfect example as he has fallen in love with Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and is happy for the first time in many months.  Then in the punctuation point of the scene, Justin tells Will to never give up on life and the two embrace.

Did Wally Kurth just lock up an Emmy nomination with this scene that aired on Thursday’s episode of Days of our Lives? Did you reach for the hankies?  Share your thoughts on the heart-tugging scenes via the comment section below.  But first watch some key moments from it.

Stephen Nichols On His DAYS Return As Stefano: “I Knew I Didn’t Want To Be A Cheap Imitation.”

By now, Days of our Lives fans have witnessed that the heralded return of longtime favorite, Stephen Nichols came with a twist.  When Nichols re-emerged on the canvas, he was now playing Stefano DiMera, but in the face and body of what seems to be Steve “Patch” Johnson.

Nichols, who along with Mary Beth Evans, have been known as enduring supercouple Patch and Kayla, and now they find themselves in the Salem time jump in a different set of circumstances,  First of all, Kayla is romantically involved with Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth), and Nichols returned as Stefano and is in ca-hoots with Princess Gina (Kristian Alfonso).

In an interview in the current issue of Soap Opera Digest on newsstands now, Stephen opens up about taking on the classic soap villain role made famous by the late, great Joe Mascolo.

Nichols admitted there was some trepidation taking on and in approaching how to portray the role: “It was daunting and a major challenge to take on. I knew I didn’t want to be a cheap imitation. I wanted to get Stefano’s essence.”

In preparing for his new journey on DAYS, Nichols noted: “I watched the master, Joe Mascolo.  I got lots of videos of Stefano. Stefano in every mode: Manipulating, laughing, Stefano with the ladies, with his children, and, of course, Stefano raging.”
