I put little stock in awards shows anymore but kudos to PEOPLE’S CHOICE for including LAW AND ORDER: SVU in their categories. This consistently excellent show and its stars are criminally ignored by the Emmys in lieu of more “edgy” programming. BTW, “edgy” in this case means perverse, demonic, violent, mysoginistic, evil, mean-spirited, and usually can’t even decide what the ending should be, if any. There’s a lot to be said for good, old-fashioned storytelling.

ICAM if you hadn’t said it, I would have. SVU, Mariska and Ice-T are winners for me.

The least important, non consequential “awards” show out there. Do they still let the winners know ahead of time?

That Chrishelle is something else, isn’t she? You could’ve never told me that when she was playing Jordan she would end up to be a superstar.

I enjoyed People’s Choice, for just that reason. I was so happy at Mariska Gargitay’s award, she was cleary surprised. Too bad her speech was ruined with the show going on in back of her as the self entitled Kathy Hilton put on her little display of digging in her purse, removing and putting on lip gloss or whatever it was. She’s since apologized but God, doesn’t the woman have any brains or manners?
