So, what did you think of the ratings for The Golden Bachelor Wedding and General Hospital: 60 Years of Stars and Storytelling? Weigh-in below.
What a hoot to see the iconic wedding dresses worn again by Felicia and Lucy. Missed Lucy’s hat – but still amazing. Supposedly, wardrobe couldn’t locate Anna’s purple dress from wedding #2 to Robert.
Definitely one of the best moments of the special.
I don’t watch The Bachelor but I was disaapointed in the GH special. The hight point for me was Burton’s return. Genie should have been on longer.
If someone wants to make one of the most important days of their lives into a spectacle and probably very profitable, than that’s what Theresa and Gerry did. I also wonder how much the big mouth Cathy was paid off to let her back on the show?
Yes, the music was too loud and you couldn’t hear the actors speak. Yes, there were actors I would have liked to see more actors involved. But the show was paced very smartly for having less than 60 full minutes to celebrate 60 years of wonderful stories and wonderful acting, writing, sets, etc. It just proves what a wonderful job every department at GH does! I could easily have watched another hours’ worth. I really liked that the actors all seemed to be playful and to be enjoying themselves, too. Great Job to everyone involved in bringing this to life!!
I thought the same. It was very well done, despite the music being too loud for the actors voices at times.
I watched it again this evening.
It’s all for the ratings and their 15 minutes.of fame, im sick of seeing their posts.
He is dishonest and she’s a fool.
I especially liked the Golden Bachelor Wedding. It was an event we had not seen before. There is hope for love for all ages out there.Of course the General Hospital Special which followed after was also one of my favorites. I got to see alot of my favorites actors and past soap memories followed .

Vincent Pastore of ‘Sopranos’ Fame and ‘General Hospital’s’ Maximus Giambetti Dies at 80

Vincent Pastore, best known for his memorable role as Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s The Sopranos has passed away.
The veteran actor was found dead on August 1st in his home in the Bronx, New York. Pastore was 80-years-old. The cause of death is yet to be determined.
As well as his role on The Sopranos, many soap fans will recall he played multiple smaller roles on the beloved One Life to Live from 1995 and 2004. However, in 2008, he landed the short-term role as Maximus Giambetti on General Hospital.

PASTORE WANTED TO BE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL
Maximus was the mobster father of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bodyguards: Max (Derk Cheetwood) and Milo (Drew Cheetwood)
According to Soap Opera Digest, Pastore told Soaps In Depth back in 2009, after appearing in a SOAPnet promotional campaign as a celebrity fan of General Hospital: “‘I’d love to be on the show. So they called up GH’s casting director (Mark Teschner) and Bobby (Robert Guza Jr. ex-head writer, GH) and they wrote me in!”
Pastore was a huge General Hospital fan from way back, who at one point told producers that he would watch the ABC soap opera while working in bars and nightclubs in the 70s and 80s.
Throughout his decades long career, Pastore appeared in films including: Goodfellas, Carlito’s Way and Men of Respect, The Jerky Boys: The Movie and the 1996 HBO TV movie Gotti.
In TV, besides The Sopranos, Pastore’s credits included: Law & Order, The Practice, Son of the Beach, Queens Supreme, Hawaii Five-0, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, plus the miniseries The Last Don II. Most recently, Vincent was a series regular on Gravesend and guest starred on Yellowjackets.
Pastore is survived by his daughter, Renee, son-in-law and granddaughter.
