If you miss Jack Porter and Nolan Ross from the Hamptons and the now defunct series Revenge, they are on the move ! Actors Nick Wechsler (Ex-Jack) and Gabriel Mann (Ex-Nolan) have landed their next primetime gigs!

First, Nick Wechsler has been added to the cast of NBC’s new drama thriller, The Player! The series which takes place in Las Vegas co-stars Wesley Snipes as a pit boss and Charity Wakefield as the dealer for a high-stakes game where an organization of wealthy individuals gamble on the ability of former military operative-turned-security expert (Philip Winchester) to stop some of the biggest crimes imaginable from playing out.

According to Deadline, “Wechsler will play Nick, the boyfriend of Cassandra (Wakefield), a good guy with morals caught in the web of century-old conspiracy.”

Meanwhile, Gabriel Mann will guest-star in the second season of the NBC comedy series The Mysteries of Laura starring Debra Messing! According to TV Line:  Mann will play Shane Parker, a “charismatic entrepreneur who co-founded a billion dollar nano-tech company.”

On the surface, it looks like Nick and Gabriel are playing very close to the same part they played on Revenge!  But the good news is that fans of the canceled primetime soap will get to see these gents back in action again.

Will you be checking out Nick and Gabriel in their new primetime roles? Let us know in the comment section below.

Vinessa Antoine’s ‘Diggstown’ Acquired by Fox in the U.S.

Great news for fans of former GH star Vinessa Antoine (Ex-Jordan).  The Canadian legal drama, Diggstown, in which she stars has found an American broadcasting home via news today that Fox has acquired the series.

Fox has picked up twelve episodes for seasons one and two of the drama.

In Diggstown, Antoine stars as Marcie Diggs, a star corporate lawyer who reconsiders her priorities and moves to work in a legal-aid office after her beloved aunt takes her own life following the pressures of a malicious prosecution.

The series explores issues of social injustice among other topical matters and universal themes. The team of lawyers that Marcie works with are a curious band of do-gooders, cynics, and scrappers – messy souls struggling to keep personal disappointment and demons out of their practice. They work directly in the community to find justice for their varied clients. Marcie is driven by one thing – to never again allow innocent lives to be destroyed by the justice system.

Deadline broke the news of the acquisition, which will help the network during the Covid-19 pandemic and production shutdowns, to have programming ready to go while other shows continue to get up and running.

No word yet on when Fox might air Diggstown in its primetime line-up.

So, excited to see Vinessa in the legal drama when the show airs on Fox? Comment below.

In the real life story, the remains of the women were uncovered accidentally as police searched for Shannan, who went missing after visiting a client, whom she met on Craigslist, in the gated community of Oak Beach on Long Island, and then fleeing the man’s home.   However, police believe that Mari’s unwavering fight to find her daughter which led to finding the other women is not how Shannan ultimately disappeared.

While the case has yet to be solved the film shares, “Though the search for the serial killer is still ongoing, Mari’s passionate dedication to giving her daughter and other forgotten women a voice, and the attention they deserve, has kept the case alive with hopes of a breakthrough soon.”
