Daytime fans first saw Robert back in 1987 when he was cast as Sam Fowler on Another World. He played the role for three year suntil 1990. Two years later, he took over the role of Bo Brady on Days of our Lives replacing Peter Reckell, who at that time decided to leave the show.
As Bo, Kelker-Kelly was major in story playing opposite the likes of: Crystal Chappell as Dr. Carly Manning, Kristian Alfonso as Hope Williams and Lisa Rinna as Billie Reed. When Peter Reckell returned to his signature role in 1995, Kelker-Kelly left the show.
Next, Robert returned to his original stomping grounds at Another World but this time as race car driver, Bobby Reno who was actually Dr. Shane Roberts. His second AW stint lasted from 1996-1998.

Eventually, the actor would begin his run as the evil Stavros Cassadine on General Hospital in 2001, then make returns in 2002 and 2003. In 2013, he briefly returned as Stavros as part of the show’s 50th anniversary celebration, and made one last appearance in 2014.
Robert has also became a professional pilot full from 2003 to 2015 and had been married to former Days of our Lives star, Miriam Parrish (ex-Jamie Caldwell) from 1997-2011, but the couple divorced in 2011. Since that time, he has not remarried.

Recently, Robert was back in the news when Lisa Rinna talked about her time working with her former Days of our Lives co-star in her recently released memoir, You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It.
Rinna shared on her then on-screen love interest, “Behind the scenes, we hated each other. Remember when Kathy Hilton said I was the biggest bully in Hollywood? Not true. Not even close! I have legit stories about the real bullies in this town. Robert Kelker-Kelly is one of those bullies.”
The former Billie Reed and reality star even punctuated that with, “He made my life a living hell on the set of DAYS, He was horrible to me, I’d go so far as to say verbally abusive. He was passive-aggressive, manipulative and played weird mind games.”
Besides his role in the soaps, Kelker-Kelly appeared on primetime on Touched by an Angel and Rescue 77 , and played Bo in the Days of our Lives specials Night Sins and Winter Heat in the early 90s.
Michael Fairman TV will provide further updates as they become available on the death of Robert Kelker-Kelly.

Didn’t care all that much for his version of Bo Brady, but his first run as Stavros on GH was great work. Can’t say the same about the cartoonish version ReRon wrote years later though. That’s one Cassadine popsicle that never needed to be taken out of the freezer.
Don’t believe Rinna. She’s always been a wannabe attention seeker. Enjoyed him very much as Bo and as Sam Fowler. May he RIP.
RIP handsome you’ll always be Sam to me you and Amanda kept Another World on the air. XXX
R.I.P. to him. He brought an edge and sultriness to Bo on Days of Our Lives and was as compelling as Stavros on General Hospital. 62 is too young.
Very sorry to hear of Robert’s death. Even though the story was ridiculous under Jill Farren Phelps and Megan McTavish with Helena resurrecting Stavros in her secret underground lair underneath General Hospital, I enjoyed RKK playing Stavros, especially the way he played off Tony Geary and Genie Francis. Maybe a little cartoonish and over the top, but the same can be said for a lot of great soap villains. He took what was written for him and ran with it.
Condolences to his family, friends, and former colleagues.
I thought he was a good Bo Brady yes heard the rumors but they are always out there! 62 too young
This is very sad news. I really enjoyed him as Stavros on GH. Deepest sympathy to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
RIP RKK
I’m only familiar with him as Stavros. He made the most of a character that shouldn’t have been resurrected. And, he had matinee idol looks that exuded sex appeal.
I find it distasteful to end your reporting of Kelker-Kelly’s passing with catty comments from Lisa Rinna. Perhaps she will have an opportunity to say something gracious in his passing.
James…Brother…I find Lisa Rinna to be BOTH catty and distasteful…PERIOD!!!!!
Don’t count on it. I liked as Sam Fowler on Another World. Yes, 62 is too young.
One of the best looking men ever on daytime
His run as Stavros Cassadine could’ve been 1000× better. GH wrote him way too cartoonish, and they could’ve written him as more a leading man especially considering he was playing a Cassadine. He had chemistry with Genie Francis. But the plot where he wanted LuLu to have his baby was utterly insane. And as much as him and Lisa Rinna hated each other, their version of Bo & Billie was HOT. They had insane chemistry.
Great actor. Loved him in AW. His Bo was sexy and sultry. RIP
Sad to hear this. I dont believe anything Lisa Rinna says. Genie Francis always had good things to say about him. Condolences to his family.
I thought he was great as Sam on AW, and I actually preferred his version of Bo Brady to Reckell’s at the time (I still think it was one of the best recasts ever on soaps), although Reckell won me over after he returned in the role and later. Stavros Cassidine was a terrible idea from the get-go, but RKK managed to make it work somehow, which is an extraordinary attestation to how talented he was. (Ditto for Bobbareno on AW, an incredible convoluted mess that he made at least watchable.) I was stunned to see this news pop up in my news feed earlier; 62 isn’t exactly young, but it’s pretty young these days to be going to meet your maker. Condolences to his friends and family.
He was a great actor. This has been difficult to process. He did a great job as the character of Bo Brady. Not an easy recast-casting for any actor. Robert moved on and compassed a new career it seemed. A pilot: pretty amazing. My condolences to his family.
