Soap Favorite Vincent Irizarry to Undergo Emergency Surgery
We are sending good thoughts and prayers to soap veteran and Daytime Emmy-winner, Vincent Irizarry. The actor will undergo an emergency medical procedure on Friday at Cedar-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles.
Irizarry’s girlfriend, Yvonne Gilson, shared via Facebook, what happened to Vincent and the plan for the surgery.
Gilson expressed: I need to share some sad news about sweet Vincent and ask for prayers. 
. Back in December, Vincent was walking out a restaurant/bar and witnessed a man being volatile to his wife in the parking lot. He went right over to intervene and calm the man down and instead was then violently hit to the ground himself, suffering multiple bruises and a serious head gash and concussion resulting in fluid to his brain. The man then proceeded to beat his wife unconscious. Vincent was rushed to the ER and had to be treated for his head wound, injuries and tests run. Unfortunately, that fluid has increased substantially over the last 3 months requiring emergency head surgery this Friday morning. To all his fans, friends, followers and prayer warriors out there, please please please send Vincent positive vibes and please keep him in your prayers at this time. Say a special one for his surgeon and a 
successful procedure and speedy recovery.”
Daytime audiences have loved Vincent’s portrayals through the years as Lujack and Nick on Guiding Light, Dr. David Hayward on All My Children, David Chow on Y&R, Deimos Kiriakis on DAYS, and Dr. Jordan Armstrong on B&B.

This is such a sad story. Another animalistic psycho let’s loose on a woman and innocent people have to suffer. I sure hope they catch this psycho and deal with him properly. All best wishes to Mr. Irizarry and his loved ones. I really loved him as Lujack on GL, circa 1985/86. He sounds like a stand-up guy.

I’m sorry for what he experienced it’s nice to help people but don’t get involved on people s problem s I would of called the police that is what they are there for. Best wishes and prayers for this wonderful person
I wouldn’t be surprised if onlookers had already called the police and they weren’t arriving fast enough. He may have decided it was better to step in rather than stand there watching a woman get beat to death. Maybe his involvement distracted the attacker long enough to keep her attack from being fatal. We just don’t know because we weren’t there. Best wishes to him and I hope he has a good recovery. And may the attacker be brought to justice.

Prayers that the surgery goes well and that Vincent recovers quickly. I had the pleasure of meeting him in person at Disneyland and getting my picture taken with him. He was so nice.

He was so brave to try to intervene and has paid dearly for doing so. I wish him well and hope for a successful outcome. I know him from AMC primarily, fantastic actor.
Vincent Irizarry: I never watch Soap Operas, but what this man did, Vincent Irizarry, was a kind act to prevent a woman being beat up, however, because he stepped in he was the one getting severely injured. This lends further credence to the old adage: “no good deed goes unpunished.” But we should still do good deeds, and I pray for a speedy recovery for Irizarry.
I agree with your view, Jamesj75. Do you remember the young actor David Huffman, mid 1970s thru mid 80s? He was a good actor and ridiculously handsome. He was in ICE CASTLES, FIST, and many other credits. He tried to intervene, under different circumstances, in a criminal situation in 1985…and was murdered for his efforts. The assailant is still in prison. Such a promising career just ended in a few seconds. Let’s hope Mr. Irizarry makes a full recovery.

James…I’ve been such a big fan of Vincent Irizarry starting back in the 1980s…when be played Lujack and (later on) Nick McHenry on Guiding Light. I hope and pray that Mr. Irizarry pulls through this and makes a full and complete recovery. Also…I was a fan of David Huffman and his movies. Chrishell Stause Wins ‘MTV Movie & TV Award UNSCRIPTED’ For Best Reality Star
Selling Sunset and former soap star, Chrishell Star (Ex-AMC, DAYS, and Y&R) took home the fan voted Best Reality Star at the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards: UNSCRIPTED that aired Sunday night.
During her acceptance speech, Stause expressed deep appreciated for the positive response she received after making her new romance with Australian singer/rapper G Flip public.
Following thanking those involved in Selling Sunset including her ex Jason Oppenheim, Stause shared: “I knew about this nomination before I had said anything about my sexuality. I’m not trying to get really deep with you guys, but the fact that this was voted on after means so much to me because I wasn’t sure how that was gonna go.”
Stause won the award over Chris Tamburello (The Challenge), Lindsay Hubbard (Summer House), Teresa Guidice (The Real Housewives of New Jersey) and Willow Pill (RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 14).
After her win, Chrishell tweeted: “I. AM. SO. HONORED!!! Truly thank you to everyone that voted And thank you so much MTV & Netflix”

Chrishell Stause and Singer G Flip Confirm Relationship
During the premiere of Friday night’s Selling Sunset reunion show on Netflix, there were several major moments, but one of them surprised many.
Former All My Children, Days of our Lives, and ‘Young and the Restless’ star, Chrishell Stause confirmed that she is in a relationship with Australian singer, G Flip.
Stause revealed that she is seeing the non-binary singer after the moderator, Tan France asked Chrishell if she was seeing anyone. The former soap star expressed: “I recently have been spending a lot of time with someone that’s very important to me. Their name is G Flip. They’re non-binary, so they go by they/them,” adding, “They are an extremely talented musician.”
Leave it to her soap background to play a part in the ultimate connection between Chrishell and G Flip. Stause explained: “It started because I was just going to be in their video. And it’s about this chaotic love story. I come from soaps, I love acting. And with the job that we have, I don’t always get to do it. At first of course I was like yes, let’s do that.”
G Flip’s latest single GAY 4 Me is out now and her new single is dropping on May 13th, GET ME OUTTA HERE.

Previously, Chrishell was dating her ‘Selling Sunset’ boss, Jason Oppenheim, who opined about the break-up of their relationship on the special. In a scene shown on the Netflix special, Oppenheim shared, “This is not the time of my life where I want to have a family.” Months back, reports had surfaced that the couple had differences they could not overcome. However, now Jason expressed that Stause was “the love of my life” and said he may regret forever the fact that he let her go.
Now back to present time. According to PEOPLE.com, Stause is enjoying the company of G Flip, and the two were seen out and about at West Hollywood’s nightclub/bar, The Abbey, this past Thursday cozying up to one another.
In addition, it appears that Stause and G Flip are now living together in Chrishell’s Los Angeles home, which reportedly was purchased, in part, by her selling her wedding to her ex husband, This Is Us star, Justin Hartley.
Over the last 24 hours, Stause took to her Instagram story clad in a bikini, and showed us the renovation progress of a large closet at her home. She closed the IG story withm “I’m gonna come out of it now,” to which several of her former DAYS castmates had fun with the ‘play on words’ response and shared some comments back to her.
