I’m thrilled Brandon recently adopted but that is too bad they attended this event. HSUS has become a poor representation of animal welfare in the USA. The HSUS has ever closer ties with the extremist group PETA, and they are continuing along a path that not only restricts and decreases the rights of responsible owners, promotes BSL(breed specific legislation) but also increases high volume kill shelters. As with many large organizations most of the money given are going the bureaucracy and not to the cause. What bleh said is true. Not a single penny of Humane Society funds goes to shelters that help save the lives of abandoned animals and place them in new homes. Donate to local rescue organizations instead.
As with many large organizations most of the money given are going the bureaucracy and not to the cause. Supporting local rescue groups and shelters through not only monetary donations but items such as food, beds, etc. is really the best way to help animals in need.
