Soap Vet Michael Lowry to Appear on Days of our Lives

Photo: JPI

Next week on the April 2nd episode of Days of our Lives, look for the debut of former All My Children, ATWT, OLTL and B&B star, Michael Lowry.

Best known in the soaps for his role as Dr. Jake Martin on AMC, Lowry is playing another doctor, but this time in Salem.

According to Soap Opera Digest in their latest issue on newsstands now, look for Michael to take on the role of DAYS’ Dr. Snyder, who can first be seen with the returning Jan Spears (Heather Lindell), as well as Martha Madison (Belle) and Shawn (Brandon Beemer).

As viewers know, Jan went back into a coma after being nearly strangled to death by John (Drake Hogestyn) who lost it when Jan said that she killed his daughter, Belle.  Look for Marlena (Deidre Hall) to worry what Jan’s recovery might mean for John!

So the questions remain … will Jan wake up out of her coma and manipulate Dr. Snyder? Will he be in on her latest scheme?  Don’t miss next week’s Days of our Lives.

Now, let us know if you will be glad to see Michael Lowry back on your daytime screens via the comment section below.

Awesome news. Michael is very handsome. We need more doctors in the hospital, Kayla can’t run the darn hospital herself.

Bigger news, why hasn’t there been a post about the recast of EJ on DAYS? All other soap sites have confirmed that EJ is being recast. Mr. Fairman, we look forward to your update, too. Thank you,
Jeremy

Hell forbid we have to endure another ReRon recast of a long gone Days character.

“Eve” and “Diana” were complete disasters. Fake Vivian one was awful. Fake Vivian two was better, but wasted on a ridiculous plotline NuClaire is good enough, but literally older than her own mother should be. (She’s 28 and Belle was born in 1994!)

Since Thaao Penghlis is the one who broke the news, I’m assuming he was telling the truth about his “new” little brother. Just hope it’s not another steaming pile of out of character dragonshit as a result.

I beg of you to be wrong. I can’t stand that guy. He spoiled Y&R for a lot of us and now hope he plays a bad guy on here and not just a jerk as he was on the other.

DAYS Olympic-Style Promo to Tide You Over Until It Returns

DAYS fans know from past Olympics, that when the games begin, the long-running NBC soap opera which gets a two-week preemption leaves its viewers with one hell of cliffhanger and this time they left viewers with two.

First, EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) now knows that Sami (Alison Sweeney) cheated on him with Lucas (Bryan Dattil0) and apparently goes to confront her, but in true EJ fashion he does not let on that anything remiss. Meanwhile, Ben (Rob Scott Wilson) has “kidnapped” Ciara (Victoria Konefal) just before she was to walk down the aisle and marry Theo (Cameron Johnson). Cin fans were rejoicing here!

So, while the games of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics (which are not taking place in 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic) are taking place, NBC delivered their own Days of our Lives promo Olympic-style to hold viewers over till we return to Salem.

Take a look at the promo below.

Now, let us know, which story are you most looking forward to most when Days is back on the air? Share your thoughts in the comment section.
