SPIDEY! Patrick J. Gibbons First Day Back To One Life to Live!

Courtesy/PaosRevolution.com/PatrickGibbons
Now this was cute! OK, dare we say, “super cute!” Patrick J. Gibbons, who has won the hearts of One Life to Live fans everywhere for his portrayal of little Sam Manning, came back to work this week at One Life’s new Connecticut studios to film new scenes with his TV family!
Thanks to Paos Revolution documenting Patrick’s return to Llanview through an adorable series of photos, you can now see first images of Patrick with Andrew Trischitta (Jack Manning) pictured here to the right, plus on-screen mom, Kassie DePaiva, and Sam’s Aunt Dorian, Robin Strasser, and one with Roger Howarth (Todd), and another with what looks to be one of his first on-screen outfits!
Make sure to follow Patrick on his Twitter page, too! So what do you think of this photo of Patrick and Andrew? Are you happy to see Patrick is part of the reboot of One Life to Live? Let us know!
I love all the pics that have been on Paos Revolution’s website! I cannot wait to see what they will release next! It has been one surprise after another with them! Thanks for sharing!! I have to say I am torn between fav. pics from Patrick, him hugging Roger’s leg tugged at my heartstrings, and the pic of him beaming next to Robin brought tears to my eyes!! 🙂
Patrick is incredibly adorable, and such a gift from the land of Llanview. His scenes with Roger Howarth before the show left ABC were magical. Can’t wait to have him back! I just don’t want him to grow up!
Me either. Just don’t want him to grow up.
They arent brothers…they are cousins. Sam is Victors son while Jack is the son of Victors brother Todd. They only were half brothers when everbody thought Victor was Todd. I think iam right. Any way its good to see little Sam and Jack both back on the show.
That would make them cousins as well as half-brothers as they share the same Mom (Blair) 🙂
Confusing but I believe you are right Jen.
Thanks Jen…i knew they werent full brothers because of the two different dads…i kept thinking Margaret was Sams mom because i wasnt watching soaps fulltime when Sam was born and by the time i tuned back i thought Blair was his guardian or adopted him. Better knowing he’s Blairs than Margarets!
Unless they rewrote history I am pretty sure that Margaret is Sam’s mother
Patrick is Blair’s adopted son. He is the biological child of Margaret who raped Victor (who everyone thought at the time was Todd). Jack is the biological child of Blair and Todd. So, since Blair adopted Patrick that makes Patrick legally Jack’s full brother, while at the same time biologically Jack’s cousin.
I thought Sam was Margaret and Victor’s son….Hence, Jack and Sam are cousins.
Your right!
Why did i comment on this…im more confused now. Jack and Sam are definetly cousins as long as Todd is Todd and Victor is Victor and they are twin brothers. I always believed Margeret was Sams momma and Blair adopted him. Jack and Sam would then be cousins as well as stepbrothers. They cant be full brothers M unless he and Jack had the same birth parents, and if they did have the same birth parents they really wouldnt be cousins then. If you are raised by your uncle and aunt that still wouldnt make you a cousin to your siblings…you would always be their natural brother and sister no matter what.
Patrick is adorable and I’m so happy he is back with the show.
Absolutely LOVE him… he is so adorable! I love him with both RH and TSJ. So glad he is back!
You are technically right, Jim, but that is not the point. Blair adopted Sam as a baby, so that makes them brothers, period.
What? Sam is adopted? When? Why?
I just wrote someone that I want Sam to be the son of Victor (who should be the real Todd) bc Sam really does look like Victor.
When exactly did Blair adopt him?
OK Spencer Truman let everyone believe that Todd had killed Margaret at the lake, even tho he actually had Margaret, he blackmailed his ex wife to deliver little Sam, then Spencer took him and gave him to an adoptive agency and Marice and Michael McBain ended up adopting sam whom they named Tommy McBain, When Todd found out that Tommy was his son he wanted him back and that is when Marcie took off with Tommy/Sam. When Todd got Sam back finally, Blair adopted him because she did not think he should grow up with out a mom……
I’m so excited to see Patrick back on OLTL! Though, I was hoping he would visit GH and Sam would meet Emma! Two of the cutest kids acting today!!
I am delighted that Patrick is a part of the revamped OLTL! He has always added a spontaneous charm and innocent comedy relief to the storyline and thus made Llanview an even more dimensional place! I am looking forward to “Sam’s” antics and hope he will be included for many years!
And I hope he is the son of Trevor St. John because he looks like him.
They are all wonderful pictures, I am so happy for them, and us, One Life To Live is back.
Welcome back, patrick! So glad that OLTL is not SORASing like AMC is. I hate SORASing.
What does SORASing mean?
What do you mean when U say that U are glad that OneLife isn’t SORASing like AMC is?
It is a term they use in the soap opera business and magazines. It means “Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome.
On AMC all the kids have been aged 5 years since we last saw the show. So they are using all different young actors. I am glad OLTL is not doing that. I don’t like it when they do that. For instance, Bianca on AMC is going to have an actress playing her daughter who in reality is almost as old as the actress.
I CAN’T WAITE TO SEE SAM WITH VICTOR.HIS FATHER.BLAIR WOULD BE THE BEST PERSON TO ADOPT SAM .SHE TOO WAS THE RESULT OF RAPE SO WHEN HE STARTS ASKUNG QUESTIONS ,SHE THE BEST TO UNDERSTAND HOW HE’D FEEL..THE BOYS AND STARR ARE ADOPTED SIBLINGS /COUSIN.DANI IS SAMS STEP SISTER./COUSIN ,SO ITS BLOOD.AND LUV THAT SAM AND EVERYONE IS BACK,
The picture of Patrick and Roger is priceless……because it wasn’t a posed picture. Really mikes you realize (without words) how much this means to the people behind the characters…..paos, thanks for posting!
Didn’t Sam Manning wear glasses? I rememeber him wearing glasses! He looks a bit different to me. Is he the orginial character? I remember Roger with Sam . When Todd was dressed up as spiderman. When no one knew he really was Todd.
It is the same Sam, and from what i remember he did wear glasses in some scenes.
Patrick ( Sam Manning) looks EXACTLY like Trevor St.John. He has to come back and be the father of both Sam and Jack. Todd (Roger Howarth) can not, it doesn’t work. In fact, Todd needs to be Victor Jr.
I love Sam and Jack…..” Other than ” Vickie and St. John, Jack and Same are my favorites….
I adore little “Spidey” Sam, and he needs to be played by Patirick! The anticipation for the reboots of OLTL & AMC is wonderful…..

‘General Hospital’ Alum Kelly Monaco Reveals She’s Six Months Sober

Longtime General Hospital favorite, Kelly Monaco (ex-Sam McCall), took to her Instagram on Tuesday, September 15 and shared that she is six months, seven days sober from alcohol. Monaco played Sam for 21 years on the ABC soap opera.
Accompanied by a screenshot from the I Am Sober app that tracks the progress of anyone struggling with or trying to not drink, Monaco wrote, “Now the whole 6/7 thing makes sense! #duces.”
Monaco has kept a very low profile since her final episode on General Hospital aired back on October 30, 2024, when Sam had a shocking heart attack and died. It was later revealed that Daytime Emmy nominee, Jeff Kober (ex-Cyrus Renault) injected Sam’s IV with a fatal dose of digitalis.

One thing has remained a constant with Kelly’s unwavering fan base, they want her back on General Hospital, because as we know in the soaps, many characters somehow come back from the dead, so why couldn’t Sam?

Soap Alums Remembered During In Memoriam Segment at 78th Emmy Awards; Patrick Muldoon Omitted

During last night’s 78th annual Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony, as it does every year, the television academy paid tribute to those in the industry that they’ve lost over the last year; since the previous Emmys held each year in September.
Starting with an emotional tribute to the late Catherine O’Hara by three of her co-stars, Schitt’s Creek’s Annie Murphy and Dan Levy and Home Alone’s Macaulay Culkin, the segment then dovetailed into Noah Kahan performing “Bridge over Troubled Water” as the faces and the names of those being remembered were shown on the screen.
Daytime soap alums, who either stayed in the genre for the majority of their career, or went on to primetime success as well, were honored including: Anthony Geary (Luke, GH), Hayden Panettiere (Sarah, OLTL, Lizzie, GL, Juliette, Nashville), James Van Der Beek, (Dawson, Dawson’s Creek, and Stephen, ATWT), Gil Gerard (Alan, The Doctors), June Lockhart (Mariah, GH), Patricia Crowley (Mary, Port Charles and GH), Randolph Mantooth (Clay/Alex, Loving and The City, and Richard, GH) and Jon Cypher (Alex, ATWT and Arthur, Santa Barbara).

THOSE HONORED AND THOSE WHO WERE NOT
However, in a glaring omission, the producers of the In Memoriam failed to include Days of our Lives beloved star, Patrick Muldoon who played the OG Austin Reed and also Richard Hart on Melrose Place. Muldoon passed away in April of this year at 57.
After Kahan concluded his performance, a special tribute to Rob Reiner began with Jamie Lee Curtis taking to the stage to share some warm words about her late friend.
In a ironic and sad twist, Curtis shared ,“Last week, Robbie won an Emmy for guest actor in a comedy series for his beautiful work on The Bear, and he now holds the record of 48 years for the longest gap between acting Emmys, which was previously held by his father Carl Reiner, at 37 years.”
Reiner, who along with his wife, Michele Reiner were killed by their son, Nick Reiner, is currently awaiting a decision if he will stand trial. Prosecutors on Tuesday, shared they will not seek the death penalty if he is convicted at trial, but instead life in prison. Curtis said of Rob, “He was generous and kind and funny as hell, and a friend to all. We all miss Rob and Michele and all those we lost this year.” The Emmys then faded to black and went to commercial break.
So, were you happy to see those who you know from their work in soap operas included in the 2026 In Memoriam tribute at the Primetime Emmys? Share your thoughts in the comment section. But first, in case you missed it, you can watch it below.
