SURPRISE: Ted Shackelford back on The Young and the Restless!

Y&R fans who tuned into yesterday’s episode of the number one soap were in for quite a surprise, when in one of the closing scenes on the episode, viewers saw what looks to be a “stranded on an island” and bedraggled, Jeffrey Bardwell, played by his originator, former Knots Landing star, Ted Shackelford!

Shackelford has not appeared on Y&R for almost nine months! And if you recall, Kin Shriner has been filling in for Ted in his absence! And we must say,  good job by the powers-that-be in Genoa City for keeping Ted’s return under wraps.

So where is this all leading to in story? Stay tuned and find out.

I’m glad he’s back – I’ve always liked Ted Shackelford.
Looking forward to this story.

This was a very welcome surpise! Ted is always great in his scenes and really brings the character of Jeff to life. No offense to Kin. So many wonderful things happening in Genoa City. Best of all are the triumphant returns of Melody Thomas Scott and Stacy Haiduk!! I’m LOVING my favorite show right now!!!! 🙂

Ted Shackleford has been very missed. I’m sorry to say that he looks very unhealthy and thin. I am hoping that if he’s ill, he will be recovering and putting on some much needed weight. So glad to have him back and teaming with Gloria again..

Mishael Morgan Stars in Hallmark’s ‘Christmas with a Kiss’

The Young and the Restless fan favorite, Mishael Morgan (Amanda Sinclair) is back with yet another holiday film, in which she stars. This Sunday, December 3rd, look for Morgan in Hallmark Channel’s, Christmas With a Kiss (8pm ET/7pm PT).

In the romantic holiday film, Morgan stars a Mona, a New York City social media ambassador who has been rather unlucky in love as of late. Before Christmas, Mona takes a trip to Manhattan and returns to her family’s farm upstate to help her parents prepare for the annual Christmas carnival, founded by her great-grandfather.

According to Sinclair family lore (interesting the last name is “Sinclair” … right, Y&R fans?). one will find everlasting love if they kiss their date under the mistletoe during the carnival’s closing-night dance.

Like clockwork, Mona runs into her ex, Fletcher (Ronnie Rowe Jr.), and old sparks reignite. But wait! Mona has another suitor in Dez (Jamie Callica), a reporter doing a story on the Sinclair family.  Who will Mona ultimately kiss under the mistletoe?

Mishael who resides in both Toronto and Los Angeles, was able to be part of this latest holiday movie near her Canadian backyard as it was shot in Milton, Ontario back in October.

In a recent Instagram post, Morgan shared: “What a fun shoot this was. In the name of Christmas, Don’t miss this one 😆🎄” The actress also just starred in BET’s: Sworn Justice: Taken Before Christmas. One thing is certain, since departing Y&R, Mishael has been in-demand.

Check out a sneak peek of Christmas with a Kiss below. Then let us know, if you hope an Amanda Sinclair visit to Genoa City might be in store next year in 2024, via the comment section.

B&B’s Katherine Kelly Lang Weighs-In On Hope’s New Attitude: “Brooke is Starting to be Like, ‘Uh-oh! She’s Taking After Me!’ ”

The Bold and the Beautiful’s Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) has been not pleased with her daughter Hope’s (Annika Noelle) choice in bedfellows! After all, Brooke and Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) have a long history of disdain for each other (although there was that time they took psychedelic berries together and pranced around with not much clothes on).

Hope had divorced Liam (Scott Clifton) and has been getting much closer to Thomas, feeling he is the only man who ‘gets her’ and ‘sees her’ for who she really is.  On recent episodes of B&B, Hope has no problem giving into her desires for Thomas, now that she is no longer Hope Spencer.

Soap Opera Digest spoke with series iconic star, Katherine Kelly Lang to get her take on what she thinks of Hope’s attitude adjustment and recent behavior.

Lang expressed: “She seems to have changed a bit. She’s not the sweet little Hope that she once was and Brooke is starting to be like, ‘Uh-oh! She’s taking after me!’’

Brooke is not happy that Thomas has apparently won over Hope, when she is wary of the guy. Katherine added, “Thomas was stalking her (Hope) and he did all that crazy stuff with the baby. He just hasn’t been good for her, you know, especially when he was totally obsessed with her. So, Brooke doesn’t believe that that’s completely gone, that there’s still got to be some of that in Thomas somewhere and she’s worried about her daughter. So, of course, she would kind of say, ‘This is not good. This is just not a good situation. With all the men in the sea, why, why do you (pick Thomas)?”

Photo: JPI

However, many might see that as the pot calling the kettle black given how Brooke has often given into her desires with the men in her life and made some pretty bad choices herself!

So, is Hope turning into a ‘mini-Brooke’? Should Brooke continue to warn Hope of Thomas’ past, or should she just mind her own business at this point? Share your comments via the comment section.
