Those who place bets that Hannah would end up alone at the end of her ‘Bachelorette’ season amidst betrayal, lies, and former girlfriends were right .. well, almost! On Tuesday, it was the second part of a two-night season finale for the ABC reality-dating competition and the former Miss Alabama was to choose her “Mr. Right” and who would get the final rose on the last installment of Hannah’s journey.
Choosing between Tyler and Jed, and waiting in Crete, Greece for a proposal, Tyler was the first man out of the limo, and that is never a good sign on the show. As he starts to profess his undying love to Hannah, she finally puts a halt to it. She tells him she loves someone else more. Hannah walks Tyler out to the limo to send him away for good. In the limo, he seems a bit crushed, but its hard to tell, because Tyler’s chiseled face remained fairly stoic.
That means Jed was Hannah’s man! Right? Wrong! When Jed shows up with guitar in hand (another shameless plug for his music career, but we ask, if you were trying to be a country music star, wouldn’t you use any opportunity to be heard?), it’s time for him to profess his feelings for Hannah. However, Jed says he is tongue tied and can say it best in a song. He then launches into the song he wrote about them and sings a verse/chorus. Next, he gets down on one knee, and Hannah accepts. They seem happy, although the look on Jed’s face throughout, in hindsight, felt like he may be hiding something.
The show fast-forward’s to the duo’s relationship post the final rose ceremony. Now in Los Angeles, Brown sees the PEOPLE article about Wyatt’s ex, Haley Stevens who claimed she was in a four month relationship with Wyatt; before he left to fly to L.A. to be part of The Bachelorette season.

With camera crews abound, Hannah asks Jed to explain all of this. He tries to tell his side of the story. But the more he explained, the more he looked worse to her and Bachelor Nation. Jed says he met Haley when he was very single, and he was dating around and he didn’t feel it was exclusive But then he says how they went away together, Stevens even met his parents, and that he told her he loved her before he left for the reality-dating show. Then. Hannah is beyond betrayed and takes off the engagement ring he gave her.
Now, we are at Tuesday’s live After the Final Rose, and Hannah reveals that she broke it off with Jed via a phone call several weeks ago. Jed comes out to the stage to basically no applause from the studio audience. This is the first time they have seen, or spoken to each other, since their engagement went bust. Jed apologizes again to her, but says he still loves her and always will. However, Hannah says her feelings for him have changed. She is done for good.

But all is not lost for Hannah’s now seemingly disastrous season of The Bachelorette. In the final minutes, Tyler comes to the stage and sees Hannah for the first time since she sent him packing. When the audience, and host, Chris Harrison are supportive of perhaps the two trying it again and getting together, Hannah says to Tyler: “I want somebody to be bold and I’m bold and I make bold moves. You’re an incredible guy and I’m a single girl. I thought maybe we could go for a drink and just hang out.” Without hesitation, the contractor/model tells Hannah, “I would love to. Just tell me when. I’m there.”
