THE BACHELORETTE SEASON FINALE: After Breaking It Off With Her Final Rose Fiancée Jed, Hannah asks Runner-Up Tyler Out On A Date

Photo: ABC

Those who place bets that Hannah would end up alone at the end of her ‘Bachelorette’ season amidst betrayal, lies, and former girlfriends were right .. well, almost!  On Tuesday, it was the second part of a two-night season finale for the ABC reality-dating competition and the former Miss Alabama was to choose her “Mr. Right” and who would get the final rose on the last installment of Hannah’s journey.

Choosing between Tyler and Jed, and waiting in Crete, Greece for a proposal, Tyler was the first man out of the limo, and that is never a good sign on the show.  As he starts to profess his undying love to Hannah, she finally puts a halt to it.  She tells him she loves someone else more.  Hannah walks Tyler out to the limo to send him away for good.  In the limo, he seems a bit crushed, but its hard to tell, because Tyler’s chiseled face remained fairly stoic.

That means Jed was Hannah’s man! Right? Wrong!  When Jed shows up with guitar in hand (another shameless plug for his music career, but we ask, if you were trying to be a country music star, wouldn’t you use any opportunity to be heard?), it’s time for him to profess his feelings for Hannah.  However, Jed says he is tongue tied and can say it best in a song.  He then launches into the song he wrote about them and sings a verse/chorus.  Next, he gets down on one knee, and Hannah accepts.  They seem happy, although the look on Jed’s face throughout, in hindsight, felt like he may be hiding something.

The show fast-forward’s to the duo’s relationship post the final rose ceremony.  Now in Los Angeles, Brown sees the PEOPLE article about Wyatt’s ex, Haley Stevens who claimed she was in a four month relationship with Wyatt; before he left to fly to L.A. to be part of The Bachelorette season.

With camera crews abound, Hannah asks Jed to explain all of this.  He tries to tell his side of the story.  But the more he explained, the more he looked worse to her and Bachelor Nation.  Jed says he met Haley when he was very single, and he was dating around and he didn’t feel it was exclusive  But then he says how they went away together, Stevens even met his parents, and that he told her he loved her before he left for the reality-dating show.  Then. Hannah is beyond betrayed and takes off the engagement ring he gave her.

Now, we are at Tuesday’s live After the Final Rose, and Hannah reveals that she broke it off with Jed via a phone call several weeks ago.  Jed comes out to the stage to basically no applause from the studio audience.  This is the first time they have seen, or spoken to each other, since their engagement went bust.  Jed apologizes again to her, but says he still loves her and always will.  However, Hannah says her feelings for him have changed.  She is done for good.

But all is not lost for Hannah’s now seemingly disastrous season of The Bachelorette.  In the final minutes, Tyler comes to the stage and sees Hannah for the first time since she sent him packing.  When the audience, and host, Chris Harrison are supportive of perhaps the two trying it again and getting together, Hannah says to Tyler:  “I want somebody to be bold and I’m bold and I make bold moves. You’re an incredible guy and I’m a single girl.  I thought maybe we could go for a drink and just hang out.”  Without hesitation, the contractor/model tells Hannah, “I would love to. Just tell me when. I’m there.”

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Franco Looks In The Mirror … And Believing He Is Drew Kisses Kim

This week on General Hospital, viewers have seen that when Franco (Roger Howarth) awoke from his mind-mapping implantation  (thanks to Shiloh and Dr Cabot) he woke up saying that he is “Drew Cain”.  Thus, as far we know, Franco now carries the life and memories of Drew from 2012 and back, and as of now, has no trace of Franco’s memories.

When Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Drew (Billy Miller) try to make Franco understand in his confusion what transpired,  Liz brings a mirror to Franco to see his face, which makes this all the more terrifying for him.  Liz insists to him that she is wife, but he tells her that he is sorry but he does not recognize her.  Franco insists he is going to leave town and Drew asks him to please stay put, as Liz promises that they can reverse what happened to him.  But can Liz really promise that?

Later, Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) fills Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Jason (Steve Burton) in on what happened and how Franco now was implanted with Drew’s memories, which leaves them stunned.  That means Franco, who is one of the people Jason loathes most in the world – now believes he is Jason’t twin brother.

Meanwhile, as Kim (Tamara Braun) and Julian (William deVry) prepare to leave Port Charles for Manhattan and start live anew, (so Kim can not be haunted by her life in Port Charles from the recent death of her son, Oscar) things are about to make a shocking turn … for her.

Back at GH, Liz is upset when Franco decides he must get out of his hospital room.  Liz is scared he will just skip town knowing he feels he has no ties there.  Drew reassures her that because he is a version of him, the pull will be way too strong for him to exit Port Charles.

Kim is now at the hospital getting ready to turn in her resignation letter and runs into Franco.  He recognizes her and calls her “Kim!” You can tell he is quite smitten with her.  Kim is not sure why Franco is acting that way.  She announces she is leaving Port Charles to which he says he is going to come with her. She sees he has a hospital ID bracelet on, so she thinks something has happened.  Just then, Franco tells her about the first time Drew Cain and her met up! This shocks Kim  … and the next thing you know … he moves in for a major kiss and lip-lock as Drew and Liz look on.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Hope To Steffy, “I’m Taking My Daughter & Don’t You Dare Try To Stop Me”

The next key revelation of the baby switch; that devastated the lives of Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam (Scott Clifton), but gave Steffy a baby to raise and a sister to Kelly, began to unravel on Friday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful.

Now that Hope knows for sure that Beth is alive and has been living as “Phoebe” under Steffy’s care, it was time to lower the boom on Steffy.  So, at the cliff house, a distraught Steffy refuses at first to believe the truth.  She says, “That baby can’t be Beth … she’s Phoebe!”

Liam (Scott Clifton) tells Steffy that he and Hope can do whatever genetic testing is necessary to prove it to her, but that it will indeed come back and prove that they are the biological parents to the little girl.   As they explain the events that led to Steffy ‘adopting’ Beth, she learns from Liam and Hope that Dr. Buckingham sold their baby for a gambling debt and how Steffy’s mom, Taylor (Hunter Tylo) was unknowingly buying their baby to give to her.

Hope says she cannot wait to take little Beth home, and how grateful she is that Steffy took such good care of her daughter all of these months.  Then, Steffy blurts out: “You’re not taking my daughter from the only home she’s ever known.  I’m her mommy.”  Steffy tries to use the reasoning that if Hope takes Phoebe away, she will be ripping her from the only home she has ever known.  Hope. who is becoming more frustrated and upset with Steffy says, “Her name is Beth.”  She then informs Steffy that she and Liam will let her help out with the transition.

Steffy starts to have a meltdown as she realizes that the little girl is really Beth.  Next, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) arrive on the scene.  Steffy defies Hope and tells her again, “There’s no way you’re taking my daughter home.”  Brooke reminds her and everyone in the room that there was nothing legal about the adoption, while Ridge tries to make everyone understand how Steffy is also blindsided.  Steffy continues on how she is the only mother Beth knows, and the cliff house as her home.

A steadfast Hope tells Steffy in no uncertain terms she is now with her, her real mother, who she should have been with since the day she was born.  Hope tells Steffy again how grateful she is to her … but she firmly tells her, “I’m taking my daughter, and don’t you dare try to stop me.”  We fade to black.

Last week and this week, the cast involved in the baby switch storylime from: Annika Noelle, Scott Clifton, to Jacqueline MacInnes Wood have delivered strong and memorable performances as the payoff of this story continues.

So, do you hope Hope just walks right on out with Beth?  Do you think Steffy will go so far as to fight for custody? Take off with Beth and runaway? Share your thoughts om what you think will happen next via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Will Franco Wake Up As Drew & Become The Next Victim Of Mind-Mapping?

Friday’s episode of General Hospital, picked up from the major plot twist; and unfortunately for Franco (Roger Howarth), even with the arrival of Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Drew (Billy Miller) to save the day; according to Dr. Cabot (Time Winters), the mind-mapping transfer could not be stopped.  And as the men were all bantering and arguing about, the download into Franco’s brain was fully completed.  Then, Cabot tells Drew that when Franco wakes up, it will be with the memories of Drew dating back to 2012.

Now the questions are, did the procedure work?  Will Franco awake from this nightmare with the history and personality of Drew, or could Dr, Cabot’s experiment be a bust on him?  Next. Liz (Rebecca Herbst) and Chase (Josh Swickard) show-up.  Liz is heartsick to begin to learn what happened in the warehouse to her son, Cameron (William Lipton) and her husband.  Chase arrests Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin), but he also goes to GH to get medical attention for his wounds from the fight with Drew and Curtis.

Once, Franco is taken to General Hospital still unconscious, Lucas (Ryan Carnes) is on the medical case and gets him a neurological work-up.  Lucas then has to stitch up Shiloh, who continually throws jabs at the good doc about Wiley.   Then in a bit of foreshadowing, Dr. Cabot tells Drew, that he will thank him once Franco wakes up with Drew’s memories.  Does that mean that Drew could have done some horrible things in his past … or that Shiloh will leave Drew alone, because what he needs is inside Franco’s brain now? Drew hopes his memories stay buried.

In heartbreaking scenes, and in touching performances from William Lipton and Rebecca Herbst; as well as Billy Miller, Cam tells his mother about Franco’s last words to him to,  ‘Tell your mom I love her and that I’ll be back”.   Liz learns how Franco protected her son, and traded places with him. Next, Liz sits by an unconscious Franco, and in tears, thanks him for keeping Cameron safe, but laments that it would be a far less wonderful world without Franco in it, and begs him to come back to her, and what a hero he is for what he did saving her son.

In addition, Cameron gives Drew a key piece of Intel he learned during his kidnapping and while the mind-mapping procedure on Franco was taking place.  Shiloh is looking for a specific memory that would allow him to disappear, and that is why he is so determined to get inside Drew’s head from back in the day, by any means possible!  When Cameron sees Shiloh being taken away by Chase, he runs at him but is stopped by Drew. Cameron threatens a snide and laughing Shiloh that he will, “Make him pay.”  Uh-oh!  Is a murder mystery on the way, too?  Drew tries to talk down Cameron.

As the episode comes to it conclusion, Lucas informs Elizabeth that the test results show that all of the physical functions of Franco’s brain are working normally,  However, they won’t know the impact of the mind-mapping procedure until Franco wakes up.

So, what do you think Franco will wake up as Drew? The procedure will half work and he will be part Franco and part Drew? The procedure is a dud? What did you think of the performances from everyone involved in this storyline?  Share your thoughts via the comment section below.
