This week on CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful the drama continues as Maya’s (Karla Mosley) secret is revealed to former flame Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor)!  Already Maya’s sister Nicole (Reign Edwards) is armed with the truth that Maya is a trans woman.

Now the big question is, will Rick (Jacob Young) find out?  If so, how will he react?  In the latest CBS Daytime promo relates: “Being your true self …takes a gift … of extraordinary courage.”   Maya is convinced that Rick will love her for who she is, no matter what her past may have been.  Nicole tells Maya she is not proud of who she was when she was a man. Carter reminds Maya that Rick hates secret, and this one is a biggie!

Watch this week’s promo for B&B after the jump! Then let us know, do you think Rick will feel the same way about Maya if he learns the truth of her past?  Comment below!

I don’t know after the reveal of this story it just lost steam for me. Back to bored to tears again and please KKL a new hairdo is crying for you!

I hope now that Carter knows, this won’t take forever to have a complete reveal, especially to Rick. It would be such a disappointment to let such a powerful story lay flat after such an exciting start.

I don’t think Rick will like it. He won’t like the lying and won’t like that Maya was a man.

Some people are saying Manya will be moving to Genoa City. Has that been confirmed?

She might be able to stir things up in a good way in GC.

I really hope you made a typo when you typed “Maya” as “Manya.” Otherwise, you are proving exactly why this story is important. And how far Americans still have to go until true equality and dignity is reached for all.

We get this big reveal and now this story may be hurried along? That is not good. That Hope-Liam-Steffy triangle? THAT should have been hurried along!

I think Carter’s reaction was realistic, even though they were together for a hot minute….

I agree that Carter’s reaction was realistic. I want him to tell Rick. Rick will be angry as hell but only because of the secret. He’s already said everyone is jealous of him & Maya he’s going to be laughed at by Ridge not to mention the rest of the staff. I like the person who plays Maya but I hope she doesn’t move to Genoa City. We’ve lost a lot of our favorite actor’s/ actresses. Just today we lost another fav.If we can’t afford them, we can’t afford a new one.

DARK SHADOWS Sequel In Development By CW

What would a re-imagined Dark Shadows look now in 2020?  Well, the CW and Warner Bros Television have made a deal to develop the once uber popular ABC cult classic soap opera that aired from 1966-1971.

Now in development, the new Dark Shadows would be an hourlong.  According to Deadline, the pilot will be written by Mark B. Perry (Revenge, Ghost Whisperer and Brothers & Sisters.), so he definitely knows how to write a solid twist and turn soap.

The new Dark Shadows will be a modern-day continuation of the strange, terrifying, and sexy saga of the Collins family of Collinsport, Maine — a mysterious, influential, publicity-shy group hiding a ghastly secret: For the past 400 years, they’ve lived under a curse that bedevils their blue blood with every imaginable supernatural creature and horror.

The most notable and identifiable character of them all, was of course, Barnabas Collins played by Jonathan Frid.

In a statement, Mark Perry said of bringing back Dark Shadows: “As a first-generation fan, it’s been a dream of mine to give Dark Shadows the Star Trek treatment since way back in the ’80s when Next Generation was announced, so I’m beyond thrilled and humbled to be entrusted with this resurrection.”  He went on to say: “My plan is to take as few liberties as possible with the Dark Shadows canon, while bearing in mind a quote from a 1970s episode delivered by the inimitable Oscar-nominee Grayson Hall as Dr. Julia Hoffman: ‘The Collins family history is not particularly famous for its accuracy.’”
