Yes, I’m excited to see the time capsules. I’ve enjoyed the recent flashbacks of THE Sally Spectra so I want to see more! Great idea.

I watched it yesterday for the first time in a LONG time and it wasn’t too bad. I had no idea that Patrika Dabo (sp?) was on there and playing Sally Spectra’s sister. that was pretty awesome to see, I hope she stays on there. she looks great on there also. I’m glad they have Spectra even with the same studio and the 80’s logo still there, that was very cool.

I have a huge regret that I didn’t watch this show from the beginning. I never got to experience Stephanie/Sally. I love the new Sally. She is a great addition and is very expressive with your facial reactions. I am glad to have a breather from the Steffy/Liam/Wyatt and Ridge/Quinn/Eric storylines. Patrika Darbo fits in great and has the same spunk as she did when she was on DOOL in the 1990s. I can’t wait for the Australia remote.

I wonder if they will show any scenes with Ronn Moss as Ridge? So much of the history between Brooke and Ridge was when he played the character — can’t imagine how you could do history of the show without his portrayal of Ridge– the Ridge and Brooke pairing was a big part of show’s past— so if I can see RM play Ridge again even if only in flashbacks — that be great– but if I have watch Bill and Brooke in that balloon one more time or a Steffy and Liam montage of “their relationship” I will scream.

My favorites were watching Stephanie and Brooke fight in the fountain and so many others between the two of them. As we as when Stephanie died in Brooke’s arms. And the rollercoaster ride they went on together.

Did they kill off Taylor and never tell us no mention of Steffy and Thomas’s mom and yet she has a grandson and Steffy getting married again to the whiner. Brad has no respect for his actors from the past Ronn Moss was on for 25 years and Ibet their will not be any flashbacks of he or Hunter Tylo who was also very popular.

I hope they plan on bringing back more characters from the past like they did with Kristen and Tony. Would love to see Jackie M. and Taylor. (Loving the new Spectra BTW).

Guiding Light

Guiding Light’s Robert Newman Pays Tribute to the Brilliance of Lisa Brown

On Sunday, longtime Guiding Light mainstay, Robert Newman (Ex-Josh Lewis), shared a heartfelt message on his Facebook page on the death of his former co-star, Lisa Brown (Ex-Nola Reardon).

As previously reported, Brown passed away earlier this week at the age of 67 from cancer. She portrayed the beloved role of Nola on the CBS soap opera from 1980-1985 and was front and center in many stories which featured Nola’s antics, fantasies, and of course, her love affair with Quint, the late Michael Tylo.

In his message on Brown’s death, Robert Newman expressed: “I was greatly saddened to hear of the sudden death of the great Lisa Brown. When I first joined the show in 1981, Lisa was pretty much the center of everything. A real whirlwind. Her work with the late Michael Tylo was fantastic. I particularly have fond memories of Nola’s fantasies …Wizard of Oz, Casablanca, etc. I don’t think I was ever a part of those fantasies, but I remember watching them being taped in the studio and she was just amazing.”

Newman goes on to say: “One of my fondest Lisa memories, however, was sitting in the audience at the Winter Garden Theater in NYC watching Lisa head up the cast of 42nd Street with Lee Roy Reams in 1981 or so. It was one of those times when you see a colleague that you know from one genre, Daytime Drama, in an entirely different genre, Musical Comedy, and you are completely surprised and blown away. Again, she was just fantastic in the role and I as a fellow musical comedy performer, I had great, great respect for her. Below is a clip from a television performance of her as Peggy in 42nd Street. Her death at such a young age is a great loss to the daytime community. Love and prayers to her family and friends.”

Michael Fairman TV also shares below the video posted by Robert below, which reminds us of just how multi-talented Lisa was for her fans, the audience, and to all that knew her. On a personal note: “Lisa always performed at the ‘Night of the Daytime Stars’ benefit for AMFAR in New York City during the AIDS pandemic that I created and produced.  It was the annual event held the night before the Daytime Emmys, and she was always willing to lend her support and talents to help others in need.”

Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson Share Disagreement with Each Other Over Vaccine Mandate; Will Continue ‘Stone Cold and the Jackal’ Shows In 2022

On the latest episode of their That’s Awesome podcast with Steve and Bradford, released over the Thanksgiving holiday, General Hospital’s Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) and Steve Burton (Ex-Jason Morgan) took some moments to address how Steve’s decision to not adhere to the ABC and GH Covid-19 vaccine mandate (which caused the two-time Daytime Emmy-winning star to be let go from the show) would affect their live shows, podcasts, content moving forward, as well as if it has caused a riff in their friendship.

When addressing listeners of the podcast, Anderson shared the the two would continue on with their projects, but that he disagreed with Burton’s decision to not follow the GH vaccine mandate.

Bradford expressed: “If you know us, and know are brand, if you will, it’s built on friendships, and like all friends, we have disagreements.  I disagree with Steve’s decision and he knows that. But over are years of friendships, we have had plenty of discussions about this and other topics, and sometimes we agree and sometimes we don’t, but at the end of the day we are still friends.”

Steve added: “We usually don’t get into decisive things on the show.  Look, I have a right to believe in what I want, and you have a right to believe in what you want, and that’s what makes this country great and we have never been about division.”  In addition, Steve was clear that he has not agreed to any interviews at this time on the subject of his exit, and that he is already moving on, sharing: “I am just grateful for my time at General Hospital and the people and the friendships I have made there, especially with the fans.  I have had an incredible life. Listen, I’m OK. I’m at peace. I ‘m moving forward and I am excited about it.  Like I said in my video, when one door closes, multiple doors open, and that’s what happened already.  I’ve gotten a lot of requests for interviews that I don’t want to do, because I don’t want division … that’s the bottom line.”

Look for Anderson and Burton to hit the road in 2022 and continue with their successful Stone Cold and the Jackal live comedy show and appearances.

What did you think about how Steve and Bradford addressed their disagreement on the vaccine mandate within the podcast? Will you be seeing Steve and Bradford live if they come to your town in 2022? Comment below.
