The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless alums, Darin Brooks (ex-Wyatt Spencer) and Kelly Kruger (ex-MacKenzie Browning, Y&R and ex-Eva, B&B) have announced they are splitting up after 16 years together in a surprise statement released today.

According to TV Insider, Brooks and Kruger have decided to part ways and have filed for divorce. The status of their marriage comes after they almost would be celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary. They had been together actually for 16 years, having met back in 2010.

In a joint statement, Brooks and Kruger shared, “We’re committed to coparenting our two children and remaining friends.” The actors have two daughters together, Everleigh Jolie who was born in September 2019, and Gemma Wynter who came into this world in January 2022.

Ironically, even though they were both soap actors, the two met actually met on the set of Brooks’ now cult favorite college football comedy series Blue Mountain State where he played quarterback Alex Moran, and she played the guest role of Julia King.

Fast-forward to June 2014, and the two became engaged at the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris where The Bold and the Beautiful was filming on location and at that time both Brooks and Kruger were on the soap together, when she played Eva, the publicist. Then, in March of 2016, the two had a Hawaiian wedding. Darin is originally from Hawaii.

Professionally, and as previously reported here in an interview with Michael Fairman TV, Darin is busy promoting his new film, The Roaring Game, discussing the real possibility of the highly-awaited Blue Mountain State revival and even teased an upcoming return to The Bold and the Beautiful. Brooks won a Daytime Emmy in 2009 for his role as Max Brady on Days of our Lives.

Kelly Kruger, remains one of  TikTok’s top beauty influencers. Having been named, TikTok Shop’s Beauty Creator of the Year in 2025.

These people for gosh sakes work on your marriage it takes a lot of effort but it is worth it I do not understand why ?? Get counseling get on you knees pray whatever it is worth it . Breaks my heart you give up why you go to another relationship you are going to have the same problems it’s life!

Wow. You’re quite judgmental. How do you know they haven’t tried all the things you’ve mentioned? I imagine it was a difficult decision for them to make. It’s best to stay out of other people’s marriages. Especially when they are complete strangers to you.

Really not judgemental at all just wish they would try hard ten years is a long time.

Got to love a Trump loving Jesus freak. Note the sarcasm.

Again, how do you know they haven’t?

Shut up.

This really is judgmental. You don’t know why they proceeded to get a divorce. Unless you’re a guru on the state of anyone’s marriage, keep your mouth and your judgmental attitude off of this site. No one wants to see it and I’m sure Darin and Kelly don’t need to see it either. Your words are both hurtful and uncalled for. Next time some story like this comes along, instead of being all judgy, keep your trap shut.

‘Nuff said..

Sucks when marriages end, but sometimes people just naturally grow apart from the people they were when they married. It happens. Glad they’re focusing on remaining friends for the benefit of their children.

Please bring Darin back to Bold and Beautiful

He has already stated he is open to it, but he is also working on other projects right now. It’s not as easy as saying “Bring X person back to Y soap!” There is more to it.

On the Friday, May 8 Mother’s Day episode of The Price is Right, a retired veteran won over $240,000 in cash and prizes making her takeaway the largest prize ever won in a single pricing game in the 54-year history of the daytime version of the CBS game show.

The contestant, “Vanesa from Virginia” bested the previous record of $210,000 in a single pricing game of Cliffhangers set over a decade ago in 2016. The moment occurred when Vanesa played “The Lion’s Share,” the new high,” the new high-stakes branded game that debuted this season through a partnership with BetMGM.

In the game, contestants have to guess the prices of grocery items to earn up to five balls. Each ball is then dropped into a wind tunnel, revealing a hidden prize amount. After each reveal, contestants face a tense decision to walk away with their current winnings or risk it all to continue.

Vanesa went for the gusto! According to BetMGM and TPIR producers, Fremantle, “The Lion’s Share” is the first custom-branded game in the show’s history, and the first new pricing game on the show since 2021. BetMGM and Fremantle sealed a multi-year deal last year that lends  The Price is Right and Family Feud intellectual property (IP) rights for slots, table games and non-traditional casino games.

The Price is Right is broadcast weekdays on CBS and streams on Paramount+* (11:00 AM-12:00 PM, ET/10:00-11:00 AM, PT). John Quinn is the executive producer. Drew Carey is the host.
