On Wednesday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Eric (John McCook) and Donna (Jennifer Gareis) met with Dr. Colby (Justiin Davis) at the Forrester mansion. It was then, we learned a little bit more insight into the medical diagnosis and issues facing the patriarch of the fashion dynasty family.

Eric has been suffering from tremors, where his hands shake, and he is unable to draw his sketches completely for his upcoming “Battle of the Forresters” fashion show vs his son, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye).

Dr Colby shares that the after ruling out some initial theories of what could be going on, “Cerebral vascular disease and TIAs are our main focus.” Donna is in shock. Eric tells the doctors that the tremors are getting worse and how he couldn’t even hold a pen to sign a contract. Dr. Colby says his office will be in touch to set up more tests, as this is all a process.

After the doctor leaves, Donna is emotionally shaken and upset and very concerned for her ‘honey bear’.  Eric shares that he didn’t want to hurt or worry her. Holding him, Donna says, “You shouldn’t have to suffer through this alone.” Donna vows that together, “We’re going to fight this. Once we figure out what this is, we’re going to get the best therapy, the best medicine.”

When she tells Eric that he must let Ridge and the family know what is going on, he refuses, stating, “I want to do this my way.”  Eric is determined, health and all, that for the upcoming fashion show that his new designs will be his best ever. He tells Donna, “This will be my finest collection, my final line.” Eric firmly details how he started this company with his own hands and he can take it back, adding, “There’s only one master here and it’s me. It’s Eric Forrester.”

Later, when Donna exits to make them some tea. Eric picks up a pencil and starts to sketch a dress design, until he starts having a coughing attack. He grabs a tissue to cough in it, but when he pulls it away and looks down, he sees fresh blood.  A look of grave concern comes over Eric’s face, and we fade to black.

Check out a key moment from yesterday’s B&B below Dr. Colby, Donna and Eric.

Then let us know, what do you ultimately think Eric is suffering from? Share your thoughts in the comment section.

Finally, a story that doesn’t have to do with Hope, Liam, Steffy or Finn. It’s always exciting when B&B gets back to its roots with fashion stories, and I’m glad Eric is being given front-burner story again. He’s been the heart and soul of the show since Stephanie passed away, and has been criminally underutilized in recent years.

Finally a good story without pukey Liam whining but I will very sad if John McCook leaves!

I do not think it is amusing at all for this idiot Brad Bell to bring up an illness when poof it will be gone in four weeks never talked about again! Stay in you fantasy world with your mannequins etc

It will not be the same if Eric (John) leaves the show.

I thought maybe Parkinson’s untill he coughed blood. Now I don’t know

I thought that as well, but now I’m thinking TB? Or lung cancer? IDK either. Lol thanks for letting me share. Peace ️ everyone

Eric is such a great guy and to have Donna at his side is beautiful chemistery.she is the best wife for him.please keep their bond together.

Don’t drag this out. Eric is acting like a spoiled person
Needs to shape up.

Sick people change the closer they get to death. As a medical person, I saw this first hand.

Family should know. Everyone

Ridge would be supportive.

I am so sick of Sheila and whiny Liam. If Sheila remains much longer or Eric leaves, I’m gone.

Eric just signed 3 yr contract. Says he’s not going anywhere

I like Thomas and Hope together, Liam isn’t true to Hooe.

I think Eric has Parkinson’s

It is time for Erics son Thorne to step in and show he is as good or better designer than Ridge.

I agree! Besides, he’s a real Forrester, i hope that he’ll take over Forrester’s Creations & Ridge is thrown to the curve along w/high & mighty Steffy!

I didn’t know Thorne was a designer. When dud that happen?

I was coughing up blood in 2013 Turned out to be a tumor in my lung had lung surgery was the most painful surgery ive ever had and I have had several but I’m still here

I think he has lung cancer or ALS

OMG, we gave so many Doctors on here.l

I don’t know what Eric is suffering from but I certainly hope that they will have a cure for it!

I think it is TB

Just when you think B & B find a couple worth watching, Hope and Thomas, they destroy them . So much chemistry !! Hope and Finn is a losing storyline. If B & B put Hope and Finn in bed, they will find out how fast that we can change to channel ! It is sickening !!

Glad Eric is getting a story. Writers please keep Hope and Thomas working toward each other. They have amazing chemistry.

I think there’s something wrong with Eric that needs to be fixed that can be fixed until he gets his daughter working on it it’s not going to be fixed so he needs to get his daughter on it

I’m glad to see we’re moving on to Eric and other aspects of the B&B. I almost stopped watching with all the “love scenes” between Hope and Thomas. I’m sorry, Hope is a pretty lady but soft porn is not her sexy.

General Hospital’s 16,000th episode was packed with little reminders through points in today’s script that the ABC daytime drama series has set another milestone and it paved the way for the return of fan favorite and newly nominated Daytime Emmy Lead Actor nominee Steve Burton (Jason Morgan). The 16,000th episode also introduced viewers to the new surgeon in Port Charles Dr. Tristan Roberts played by Dean Geyer.

Here are the key takeaways and what went down on the July 13 episode: Tristan and Jason are seated next to each other on a plane heading to Port Charles. Throughout the flight, a beaten up Jason has flashbacks to being thrown into, and being held captive in a cell and tortured. It appears Jason is suffering from some form of PTSD from what he was put through after being dragged out of Port Charles by the WSB months ago.

As the plane prepares to land, Tristan tells Jason there would be a car waiting for him once they land and to enjoy the rest of his life. Later, Tristan arrives at the nurses and doctors hub at GH and approaches Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). He tells her his name and that he is the new surgeon on staff.

A REUNION PLUS A HEAD NURSE DEFENDS SONNY

Meanwhile, at the end of the episode, Jason is outside the Quartermaine boathouse looking bewildered when he runs into Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), who is so thrilled to see his father, and the two hugs each other as tears are shed.

Elsewhere, Elizabeth tells Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he thinks its a great idea for him to get the 16th seat on the hospital board, but when it comes times to convince Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) of that, things go awry when Tracy, Laura and Sonny try to work things out. After Tracy launches into Sonny about killing Alan and Monica’s son AJ, Sonny walks away dejected.

Next, Sonny runs into Elizabeth, where he informs her what happened with Tracy. So what’s a head nurse to do? Elizabeth marches into the conference room and reminds Tracy of all the different donations and ways Sonny has contributed to the hospital from the Stone Cates AIDS wing, to the Michael Corinthos Center for Pediatric Head Injuries as well as his constant support each year for the GH Nurses’ Ball.

WSB WAR SCARS

Then, in one of the best parts for longtime fans of the series, Elizabeth talks about her legendary grandparents, Audrey and Steve Hardy and she tells Tracy they would have wanted Sonny to have a seat on the board for all the good that he has done for the hospital. After Elizabeth states Sonny’s case, things took a turn and Tracy and Sonny wound up shaking hands as Sonny is board member #16.

In the how great was it to see Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) together scenes department, the pick-up of last Friday’s cliffhanger is played out as the two former lovers fill each other in on what has gone down in their lives in the last several months including Valentin admitting he had been living in Carly’s attic, and Anna realizing she was kidnapped by Cullum, Sidwell and Cassius Faison. During their conversation, Anna sees the hallucination of Peter August (Wes Ramsey) right while Valentin is standing there.

Later Anna was on her way to saying goodbye to Valentin, when the two share an emotional hug. After Valentin made his exit, Peter reappeared and warned Anna to not let Valentin distract her because she has important work to do. Anna answers, “I know.”

So, what did you think of General Hospital’s 16,000 episode? What do you think is wrong with Jason? What is the important “work” that Anna has to do? Were you glad to see Sonny get a seat on the hospital board, or not so much. Weigh-in via the comment section. But first, check out the scenes on Jason and Tristan’s long flight to Port Charles.

This week on General Hospital begins with the ABC soap opera’s 16,000th episode which brings Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) back to Port Charles after being released by the WSB; all thanks to the deal made between Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Z (John Oliver).

On the same episode, the upshot of Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) coming face to face, and seeing each other for the first time in months plays itself out, and it may not be how you think. Josslyn hopes sending Valentin to the side of Anna, will break up his burgeoning relationship with her mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), but will it?

It appears Valentin has a warning for Anna. In the GH video preview for the episode, Anna is seen saying “How do you know that?” What does Valentin know, and will he be the person that will catch on that she is being haunted by the ghost of Peter August (Wes Ramsey)?
