B&B’s Lawrence Saint-Victor Shuts Down Comment that He is Using His Position as a Writer on the Soap to ‘Kiss All the Actresses’
The Bold and the Beautiful has several multi-hyphenate talents and a few of them not only act on the soap opera but are on the writing team. Of course, we are talking about Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter) and Heather Tom (Katie).
Saint-Victor is currently involved in a new romantic storyline with Hope Logan played by Annika Noelle. In story, the two are starting their own business venture, after Hope was fired from Forrester and shown the front door by Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). All this, after Hope trips and falls onto Steffy’s husband, Finn (Tanner Novlan) and they land on a desk!
Fans on X can be extremely rude and vicious at times, just typing from their keyboards or phones, not realizing the implications of what they are saying, or if they do realize it, they certainly can expect a backlash. That has happened here, after a fan claimed that Lawrence is using his position as a writer on the soap to write himself into stories and scenes to kiss actresses on the show. That comment was since deleted on X. However, Lawrence wanted to clear the air.

On Monday, Saint-Victor fired back at a poster, “I don’t usually respond, but you’re calling my integrity into question. I as a writer, have no control over story or what Carter does or doesn’t do. I’ve seen a few of your ignorant remarks about me. They are insulting.”
Then on Tuesday, taking to his X account, Saint-Victor shared, “Here’s some context about my response to a ‘fan”’yesterday. I was accused of using the power they think I have as a writer to write myself into love scenes so I can kiss all the actresses. That’s an insulting statement, and I wish not to be tagged in comments like those.” Fans and followers were quick to come to his defense and he added, “Thank you all for your love and support.”

This isn’t the first rumors floating around on Saint-Victor of late. For back in September, some fans came up with the notion that he was leaving The Bold and the Beautiful to jump ship to the new CBS daytime drama series, Beyond the Gates, which is absolutely not happening.
Saint-Victor made his soap opera debut as Guiding Light’s Remy Boudreau from 2006-09. Later in 2009, he co-created the web series Wed Locked along with his former GL co-star Karla Mosley (ex-B&B and now Beyond the Gates),which eventually caught the eye of B&B EP and head writer, Brad Bell. Lawrence joined B&B in 2013 and began on the writing team a few years later.

In an interview with Woman’s World back in September, Saint-Victor shared on his excitement to be a part of the writing team, “I get to work closely with Brad, and hear his ideas and his vision, and then work with the writers and write. As an actor, you’re usually the last one to get it, but as part of the writing team, you’re part of creating the thing that they’re doing on set every day. It’s so fulfilling.”
He added, “I love the writing, because you’re kind of isolated and in your own space. But I am an actor, so I also enjoy being on set and being artistic and collaborative with my fellow artists. When my character is front burner and I am writing, I’m very busy. I gotta delegate my time, but the writing of the stories also aids me when I’m acting. It all works together.”
Share your thoughts on a fan calling into question Saint-Victor’s integrity due to him being on the writing team, when he is also an actor on the show. Then, let us know if you are enjoying the Carter and Hope pairing? Share your thoughts in the comment section.

Thope fans are the worst. They attack actors and fans grossly. But keep pushing that gross couple
Fans on social media can be so mean. The real criticism is why Mr. Saint-Victor cannot get better stories, one involving a lasting relationship instead of Carter l being the other man or eventual second choice. He is far more exciting actor to watch than many of his cast mates.
Too much alcohol drinking on the soaps
Way too much bed hopping. Sick.
Um… booze and bed hopping have been part of soaps for decades. That’s like complaining about seeing bad things if you watch the news. Find another genre if you’re looking for puritanical values.
I’m always glad when I see Carter in story.
Me too. I just wish they could all get along so we don’t have to take sides.
I Love Carter and Hope together, they are the New Power Couple , Let someone else have power instead of the Forester’s.
Carter was.better off with Katie. Hope give me her momma Brooke Vibes. Not good.
Too much sex, Hope relationship with Thomas was all about sex, and how he can help her line, she grew fond Of Carter after he came to help.
If he as the writer, it seems like he makes all the women (street-ladies …name one that have not been taken to bed., Brooks (father, son, and Hope father.
Its a family show, I watch it daily, can they stay out the bed for a while, and have a normal life.
I also would like to comment him on his factoring career, he’s great, but too much sex. Everyone of the character been in bed.
I can see why the comments.
Enough is enough.
He should not take it personal, like he told Stephanie, but his character of Carter, need not romance. everyone, next Bill son will be in bed, and Bill with his ex daughter.
I hope you get rid of him and Hope. She is a low life hope, who thinks she can have any man she wants, & Carter is just as bad, bedding every woman on the soap, please please get rid rid of them before they destroy more lives
I think everyone forgets that Steffy locked Hope in a gondola Making Liam think she wasn’t going to show up so Steffy Walked up the side of the mountain and wedding attire and married him And how stuff is thrown herself between Liam and Hope’s marriage. and even how Steffi married to Finn at the time kissed Liam in Rome after Liam seen Thomas and Hope kissing none of this stuff ever gets brought up that Stephanie thinks she’s holier than thou
It bothered him that much? There may be some truth to it he has been with dam near all the women on there
So has everyone else. It’s part of the role they play.
I think it is Very rude what some people are saying about Saint Victor I think he is a good actor.
It’s just the soaps come on, people.
We all get caught up in the drama, but after all, it is just a show. I wish Saint victor the best I watched this show for years still love it
Why does Carter always get the leftovers, he needs his own special love. Just like Taylor. Bring new faces to the story and create new relationships with new characters. Give Carter, Taylor, Ridge, Liam and Dollar Bill new Love with new faces and watch the real drama. Put those youngsters to work …..It’s always the same circle of idiots. “No pun intended”
I don’t like seeing Carter and Hope together. It makes me feel like I want to puke, or change the channel.
I love Carter. I hope he quits Forrester’s and take Hope and all the Logan’s and Zende,to start their own fashion house ,and leave the Forrester clan in the dust.
Not a fan of Hope and Carter only because Hope is confused, and all over the place. The chemistry on her part is Luke warm which reads as though she’s using Carter. As far as the ignorant comment questioning St. Victor’s integrity … we shouldn’t breathe air into ignorance, jealousy and hate.
He is exploiting writing position to self promote and frankly its made me ill.
I cannot watch this B&B garbage any longer.
This actor’s inflated ego turned my stomach.
I think he killed the soap I won’t be watching this any longer.
Fairman start being fair to viewers not merely catering to egos on the sets.
There’s an entire writing team, not just St. Victor!
Sorry but this is more of HIS coordinate PR! First he bragged about writing but when people realized he starred himself and downgraded others he tried to pretend it was not him at all. This is all BS . Now I am sickened by his stupid arrogant character and his ego
He uses his position for self promotion and to exclude competition.

Soap Alums Remembered During In Memoriam Segment at 78th Emmy Awards; Patrick Muldoon Omitted

During last night’s 78th annual Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony, as it does every year, the television academy paid tribute to those in the industry that they’ve lost over the last year; since the previous Emmys held each year in September.
Starting with an emotional tribute to the late Catherine O’Hara by three of her co-stars, Schitt’s Creek’s Annie Murphy and Dan Levy and Home Alone’s Macaulay Culkin, the segment then dovetailed into Noah Kahan performing “Bridge over Troubled Water” as the faces and the names of those being remembered were shown on the screen.
Daytime soap alums, who either stayed in the genre for the majority of their career, or went on to primetime success as well, were honored including: Anthony Geary (Luke, GH), Hayden Panettiere (Sarah, OLTL, Lizzie, GL, Juliette, Nashville), James Van Der Beek, (Dawson, Dawson’s Creek, and Stephen, ATWT), Gil Gerard (Alan, The Doctors), June Lockhart (Mariah, GH), Patricia Crowley (Mary, Port Charles and GH), Randolph Mantooth (Clay/Alex, Loving and The City, and Richard, GH) and Jon Cypher (Alex, ATWT and Arthur, Santa Barbara).

THOSE HONORED AND THOSE WHO WERE NOT
However, in a glaring omission, the producers of the In Memoriam failed to include Days of our Lives beloved star, Patrick Muldoon who played the OG Austin Reed and also Richard Hart on Melrose Place. Muldoon passed away in April of this year at 57.
After Kahan concluded his performance, a special tribute to Rob Reiner began with Jamie Lee Curtis taking to the stage to share some warm words about her late friend.
In a ironic and sad twist, Curtis shared ,“Last week, Robbie won an Emmy for guest actor in a comedy series for his beautiful work on The Bear, and he now holds the record of 48 years for the longest gap between acting Emmys, which was previously held by his father Carl Reiner, at 37 years.”
Reiner, who along with his wife, Michele Reiner were killed by their son, Nick Reiner, is currently awaiting a decision if he will stand trial. Prosecutors on Tuesday, shared they will not seek the death penalty if he is convicted at trial, but instead life in prison. Curtis said of Rob, “He was generous and kind and funny as hell, and a friend to all. We all miss Rob and Michele and all those we lost this year.” The Emmys then faded to black and went to commercial break.
So, were you happy to see those who you know from their work in soap operas included in the 2026 In Memoriam tribute at the Primetime Emmys? Share your thoughts in the comment section. But first, in case you missed it, you can watch it below.
