After National Preemption, Here’s What Ahead This Week on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’
Those expecting to see an all-new episode of The Bold and the Beautiful on Monday were disappointed, as breaking news coverage of U.S. President Donald Trump’s White House meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and European leaders cut into network daytime programming.
Next, CBS made the decision to preempt the August 18th airshow of The Bold and the Beautiful nationally. For those times zones in the United States that did not continuing live news coverage; an encore episode of the soap aired from back in 2021 featuring Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) wedding.
For the rest of the week, viewers can be on the lookout for Luna (Lisa Yamada) on the loose, who has donned a black wig and some big sunglasses to disguise herself as an Il Giardino employee at what looks to be a Rave-style party that is attended by Will (Crew Morrow) and Electra (Laneya Grace). Since coming out of her coma, Luna has waisted no time targeting her new obsession, Will Spencer.

Meanwhile in the B&B “What’s Ahead” promo for this week, while Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) professes to Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) how much he loves Hope (Annika Noelle), she is getting closer with her ex-husband, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) after they try to come to terms with how Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) faked Liam’s brain cancer diagnosis for months, all to get her hands on $1 million dollars to keep ex Reese’s (Wayne Brady) gambling goons away from her daughters and her.
With B&B not airing on Monday, that means the revised schedule and spoilers for the action this week look like this below for episodes airing August 19-22.
Tuesday, August 19
Undetected at Will’s promotion party, Luna plays Will against Electra.
Li lets Sheila know that Luna has given them the slip.
Wednesday, August 20
Luna watches with malicious satisfaction as her plan unfolds
Thursday, August 21
Deacon intervenes with Will.
Luna puts her plan in place.
Friday, August 22
Will tries to put the pieces together.
Sheila and Li are upset with Luna for sneaking out.
So, were you frustrated by today’s preemption of The Bold and the Beautiful? What do you think of Luna’s deep-seated obsession with Will Spencer? How will she get Will all to herself? Share your thoughts and theories via the comment section below. But first, in case you missed it, take a look at B&B’s “Look Ahead” teaser video.
These preemptions are frustrating !people will probably yell but the constant disrespect for the daytime lineup is obnoxious! I’m glad that days is on Peacock now because we never miss an episode! Bold just back on track after another preemption now a day behind again and with a new soap like beyond the gates getting constant preemptions it’s hard for a new developing soap The bottom line this won’t happen on prime time and there are dozens of channels that stream shows that people get the continuity! Broadcast tv is having a hard enough time as it is and we have a dozen news shows ! Make it stop
I saw a new episode of The Bold and Beautiful on a Canadian channel.
WHEN I CANT WATCH B AND B DURING THE DAY,I WATCH VIA THE CBS WEBSITE,WHICH SHOWS ALL PROGRAMMING..WHEN IT IS PREMEPTED HOWEVER,YOU CANT DO THAT! OH WELL..ALTHOUGH ITS IS FANTASY AND ROMNACE ON TV THAT KEEPS US INTERESTED,THERE IS REAL WORLD STUFF GOING ON WE DO NEED TO KNOW ABOUT!
More and more, I love and enjoy watching ALL of my CBS Daytime Lineup. What I REALLY AND TRULY HATE is for my daytime programming to be interrupted by that ORANGE-HAIRED MONSTER Donald Trump!!!!! That CLOWN gets WAY TOO MUCH ATTENTION already!!!!! ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!!

Now that Sidwell is in police custody, she has no way to gain access to the paralytic drug she has been using for months to keep her husband Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in a locked-in state, unable to speak or move.
WILLOW IS LOSING CONTROL OF DREW
However, Drew is seen and he can finally move his hands and his feet and is moving around in his wheelchair. Then, Willow is seen beginning to freak out sharing, “We won’t be able to control Drew much longer!” Is Drew finally coming to get his comeuppance? What will be his first move against Willow, once he can walk and talk?
Finally, the promo comes to its conclusion, and Portia (Brooke Kerr) has suddenly gone into labor and she’s all alone! Will Curtis (Donnell Turner) or Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) show up in time or someone else to help her deliver her baby? Will there be medical complications that could derail the birth of her child? Stay tuned.

Now let us know, will Jason be released from his imprisonment pronto thanks to Josslyn’s deal with Z, or suffer some more? Do you hope Drew gets payback on Willow? However, while Dylan (Sydney Bullock) makes another play for Will, he is filled with regret of not coming forward and bracing Electra for Hope jumping ship to Logan, and their new jewelry line featuring the “Hope for the Future Diamond.” How long will Electra and Will remain apart?

You can check that conversation out below.
