THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL Preview: After Ridge Lowered the Boom on Brooke; That Steffy Remains Co-CEO, Where Does She and Hope Go From Here?

This week on all-new episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) must deal with the consequences of his decision to keep his daughter, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) in a position of power as his Co-CEO of Forrester Creations, and not allow his wife, Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) to usurp her.
Brooke is deeply disappointed as she said to her husband on the Friday, May 15 episode of the CBS daytime drama. Now, heading into a new week of drama, as Hope (Annika Noelle) awaits news that Brooke is the new Co-CEO, so she can get a fair shake that her line ‘Hope for the Future” won’t be back-burnered, she will learn the news that if she stays at Forrester, Steffy remains her boss. The question is, will both Brooke and Hope hightail it over to Katie (Heather Tom) and Bill’s (Don Diamont) fashion house, Logan, after Ridge’s final decision? Stay tuned.
In addition, the B&B “Look Ahead” spoilers video shows Remy (Christian Weissmann) confronting Dylan (Sydney Bullock). He shoots her a look that if she does not make inroads with Electra (Laneya Grace) and Deke (Harrison Cone), he will continue to hold over her head secrets of how she got the job lead as the beach house art teacher and more.

The Soap Opera Era of William Bell and Douglas Marland has departed… (originally a CBS gal)
We are now in a different era, 25+plus years forward…
Forresters versus Logans versus Spencers, in many a permutation (thank you for attempting to bring in the younger generation though I’m not interested in this Soap)
Same formula of Newmans versus Abbotts versus Chancellors versus Winters and now Summers
MISSING the next generation kids, as they all are “away” at school or MIA -)
Victoria: (Claire), Reed, Johnny, Katie
Billy: Delhia (passed), Johnny, Katie, soon baby to be with Sally
Nick: (Noah), Summer, Christian, Faith, grand baby Harrison
Sharon: Mariah (with grandbaby Aria), (Noah), Faith
Phyllis: (Daniel (with Lucy), Summer (with Harrison)
Adam: Connor
Abby: Dominic
Lily: Charlie, Maddy
I’m sure I’m missing some…
WHERE??? oh WHERE??? is The YOUNG and the RESTLESS??? (emphasis – YOUNG!!!)
I miss the nuanced family relations being on the front line with the business issues being background – this all seems to be backwards
Guiding Light – Bauers, Spauldings, Reardons, Chamberlins, Lewis, Cooper, Santos, etc.
As The World Turns – Hughes, Stewart, Snyders, Walsh, Ryan/Steinbecks, Dixons, etc.
I’m sorry to dredge on about this, but there are way too many legacy generational characters to create, drive story with, and allow the generational shift to happen if Y and R wishes to survive the modern realm of Soap Operas.
Us fans want to see what happens with the generational shifts!!!
(Hopping off my “Soap Box”)
Everything you said is true. Abby is Victor ‘s daughter, but she is NEVER included in the family meetings.
Yes!
Thumb way up Lewis
This writing needs help the people who write the show have got to be in their 70s in order to obtain what she wanted from red she had to put on her “sexy pajamas“ she’s supposed to be a Titan of industry and that’s the only way she could figure she could get that promotion to CEO plus the fact I’m sick and tired of seeing Ridge just stare. I think he had a whole 25 words to say in a week and don’t get us started on. Hope she’s almost 40 years old. She can’t make decisions. She allows herself to be treated like that in this day and age in a workspace you need to get stronger, female characters and better younger writers.
