THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Deacon and Finn Make a Shocking Discovery and Find Sheila

Courtesy/CBS

On the Monday, April 29th episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, our two sleuths, Deacon (Sean Kanan) and Finn (Tanner Novlan), are looking for clues that Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) could be alive, especially after the homeless man (Clint Howard) tells them he saw a woman in their photo go into an abandoned building and he heard screaming until suddenly it stopped.

Deacon and Finn decide they have to go inside the dingy vacant building and search for Sheila. Once inside, Deacon is overcome, saying, “It’s awful in here. Like something died.” Finn keeps calling out his mother’s Sheila’s name. Eventually, the two end up at a locked gate and see a rat.

Next, they bust open the padlock to the gate and make their way down a flight of stairs, and then split up. During the search, Finn is hearing Sheila and Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) voices in his head, but take his flash flight and spots an old mattresses, garbage and a blanket.

Finn shouts, “Deacon, hurry up get in here!” Deacon hurries and they lift up the blanket to reveal a body. Finn rolls the body over and it’s a bloodied Sheila! Deacon is in shock, but takes off her shoe and sock to reveal the missing toe on her foot. Finn cries out, “Mom! Mom!!” We fade to black.

As previously reported, Kimberlin Brown is back as it appears Sheila is alive, and her lookalike Sugar is the person that Steffy stabbed in self-defense. Now the question becomes, what will happen to Steffy when she finds out that Sheila is alive, and she killed the wrong person?

What did you think about the reveal that Sheila is alive as discovered by Finn and Deacon? Comment below. But first, check out a little bit from yesterday’s B&B.

This story is so lazily written, and it’s very evident that Brad changed his mind mid-course. Why did it take two months for Sheila to be cremated? Why did Sugar go after Steffy, and for how long was she pretending to be Sheila? Why did no doctor or the coroner examine “Sheila’s” body after the stabbing to reveal the missing toe? How long has Sheila been in that building, presumably unconscious and withering away without any food or drink?

Also, something that has been bugging me for YEARS – Lauren’s lack of involvement until just recently. If Sugar is the one who died, then I assume the writers are just completely ignoring the Phyllis lookalike story on Y&R. Lauren didn’t mention it to Deacon when they talked about Sheila/Sugar, and considering the fact that Lauren thought she ended Sheila’s life way back then, she should have had more of a reaction to her being alive in the first place.

Sometimes you need to read the expiration date on a character I have no interest in her anymore ! Shut it down Brad

I just am done with Sheila. I love the acting, no one can play that part like Kimberlin Brown. Enough is enough.

Sheila is back baby so get ready for May sweeps! And a new contract for the Emmy talented Kimberlin Brown. Brad may have saved his show with this resurrection of one of the best villains in daytime. Get out the commercials: Bold is Back!

I watch N.C.I.S and know a lot of what an autopsy involves and this Coroner should lose his license. The writing could have been more authentic and believable to say the least.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Kristina is Rocked By Sonny’s Behavior, Finn Teeters on the Edge as Gregory’s Condition Worsens

Monday’s May 20th episode of General Hospital brought with it emotional moments featuring excellent performances by Kate Mansi (Kristina), Maurice Benard (Sonny) and Michael Easton (Finn).

In the pick of Friday’s cliffhanger, Sonny goes postal on Dex (Evan Hofer) and Jason (Steve Burton), until he sees that Kristina heard and saw the whole thing. She runs into the bathroom, while Sonny goes after her.

Sonny is begging Kristina to let him explain. He goes on to say how Dex and Jason both turned on him, and to please not be afraid of him. But, all Kristina can do is cry as she begs Sonny not to touch her, and with that, he walks out.

Alone and frightened, and trying to calm herself down, Kristina phones Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) and tells her to come to the bathroom. Kristina is worried about her unborn baby, and cannot believe her father’s behavior.  It’s at that point, Kristina voices she feels like a fool because everyone was warning her about her father. She thought he had a code of ethics, but the man she saw threaten to kill Dex and Jason is nothing like that, leaving her bewildered and stunned.

Jason calls Carly (Laura Wright) and she comes running to the Metro Court to find Sonny, while Jason follows her, but remains sight unseen. Carly finds Sonny at the pool area. Sonny says he thinks no one loves him anymore. Carly says Kristina just needs some time. Carly tells Sonny to not act like that again, but Sonny says he can’t promise that.

Following Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase’s (Josh Swickard) wedding, Gregory, Finn and Violet (Jophielle Love) come home.  When Violet  goes to bed, it leaves father and son to have some very heavy moments given Gregory’s battle with ALS. Finn tells his dad that he appreciates the time they have together now after years of being apart. Gregory tells Finn he is proud of him, which brings the good doctor to tears.

After Finn helps Gregory get ready for bed, he leaves and calls Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Finn admits he threw away 7 years of sobriety by somehow taking a sip of champagne at the wedding reception. Alexis wonders if subconsciously he wanted the drink but says that doesn’t mean he failed.

At the end of episode, Gregory is in bed, and has flashes of his own life from a child till now, and of his children, Finn and Chase. He finally closes his eyes. Will Gregory not wake up sending Finn on a complete downward spiral? Stay tuned!

AMERICAN IDOL: Abi Carter Crowned the Winner, Katy Perry Sheds Tears In Her Final Episode

American Idol has crowned its winner when platinum ticket holder, Abi Carter took herself all the way to the finals with her exquisite voice and performances.

The 21-year-old from Indio, California, won Americas vote to become the “American Idol” season 22 champion during Sunday night’s finale on ABC besting runner-up Will Moseley. Earlier in the finale, Jack Blocker came in third.

During the three-hour season finale, Carter got a surprise video from her idol, Billie Eilish, which reduced her to tears. That would be a first of many moments through the show that Abi was emotional, and so too, was departing judge, pop superstar, Katy Perry.

When Carter was crowned the winner, the camera panned to the judges table where Perry was in a puddle of tears overjoyed for Carter, and also knowing this was the end of her run after seven years with the show.

Earlier this season, Katy announced she would be stepping away from “Idol”.  A replacement has not yet been named. At the end of the finale, judges Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie shared an emotional hug with Perry, who also performed during the show with the aforementioned, Jack Blocker.

Previously, Perry during the audition process, voted not to send Blocker through and gave him a “no”. Blocker’s fortunes were changed when the ‘Idol’ production crew and Bryan wanted him to move on to Hollywood and the rest, as they say, was ‘Idol’ history.

The who’s who of the music industry was also on hand to perform with the top ten runner-ups in musical numbers leading into the final moments of the show. Guest performers included: Jon Bon Jovi, Jason Mraz, Wynonna Judd, Seal and New Kids on the Block.

In the moment of the night, Ryan Seacrest revealed Abi as the winner and she fell to the floor in tears. After previewing her new single in the final round of competition, “This Isn’t Over”, Carter attempted to gather herself to sing a reprieve of Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?” It was that song that started Abi’s ‘Idol’ journey.
