THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Finn Bursts Through the Door and Finds a Caged Steffy
On the Wednesday, September 4th episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Finn (Tanner Novlan) is the hero, when after an awkward talk with Luna (he was waiting in her office at Forrester to confront her), he gleans that she is definitely behind Steffy’s disappearance.
After denying not seeing Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) after she has gone MIA, it’s clear that Luna is evasive, defensive and rattled by Finn’s questioning. After she leaves, and the light bulb goes further off in Finn’s head, she heads back to lose it on a caged Steffy.
Luna (Lisa Yamada) tells Steffy how she has ruined everything and slips up that Finn may be on to her. So, what’s a crazy killer to do? She slips behind the bar of the dust-filled apartment she is holding Steffy in, and slips her drug concoction into a bottle of water.

Steffy is so thirsty and hungry as she has gone days without drinking or eating, so she is tempted by Luna’s offer, but refuses to drink the water knowing its most likely tainted with poison. Next, Steffy slaps away the bottle.
Just then, as Luna is packing up her things and telling Steffy that soon the bulldozers will demolish the building she is in, Finn crashes through the apartment door!

Luna runs out of the apartment, but Li (Naomi Matsuda), who has been thinking back to Finn’s claims that Luna is involved in Steffy’s disappearance, shows up. She looks in the apartment and sees a caged Steffy, and as Luna flees the scene and starts to run down the stairs, Li catches up to her. Now, Luna is stuck and Li is ready to have a massive confrontation with her.

Back inside the apartment, as Finn and Steffy are reunited, although she is still in the cage (shouldn’t he get her out of there STAT?), The Bold and the Beautiful’s majestic super couple theme music plays … and we fade to black.
So, are you glad that Finn figured this all out on his own and he was not portrayed as a doofus, but as the hero? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.
I am kind of shocked. I thought mama Taylor was going to be the brains in this whole mess. I am really waiting to see how Li is going to handle Luna. There is a bit of a crazed streak Li. I wonder if she is going to use it on Luna. Poor mama Poppy is going to have to watch her precious Luna suffer in jail. I just hope Bill doesn’t take her back. I am team Bill and Katie all the way
The door was probably unlocked but he burst through for dramatic effect. How did the most clueless character in soaps figure out it was Luna without any clues? Brad is nothing like his father the great Bill Bell, this story was horrible. I’ll take the more intricate plotting on GH anyday.
Agreed. This story could have used more suspense. Poppy and Luna are dispensible. Not all that different from Shauna and Flo. Bye! Whe were you again?… Convenient for another plot yet without any emotional investment from the audience. Bill and Katy, please. And give them romance and adventure. The actors are too watchable and filled with possibility not to be forefront and interesting. Bill runs a media empire. Katy is the smartest on the canvass. Oh, the possibilities, now with Will being SORAS’d.
I agree with you Mike. The whole thing was ridiculous
Just like Superman, Finn bursts in and saves the damsel in distress.
oh, brother!
Shari…y-e-p. What’s next…Finn having X-RAY vision?!?!? LOL
Your text is clear, but I made a few revisions to improve flow, grammar, and clarity. Here’s the edited version:
The idea that Finn is “clueless” or a “doofus” is inaccurate. He’s actually quite in character by figuring out the murder mystery and finding Steffy in the cage.
Finn, as a doctor, has saved multiple lives—Steffy’s after her motorbike accident, Thomas when he suffered a brain injury, and Eric during his terminal illness. He also knew the kind of person Liam was from the beginning. Additionally, Finn was the first to figure out that Sheila had cut off her own toe and faked her death.
B&B repeatedly dumbs Finn down when it comes to Sheila (and recently Hope), for the sake of their storylines. He can’t be portrayed as intelligent regarding Sheila and Hope, as they needed allies, and Finn was sacrificed for that purpose. However, overall, Finn has been portrayed as a very intelligent character.
Love the character of Li they should have been fleshing out her character a lot more but she takes care of Luna. Glad the story was rushed I’m sure poor Steffy had to potty!
I know a lot of viewers think the actor who plays Finn is weak I think he has grown a lot . Probably check out again after this story wraps up but I was glad to see for once Brad did not go off where Finn carried on with Hope on and on as for Taylor RB is too young and looks it she will be gone soon. Ridge and Brooke Geeze just stop already leave them together and be done with it
I’m surprised they found Steffie so quickly, She probably threatened she’d quit the show if they made her do the cage thing too long.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Steffy is Shaken to the Core, ‘Oh My God! I’m Pregnant!’

On today’s Thursday, September 10 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) discovers she’s pregnant, after taking a home pregnancy test, that will launch a new story arc that will remain front and center for the show in the months ahead.
The life-changing story kicks off the B&B’s 40th season which officially began on September 8. In it, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) is the biological father of Steffy’s unborn child from their drunken night together when both endured turbulent times in their marriages.
Previously, Carter had trouble with Daphne (Murielle Hilaire), when she initially walked out on him, because she could not carrying his child. Meanwhile, Steffy broke up with Finn (Tanner Novlan) while in Monaco over Finn’s mother Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) showing up, who once tried to kill her.

Fast-forward, Carter and Steffy made a pact that no one will ever need to know about their drunken night together, but now with Steffy becoming pregnant it changes everything. Making matters all the worse, Daphne views Steffy as her best friend, in fact, Daphne and Carter have been talking about having a child via surrogacy. While Finn had showed the couple how to start the process of finding a surrogate, Daphne felt just choosing a random person to carry Carter’s child is so impersonal. She would rather have it be someone she knows.
It does not take a scientist to predict … that somehow Steffy will carry the baby pretending to be the surrogate, when she its biological mother, and along the way, the questions become, does she keep the whole thing somehow a secret to herself? Doe Carter find out at some point? Stay tuned to see how this story reveals itself.
At its root, this is a major storyline for Wood, who has already won three Daytime Emmy Lead Actress Awards in her 18 years with The Bold and the Beautiful. In that time, her character of Steffy has experienced multiple pregnancies, given birth to two children, Kelly with Liam (Scott Clifton) as the father, and Hayes with Finn as the father, and endured a miscarriage.
So, what did you think of Steffy getting confirmation she is pregnant and looking mortified when she found out? What will she do next? Will she tell Carter? Will Daphne come to Steffy to ask her to be her surrogate, which Steffy may think will be the answers to her prayers, only for the truth to come out later, or falling in love with the baby since its hers to be begin with? Share your thoughts and theories for this major story for Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, via the comment section.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Steffy Comes to the Realization She May Be Pregnant … With Carter’s Child!

In case you thought for one millisecond that Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) would come out unscathed after their one drunken night together, you can kiss that notion goodbye.
As predicted, it looks like The Bold and the Beautiful is launching into a soapy trope plot that will cause drama for months, maybe even years to come, following the conclusion of the Wednesday, September 9 episode.
Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy have Carter and Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) over for an uncomfortable dinner party. (Thanks to Finn’s invite). During the get-together, Finn decides to talk about what happened in Monaco and how he almost lost the love of his life for good. Finn says he knows he never has to question Steffy’s commitment to their marriage. Cue: Steffy spilling wine all over the dinner table.

Not to be outdone, Daphne opens up about how she briefly split from Carter, and felt terrible for letting her husband down and what she put him through as she has been devastated over the fact she cannot give him a baby.
DAPHNE WANTS TO FIND A SURROGATE THAT SHE KNOWS
Later, Finn wants to show Daphne and Carter how to connect with surrogates around the world, if they should go down that route, and how you can really fine-tune what type of child you want to have even through surrogacy. Daphne’s been thinking about it and she wants this to be Carter’s baby, so they are thinking about using a donor egg.
Meanwhile, Steffy isn’t feeling very well, and is feeling hot and unsteady (Of course!). Daphne says that she would feel more comfortable it is wasn’t a stranger who was carrying their child, but would think about it.
UNSTEADY STEFFY
After Carter and Daphne leave for the night, Steffy is feeling more queasy. She thinks to herself, maybe she has food poisoning as Finn hugs her. Suddenly, she looks absolutely mortified. Steffy realizes all these symptoms she is having may signal she is pregnant!
It would seem The Bold and the Beautiful writers are going down a path of Steffy becoming pregnant with Carter’s child, while at the same time Daphne wanting Steffy to be her surrogate. If that holds true, then Steffy would have to do some fancy cover-up for months to keep Daphne from ever finding out she is truly having her child with Carter.
So, what do you think? Is this the story B&B is set to embark? Will Steffy be pregnant with Carter’s child and then be the “surrogate” for Daphne and Carter too? Weigh-in via the comment section.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Anna Breaks Down in Front of Jason and Britt After Shots Are Fired

The Wednesday, September 9 episode of General Hospital featured top-notch performances by Finola Hughes and Steve Burton, as Anna holds Jason and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) at gunpoint on Mount Emerson.
Anna is not in her right mind as hallucinations of Peter (Wes Ramsey) overtake her, egging her on to shoot and kill Britt. Jason begs Anna to put down the gun, but it’s clear Anna is speaking to someone who is not there, but in a direction that is just past Britt.
Suddenly, Anna screams at Britt, “You’re just like your father!” Anna also tells Britt that she knew Britt was aware that she was locked up on Spoon Island and did nothing to save her. Britt turns to Jason and tells him she had no idea Anna was on the Island, “until Cullum showed up in Port Charles.” That declaration gave Jason pause.

“PETER” TAKES A BULLET
Next, Anna is overcome with angst, filled with tears and screams out, “I won’t let you beat me!” She fires the gun where the imaginary Peter was standing, as Britt screams and Jason dove to cover her. Now completely shaken, Jason took the weapon from Anna and ordered Britt to leave the scene as Anna collapsed in Jason’s arms.
Jason was so concerned for Anna. She reveals she’s been seeing visions of Peter August since France. Jason shared his theory with Anna that she was manifesting her worst fears about Faison. However he knows deep down Anna would never have shot Britt. Jason promises to come back and clean up the area, but would take Anna home first.

ANNA ADMITS TO EMMA SHE TRIED TO KILL BRITT
At Anna’s, Jason brings her in the front door as Emma is there. Jason tells Emma (Braedyn Bruner) he would like to return and spend the night. A confused and worried Emma get the full story from her grandmother.
Anna explains she tried to kill Britt and she is not as well as she was pretending to be in France. Cut to: Jason cleaning up the site of Anna’s plot against Britt on Mount Emerson. He moves over and finds bullet casings on the ground and examines one of them.
The story climax also signaled the end of the run for Wes Ramsey, who has been showing up on episodes over the last several months as Anna’s dark side conscience. Now that Anna was able to break the psychological hold visions of “Peter” had on her, it ends this latest return of Ramsey’s.
So, what did you think about the scenes between Anna and Jason? Do you think Jason and Britt’s relationship will come to an end now that seemingly Britt revealed she knew Anna was held captive after Cullum came to town? Glad to know Anna won’t be haunted by visions of Peter August anymore? Weigh-in via the comment section below.
