“Big Bold and Beautiful News” Forthcoming Teases Series Supervising Producer, Casey Kasprzyk
When The Bold and the Beautiful’s Supervising Producer, Casey Kaspryzk takes to social media with an announcement or a tease of one, it usually indicates something really major is on the horizon for the CBS daytime drama series.
Late last week on Friday, April 5th, Casey took to his account on X and shared, “Big Bold and Beautiful News Breaking Next Week!!! Stay Tuned #BoldandBeautiful Fans!”
Immediately fans of the series began speculating. Many are hoping it’s the return of Matthew Atkinson who has been MIA on the show as Thomas Forrester. Others are predicting it’s the exit of longtime series star, Scott Clifton as Liam, who on current episodes is fighting for his life.

It may be more predictable news such as the series getting a renewal pick from CBS as it consistently is the second-best performing soap opera in the daytime line-up just after its sister soap, The Young and the Restless, or could it be another sweeping location shoot is on the way?
From a previous post on Instagram, Casey shared that he had been in Naples, and Capri Italy scouting locations for an upcoming remote. In recent years, B&B in late May usually heads overseas. The last time the series went on a remote to Italy was in Rome in 2023.

Recently, The Bold and the Beautiful celebrated its 38th anniversary having premiered on March 23, 1987. The series is the brainchild of the late great William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell who were the co-creators of the show. Now their son, Bradley P. Bell is the series executive producer (since 1995) and head writer (since 1993) as the series continues its domestic and international success.

So, what do you think the ‘big breaking Bold and Beautiful news’ will be this week? What do you hope it is? Share your theories via the comment section below.
Hopefully the news is they are renewed for another 3 years and Scott Clifton stays and Matthew Atkinson returns.
I agree
Liam is leaving hooray
in a way thats sad news..but there isnt much at all in new women ..B n B has got to get more actors in the mix. Ivy was suppose to reconect i thought with Liam.??
Bring back Joshua Hoffman
renewed for 3 years
Expanded to one hour?
Haha; never going to happen.
that would be awesome
In order for B&B to expand to an hour, they’d need:
1 – clearance in each international market it airs.
2 – one of the following shows to be reduced to 30 minutes:
– Y&R
– BTG
– TPIR
– LMAD
Taking all into account (including budget constraints) expanding to an hour is highly unlikely.
the will renewed for 39 yearson bold
bold is renewed for season 39
Thomas is back
They get rid of Taylor
that would be sweet
I hope they bring back some old characters from the past. Brooke moves back to the valley..Takes her daughter with her. Start a company. Bring back Rocco and Margo!! Now that would be a great story for Ridge to meet face to face again with Margo. Let Margo work for Brooke and Hope with the help of her sisters !! Lol. How iconic!! And Rocco!! Donna would flip.. you know nothing stays the same in the forester clan!! Lol.

TUNE-IN: ‘Beyond the Gates’ Banneker Homecoming Episodes, EP Sheila Ducksworth Speaks on Impact HBCUs Have in Real Life

As previously reported, kicking off today, is a two-part Beyond the Gates, when The Duprees gather to celebrate Banneker University’s homecoming weekend.
The producers and writers are taking an opportunity to spotlight the rich traditions of the long-held tradition of attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) through its fictional university.
The episodes are today on CBS and stream on Paramount+ on Friday, October 2 and next week on Monday, October 5, where in true Beyond the Gates fashion, there will be some surprising drama that ensues when someone shows up!

BANNEKER REFLECTS THE IMPORTANCE OF HBCUS
Sheila Duckworth, (executive producer, Beyond the Gates) spoke to Soaps.com to give some insight on the decision for the series to illustrate the ties that bind with HBCUs.
“It was important that we have this school as almost a character on our canvas, right from the beginning. Beyond even education, HBCUs have been pivotal when it comes to everything from economic progression and fostering a sense of community to the development of leadership skills,” explained Ducksworth. “From the beginning, we wanted to illustrate that what the Duprees are able to do in the world was a direct reflection of the impact HBCU’s have in real life.”
EVERYTHING HAS ITS PURPOSE
The EP talked about how purposeful the elements that integrate Banneker into the overall story of Beyond the Gates are including: the Dupree family door knocker that is a lion, the mascot for the fictional university, plus, the upcoming fight song that the cast will sing together on the Monday, October 5 episode, and the painting the hangs at Fairmont Crest.
That portrait of Vernon Dupree’s (Clifton Davis) father, George Cheeks Dupree, that hangs prominently at the country club, was named after CBS executive George Cheeks (now Chairman of TV and Media, Paramount), and as Ducksworth says of the legacy of Vernon’s father, “He was the architect of Fairmont Crest.”
So, are you looking forward to these episodes honoring HBCU traditions with the Dupree and the Richardson clans? What surprises do you think might be in store come next week? Let us know via the comment section below.

‘General Hospital’ Alum Tajh Bellow Fills In for ‘Days of our Lives’ Tyler Joseph Andrews in the Role of Theo Carver

After an earlier post on Thursday, October 1 about General Hospital alumni Tajh Bellow’s (ex-TJ Ashford) upcoming project from Issa Rae’s HOOPAE Digital, comes word that Bellow is temporarily stepping into the role of Days of our Lives Theo Carver to fill in for Tyler Joseph Andrews on the Peacock streaming soap opera.
According to TV Insider, Bellow will be making a one-day appearance next week on the October 6 episode of DAYS as Andrews was unable to make the tape date that was shot 10 months ago on a day last December. Andrews (pictured below) took over the role of Theo in September of 2025.
