There is a new intern at Forrester who is sticking around!  Word from EW.com is that none other than Dance Mom’s Nia Sioux is now under contract with the CBS soap.

Sioux had previously appeared on B&B in a short guest arc.   But then, The Bold and the Beautiful, EP and head writer, Brad Bell offered her a more steady gig.

Sioux plays Emma, who will be mixing it up with those feuding Forresters of the fashion world.

Previously on the reality series, Dance Moms, Sioux now 16, spent 7 seasons on the Lifetime show.  On Dance Moms is was Nia’s mother, Holly, who would constantly be upset with Abby Lee Miller for not paying enough attention to her daughter.

Sioux has been dancing since the age of 3.  Now she in in Hollywood trying her luck at acting.  Look’s like she is off to a great start.

I have never seen Dance Moms. She’ll need to be dancing as fast as she can in order to not be sashayed right off the canvas like so many others as of late. Welcome aboard!

I have read about Abby Lee Miller who just got out of prison and now has cancer? Might as well drag her into town, as she already has built-in drama.

Why?

What about Charlotte? Why not make her a regular? I liked her.

Have no doubt that Nia will give it her all. She’s a really hard worker.

Didn’t see any point to her scene yesterday. And what was up with Simon? It’s like he was trying to do a British accent. It was just so weird.

Now interns are going to be designing? Good grief!

Guess we can use more moppet power, like there isn’t enough. Can’t wait to see Ridge’s reaction when he finds out his wife invited her daughter’s ex to move in to be closer to her, rather than giving her stepdaughter more accessable room to win her husband back.

Soap Alums: Helgenberger, Bonilla, and Ilonzeh Cast in New Drama Pilot ‘Getaway’

Three very familiar faces to daytime fans have their new potentially new nighttime gig!  E.J. Bonilla (Ex-Rafe, Guiding Light) has been added as as series regulars opposite Annie Ilonzeh (Ex-Maya, GH) along with former Ryan’s Hope favorite Marg Helgenberger (Ex-Siohan) to the NBC drama pilot, Getaway.

In Getaway, the loglines for the series read that the proposed seriescenters on a destination wedding at an isolated luxury resort that quickly descends into chaos after a group of dangerous criminals takes the island hostage. The small group of guests, led by a fearless female Army vet (Ilonzeh), will do everything they can to stay alive.

According to Deadline: Helgenberger will play Sen. Charlotte Pierce. As a senior Democratic senator from New York, Charlotte is used to calling the shots. She’s happy to see her son, Jack (played by Matt Long), settle down with his bride, Grace (Jasmine Mathew), but there are darker forces at play she has yet to fully understand. Charlotte will soon have to choose between her family and the political career for which she’s worked so hard.  Bonilla will play Rafi Salinas. Rafi claims to be a fisherman on the run with his friends from a gang of cartel members, but he’s hiding a dark secret that will put everyone at the resort in danger.

The remake is of the satirical, Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman ,that developed quite the cult-following back in the 70’s and was a look into American media and consumer culture which starred Louise Lasser as Mary Hartman.
