I had no idea, then it just popped into my head – what if lil’ sis isn’t lil’ sis but daughter? Looked up the age of the actress who plays Maya; she’s 33. It’s a slight stretch, but it could be, especially if she’s playing just a little older. And how old is lil’ sis supposed to be? 18? That would mean Maya was 15 when “sis” was born; happens every day.

Wow!!! I am loving Nicole on the show. She is mouthy and puts Maya in her place. I bet she is Maya’s
daughter and not her little sister. I hope she stays on the show and compete with her mother for the lead model position

No one cares who she is more then likely Maya’s daughter! Another waste of money we could have good solid actors back on this show with history and we get stuck with this!

I think Nicole might be Mya sister she may have had as a very early teen, I know Mya had a kid she lost while in jail but she could have had her first child at 13, 14, 15 but was raise as her sister instead of her daughter just a thought.

I think baby sis, is really Maya’s daughter! My theory is Maya had her when she was maybe 14 or 15 and the family pretend that Maya’s mother gave birth to her. That would explain why there seems to be so much tension between Maya and her parents and it sounds like they had issues long before Maya went to prison.

My guess the boyfriend that sent her to jail was pimping her out as a prostitute before she did time.

Not really feeling this storyline yet. Would love to see Aly or any other member of Maya’s Fan Club find out the secret and use it before Nicole has a chance to, LOL! Just hope this secret and the storyline is somewhat fresh and original instead of the same old/same old.

I was a fan of Mya and Rick re-connecting ever since Caroline broke them up but now I’m soooo tired of them. I do like them together but can’t the writers send them on a vacation?

If Nicole is Maya’s daughter, then she’s aged awfully fast, as Maya stated she lost her daughter in an accident a couple years before she met Rick. I don’t think she’s her daughter; I think she is her sister, but there’s something that Maya is hiding. My first thought was that Maya was born a male and is transgendered. Wouldn’t that be a kick to actually have on air in a soap!

Storyline-wise and all, I’m kinda thrilled by this. I mean…for once, this seems to be a storyline that DOES N-O-T involve that needy and man-hungry Brooke…L-O-L!!!!! I’m just saying……….

I think that she is Mia’s daughter. I think she lied to Rick about her daughter dying and instead left the child with her parents to raise and they raised her. Can’t wait to find out.

My first thought was that Maya was born male. I don’t think Maya having a baby at a young age would make Rick not forgive her. It has to be something bigger than that. I think the story she told about losing her baby was a rouse to help cover up her true identity.

Maya is supposed to be mid-late 20’s. She came on the show having given up a baby who was killed in an accident.
Nicole is in college, so that would put her at 19-20 at least.
No matter how you stretch it, the mother/daughter thing doesn’t work.

That being said, and knowing how ridiculous the soaps can be and how far they try to push the envelope, they will probably try to sell that load of crap and expect us to buy it. Ain’t happening for me!
